Shadows of Saleucami

.:Saleucami:.

Capitol City

Nose-twitched. Golden-lime gaze peered from the shadows down at the busy tavern, below. It was a simple mission: stay hidden, scout, and report back on any sith activity on the border-planet. A mission they thought a teen of the Jedi Order would have no problem completing.

The Nagai-Firrerreo helped break Zane Watts out of prison. It’s about time they gave her more responsibility than mop-duty in the kitchen. Shifting on the rafters, gaze panned and stayed on a table in the corner, catching the unmistakable glint of a lightsaber hilt beneath a shifting cloak of a bearded-patron. There were others at the table, too, and it looked like more than alcohol was being exchanged.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
~~~
" ... KILL KILL KILL KILL!"
Piraiba could faintly hear the roars of the crowd. His head was so groggy and his ears were ringing. A mixture of blood and dirt dripped from his mouth as he slowly pushed himself up from the ground to his hands and knees.
He had blood stained dirt underneath his hands. The sight of this made it all start to come back to him. He was in an underworld gladiator arena. Its old decaying pit walls stood high around him like a sadistic prison. Piraiba had fought hard, but the odds were made impossible this day to insure that he didn't survive. It was a punishment for what he had done.
There Piraiba's executioner stood in front of him. It was a fellow gladiator left from among the many corpses of his comrades. The vibroaxe rose into the air. The crowd's roaring overpowered what little sense of hearing he could muster. He had to move, he had to do something, but his arms were like lead from exhaustion and blood loss.
Then Piraiba heard a sound that he had never heard before. It was like an electrical snapping and then hiss. A scream followed as his executioner fell dead to the ground in front of him. He looked up to see an armored figure standing above him with a sword made of pure light and an outstretched hand to help him up. The crowd was going wild with a mixture of panic and outrage. Yet Piraiba couldn't help but to notice the massive rusting gates opening on the far wall with a Rancor beginning to emerge from them. It was the insurance policy in case the gladiators had failed to kill him.
"Watch out," verbalized Piraiba weakly.
The mysterious armored figure turned and threw his free hand forward towards the opening gates. Piraiba had to squint his eyes to shield against the blinding light of the lightning bolt that the man threw at the Rancor. The beast was dead almost instantly. What matter of weapon could be carried by hand that could do that?!
"Who ... who are ..."
~~~

"Wake up idiot!"

One of the tavern patrons that the Nagai-Firrerreo had been observing walked over to the bar from his table and then forcefully kicked the stool out from beneath something large that appeared to have been sleeping there. The large figure that had been on the bar stool crashed to the floor, which awoke it abruptly from its sleep.

It looked up and seemed to recognize the man that woke it, and jumped to its feet. Ellifain could then clearly see that it was a Togorian and a massive one at that. At ten feet tall the feline nearly doubled over the height of the one that woke it. Interestingly enough the black furred cat wore a Mandalorian plate armor vest, and a tattered brown cloak which poorly half hid a couple blasters and lightsaber hilts attached to his vest.

The Togorian grabbed the smaller man by the throat and threw him like a rag doll into the nearby table of the other robed patrons she had been observing. The table's legs instantly broke under the pressure causing it to crash to the ground. The other three robed figures then jumped to their feet before brandishing and activated red hued lightsabers.

"YOU DARE TO PUSH PIRAIBA AROUND?! PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE," roared the Togorian in a deep demonic voice. Piraiba then activated his own silver/white colored lightsabers in both hands before lowering into a defensive fighting stance.

The place quickly turned into a crapshoot, much, much worse than that one time on Zeltos. Multiple lightsabers sprang to life in the dingy-lit space, multi-colored glows mixing with the fear and anger on the patrons’ faces. Golden-lime eyes widened as the furniture was invisibly lifted into the air and thrown at the Togorian.

And happened to be headed straight toward the hidden scout.

Eeeeeep.

Spinning lightly on the rafters, a rogue chair splintered against the banister. Body tipped, knocked off balance. Lithe fingers grabbed at the beam as she tipped over, trying to control her position so she could at least land on her feet.

Instead of finding the ground, her feet found something else, the cloak and body of the bearded-man fighting the Togorian with his posse. With surprising speed, the off-balance sith grabbed the petite-girl and threw her into the big, angry kitty. Her own force-signature spiked and swirled, flickering like a black candle.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
@[member="Ellifain Verrona"]

Piraiba was a Sith Knight, and Sith were by nature very dirty fighters. However, the Togorian was especially dirty considering his underground fighting background and who his mentor had been. One of the three other Sith foolishly lounged at him, and the feline batted away the mans lightsaber with relative ease before sending his knee into the mans face. A small stream of blood expelled from the man's crushed nose and face as he fell backwards to the ground instantly dead from the force of Piraiba's attack. The Togorian was literally a metric ton of dense bone, muscle, and armor. The strength of his kick had broken the Sith's neck in one fluid movement.

