An individual of tall stature, though average height for her species, with grey skin, lavender eyes, and a cloud of gas billowing from her head where hair may typically be on a common humanoid. She wears baggy overalls over a cropped white tee, oversized gloves, large boots, and headgear with protective ear covers and goggles.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

A tech-savvy individual with a heart of gold and a knack for organization. Shela is typically composed, friendly, and good under pressure. Like many of her kind, she has a strong belief in reciprocity, though she seems to want to walk a more active path as opposed to the aimless drifting of her species. She has a natural mistrust of Sith, given the history of her kind, but this will never deter her from offering kindness to those who need it. She has a preference for non-violence, carrying a stun gun for self defense.

HISTORY

Shela Folt, like most Nerite, was born in a spaceport. She never stepped foot on any planet in her childhood, learning the ways of space-faring from her parents. When she had come of age, now a skilled mechanic like her peers, she did as all Nerite do and departed to carve her own path in the galaxy. In her travels Shela has seen many things, be it the joys of friendship or the pains of war and loss. In such, she found herself dissatisfied by the aimless path of her species. So, when she found herself an abandoned space-fairing vessel of a good size and a group of like-minded individuals, she sought to make something of a grander purpose. A spaceport for all needs, a neutral spot without conflict to aid the weary. This place would become the Orion Freeport, and those who operated it the Orion Freeport Collective, a name which masked much of the grass-roots aspects of the project. Shela hopes to use this port to make the galaxy a better place, even if only in a small way.
