- Accessibility: The Tothis system is an industrial center of moderate importance within the Corporate Sector and access to it is not restricted. The shipyards themselves aren't a secret and are easily located in orbit of Tothis itself. They are accessible to Didact customers, visitors and associates with its refitting services available by appointment. Said appointment is linked to ship ID and captain records.
- Description: The Shaltin Shipyards are a moderately-sized shipyards focused on the refitting, repair and construction of sub-capital starships. Most of the upgrades went into automating many of its processes to minimize the organic footprint within the yards' crew and labor forces. It is based on the ancient XQ-X platforms constructed centuries ago and still retains most of the aesthetic choices.

- Hangar bays: Holds the fighter squadrons that defend the station, has enough space for raw materials coming in, supporting visitors and elaborate storage.
- Yards: Highly automated construction and refitting yards, there are three of them in total. Either each one works on a single ship at max capacity or they can work on smaller ships at the same time.
- Manufacturing facilities: To bolster the production surface-side a portion of the station has been designed with the manufacturing of droids in mind.
With the recent acquisition of a competing droid company within the Corporate Sector came Shaltin Shipyards as one of the corporate assets gained. It was named after the Shaltin Tunnels, a busy hyperlane, nearby the world of Tothis. Mostly because in recent years it was plagued by pirate incursions, which in turn ensured that the shipyards over Tothis always had steady clientele who needed their ships repaired after a run-in.
With Didact's acquisition of the shipyards more capital flowed in to expand the yards and make them more effective in their field.
Expanded hangar bays and yards ensure that they are ready to accept more clients at once. At the same time the recent upgrades in the manufacturing facilities ensure that they are quite capable of producing more droids and other tech for the private military corporation.
It is assumed that Shaltin Shipyards is only the first step into a larger expansion into space for Didact Defense Solutions.