This caused the other two Sith to pause and rethink their strategy. A fraction of a moment later they began to fling every piece of furniture they could get their will upon. Naturally the Tavern was quickly emptying out as some of even the hardest criminals didn't want to get between a battle of lightsabers and the force. An apprentice might have tried to cut the furniture apart with his saber and then get coincidentally impaled by a stake of wood from a table rather than dodging altogether. Piraiba on the other hand had different advantages. He merely laughed while disabling his lightsabers and tucking his arms in to shield his face like a boxer would. His bone density was strong enough for his arms and legs to withstand the attacks, and his armor plated vest made his vitals immune. The Togorian grunted and took a step back from the impacts, but otherwise he held his ground. He even released a defensive concussive blast of force energy in a 360 degree radius around him to throw his opponents off balance and to send the furniture flying in all directions.

Enter Ellifain...

The concussion blast had momentarily knocked the Sith fighters off balance, but it was the mysterious woman dropping from the ceiling onto the group's leader that really took them by surprise. Admittedly Piraiba would have had as little concern for a flying person as he would have had for a flying table. However, he recognized something about the girl that made his eyes widen as she was flung forcibly at him by the bearded Sith.

Those ears ...

Piraiba acted without thinking and did something that few Sith would get caught doing. He opened his arms from shielding himself and caught her. Then on instinct, the Togorian closed one arm around the Nagai-Firrerreo and turned away to shield her with the side of his body. Most of the furniture bounced off without much notice, but one bit of chair managed to ping him on the back of the head which made the Togorian grunt and fall to a knee.

The elf girl was released then, but only because Piraiba stood and just barely managed to catch the hand of one of the Sith who had come forward to try and run them through with his saber. Ironically Ellifain wanted more responsibility from the Jedi Order, and nothing threw a young girl into the cold dark reality of the galaxy quite like seeing a ten foot tall cat overpowering a full grown man and running him through with the man's own saber despite his screams right in front of her.

"STOP YOU FOOL," roared the bearded Sith. He would have been alone now if it wasn't for one other Sith out of the four finally rising from the table Piraiba had thrown him into at the beginning of the fight. "You idiot, she's a Jedi spy! I can sense her sensitivity! GET HER!"

The second recently recovered man quickly moved to the side to cut off her escape path to the nearby exit. Piraiba looked back at her unsure of what to think or do.

It was probably foolish to instantly trust a ten-foot feline.

But she did. Elli didn’t usually operate in the norm.

Heart thundered in her small chest as the sith’s accusations verbally slammed into her pointed-ears. She made no move to run for the door. Golden-lime gaze remained tilted up, not leaving the Togorian. Dagger-hilt slipped into her fingers and her eyes twitched just beyond Piraiba’s shoulder at the bearded-leader. With a swift-flick of her wrist, the Nagai-crafted blade sailed through the air and was quickly blocked.

But he didn’t see the second one coming. It sunk into the flesh of his lightsaber wielding hand. A snarl of rage left the man’s throat. “I will kill you myself, girl. Slowly!”

A credit-sized smoke bomb was already in her fingers as she slammed it on the roughed-up tavern-floor. Small-fingers entwined around one of Piraiba’s large and deadly digits. She winced as the vision hit her but not enough to knock her out. Eyes blurred for a moment before snapping back into focus. The young-prophet spoke quickly to the giant warrior.

More are coming. If we don’t go now, we won’t make it. I don’t like this game anymore,” a seemingly out-of-place whimsical smile briefly flashed over the teen’s features. “And your head looks bad; you need some magical dust.” Yes, there was already a ‘we’ implied. The smoke wouldn’t last long and the one guarding the door as well as the leader were closing in.

Along with the others.

The Togorian's emerald green eyes locked onto her golden lime eyes and widened further in bewilderment. By all accounts he should have grabbed her and held her down for capture.

"You are jedi?"

The tone implied that it was a question, but everything happened so quickly that he didn't have time to think or to converse with her. Time seemed to slow down as the girl released her two daggers, filled the room with smoke, grabbed him by the finger, and then urged him to move. Something snapped into place then and the Togorian finally let go of calculation and moved on impulse. He pulled his claw adorned finger from her hand and pushed another similarly sized cylindrical object into it instead. It was the deactivated red lightsaber that the feline had taken from one of the Sith just prior.

"Go! Piraiba will protect you!"

