While the original idea for the device that would become the bracelet had gone through several iterations, such as trying to develop a full countermeasure to suppression fields or creating pocket within the field of Force connection, the development of such a device had run into headwinds for her.

The idea that was settled upon was a device that could detect when the wearer was within a suppression field or near one, giving them a warning, and then administering a mixture of stimulants to counteract the symptoms they might experience while in the field. Utilizing a thaissen crystal specially modified by the company and affiliated alchemists from their owner's personal power base to detect fields within a few meters of the wearer, the bracelet would offer visual and auditory warnings of the problem through a pulsing glow and chime. The bracelet was designed with a reservoir of andris spice extract and an Echani battle stimulant that could keep a subject on their feet and in the fight, so to speak, for roughly an hour before their symptoms would return in full force if the field couldn't be avoided, released when the internal diagnostics sensor detected readings consistent with the symptoms.