Several extremely loud cracks of gunfire suddenly resounded through the room from what must have been a high caliber slug thrower from somewhere near the bar. It was likely that the bartender had come back to clear out his tavern forcefully. Multiple slug projectiles whizzed through the air and smoke around them. A scream could be heard up ahead and the dim outline of a lightsaber through the smoke fell to the ground. The Sith who was guarding the door had taken one of the slugs. It was almost impossible to deflect one, and having a room full of smoke made it that much more impossible.

@[member="Piraiba"]

Cringing, the midnight, green-streaked haired girl ducked but not before placing her free hand strongly on the feline’s arm. Her fingers barely covered a quarter of his haired-muscle. “I’ll wait for you. Be careful.”

It was silly that a petite-teen felt as though she had to protect a ten-foot warrior. But she did. Duh.

“And I’m not a jedi…exactly,” releasing his arm, fingers tightened around the foreign lightsaber hilt. Giving one last nod to her new friend, she disappeared into the already-clearing smoke, light feet carrying her quickly to the door. A squad of sith troopers rounded the corner as she climbed the roof within the cover of the planet’s midnight air.

It didn’t take long for her to see that the big kitty would be trapped. Crinkling her button nose, she flipped on the lightsaber hilt, the red-blade snapping through the darkness like a flashing beacon. “Hey, up here big meanies!”

Two jumped onto the roof as Elli shuffled backwards on the connecting roofs of the city.

Snarf-gunderstorn. They were fast.

The red saber swung awkwardly. She was never good at these things. Whimsical smile stayed on her face as they followed her. Smile faltered as she saw she was running out of roof.

The clearing smoke made it hard for the two of them to see each other, but that didn't stop Piraiba from seeing something he had never seen before. Compassion? The cat had seen plenty of anger, hatred, lust, and sadness. Kindness was rare though it could be found. Compassion however was a very foreign emotion. His mouth fell open slightly as he stared at Ellifain at a loss for words. Piraiba wasn't able to manifest a reply before the girl turned and exited the tavern.

The Sith Knight quickly pushed her from his thoughts. There was a bartender that had fired multiple rounds of slugs into the room that needed to be neutralized. Yet Piraiba found himself alone in the room when the smoke finished settling moments later. The tavern patrons had all fled the scene when the fight first broke out. Three of the four Sith were killed at Piraiba's own hands. The bartender was dead by the bar. He was likely silenced by the bearded Sith leader on the man's way out.

The adrenalin was starting to wear off. The Togorian could feel a cold sensation in his side, and wetness on his skin down his leg. He didn't need to look to know that he was wounded and losing blood. Still he could sense the presence of others. There was no time to curl up to lick his wounds.

A roar was released as the Togorian fought to regenerate some of his adrenalin before charging for the tavern's door with both of his white saber blades ignited. Coincidentally he hit the exit just as the Sith troopers were starting to enter. Screams followed as a couple of the troopers tried to back pedal away while firing their blasters madly with little regard for friendly fire. Piraiba was a large target, but he moved like a whirlwind, literally cutting soldiers completely in half with his overpowered swings. They didn't stand a chance.

As the last body hit the ground, the cat looked around only to fail to spot the elf girl anywhere. She must have exited the area. He deactivated his sabers so that the soft humming sound they made wouldn't interfere with his sensitive feline hearing. Things tended to quiet down and faces became rare when Sith troopers were lurking about with blasters. This might have been the only thing that allowed all of the ambient background noise to lower enough for him to hear blaster fire coming from a nearby roof.

Piraiba moved without further thought as he grabbed a trooper's rifle, stuck it between his teeth, and scaled the nearby wall.

Sloppily blocking a blue stun bolt, the young teen wavered on the edge of the roof. Arms flailed and she pitched herself forward, trying not to get distracted of why they wanted her alive and what they would do to her if they succeeded. She just hoped Piraiba got away. Peeking over the trooper's shoulder she spotted the feline's familiar shape backlit by the moon. So did the second trooper on the roof.

"No!" Her scream cut through the night as the lit saber was flung from her fingers at the trooper nearest her. He yelped and fell from the roof as the blade took off one of his legs at the knee. The saber followed him down.

With surprising speed she left to attack the back of the remaining trooper who had his sights on Piraiba with a growl of her own that even the big cat would appreciate. Unfortunately, he was the most skilled and expected the girl. His attention split for a second. Bones in her face crunched as the butt of his blaster met with her pale flesh. Head reeled as blood dripped across her vision, her precarious balance being challenged once again.

No, no, no, no, no....

Piraiba

Piraiba hit the roof at a run. The kind of run where a Togorian slammed both feet and hands down on the roof, and surged forward in great leaping predator feline-esque strides. He may have been 800 pounds, but he moved across the roof faster than any human could have hoped to. He watched the elf girl dispatch the first trooper, but the second trooper had taken her by surprise.

The melee attack had the trooper had planted in her face had off centered the Nagai-Ferrerreo enough to make her fall. There was no way the Sith Knight could have gotten to her in time to stop it. Piraiba acted on impulse as he kept running forward and slammed into the second trooper. The impact knocked the man off of the roof right before the feline threw himself after Ellifain. He caught the elf girl in mid air, pulling her close to his chest, and then turned his body at the last moment to hit the alley below with his back.

The cat collided with the pavement with a loud jarring clank as heavy mandalorian iron hit it like a hammer. The sudden halt in momentum made his head fall back hard onto the stone as well. Piraiba released Ellifain, but remained on the ground dazed with an audible groan.

"You women always get me into trouble..."

@[member="Piraiba"]

She could feel the impact through Piraiba's body and it took her a moment to realize her eyes were still squeezed closed. Even though he released her, her lithe form remained perched on his chest. Golden-lime eyes finally opened, catching the moonlight as they looked up into the kitty's fierce face.

"You know more than one female Nagai-Firrerreo?" Whimsical smile was back on her busted-face. But the bones were already healing on their own. Yay Firrerreo genes.

Gingerly climbing off his armor-plated chest, she knelt by his side, fingers pressing firmly on his shoulder, guessing he would want to sit up. "Wait," she warned, "your head looks bad. Let me take a look."

In true Elli style, she knelt over his head without permission, grabbing a pouch of bacta mixed from her pouch.

The magical dust.

Small hands began working the substance gently into his wounds, locks of midnight hair hanging down that would probably tickle his nose. "I'm Elli by the way. Why were you with those bullies?"

Piraiba

@Ellifain Verrona

However, Piraiba did not fight against her to try and sit up. His body was coming to rest, dropping his adrenalin levels, and making him very much aware of his blood loss. Instead the Togorian just closed his eyes as she inspected and started to work on him. That was until her hair tickled his nose, which made him wiggle it and move his head slightly. This also made the feline very much aware of her scent. It was an intriguing smell he hadn't quite experienced before.

"I knew one with your ears. She smelled different though. Maybe not Naga-Ferro?"

Then suddenly the cat's senses kicked in as he looked up at the unconscious or dead body of the trooper he had knocked off of the roof just prior to their fall. No one else was around so they were safe for the moment. They still needed to get out of the open though.

Naturally Piraiba was able to easily overcome Ellifain's counter weight against him as he sat up. Then the feline slowly pushed himself up to his feet slightly woozy from being lightheaded.

"I am called Piraiba Relens, and I was an even bigger bully than they."

The elf girl could see that the massive warrior now had a limp since she last saw him in the tavern. Blood trickled lightly down the Sith Knight's right leg as he moved a bit down the alley looking for something. It didn't take long for him to spot an old rusted door that he was able to easily dispatch with one brutal kick. Past the door was part of a warehouse that seemed to have been abandoned for some time. Piraiba started to make his way inside while reaching up to fiddle with his armor.

The Mandalorian plates and the under armor mesh that held them together crashed to the floor with a loud racket that echoed throughout the room. This exposed the Togorian's dark gray with black stripes fur and a myriad of deep scars that parted the hairs here and there. Most noticeable however was the open wound he was fingering near his hip where a rifle slug had torn into him right underneath where an armor plate had been.

"Took fire ... did not hit bone. Can you patch Piraiba?"

@[member="Piraiba"]

"Relens," a rare-frown crept over shimmering lips. The name stuck out like a familiar beacon to her foggy past but the couldn't quite place it. Perhaps it was nothing. Trailing silently behind Piraiba, keen-gaze swept over their temporary sanctuary as she entered.

Exits, strong points, weak points, and potential weapons and threats. The scout saw them all. Spotting a rusty chair, she tipped her chin toward it.

"I'm no healer but I have some specialized bacta. Sit and I'll take a look. Is the bullet still in there? And here," digging into her pocket, she brought out some bright and multicolored pieces of food that looked suspiciously like candy. "Eating these will make the pain a little more bearable. You might get sleepy and feel -uh- a little detached."

She decided to leave out the part about possibly hallucinating. In addition to pain killer, the 'candy' held trace amounts of spice. She felt guilty about his leg and...worried, no, concerned. He was still losing blood and that wasn't a good sign. All because of her.

"Why did you do it?" Voice was quiet, golden-lime eyes drifted up, looking intently into the warrior's face.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
[Hope you had a good turkey day!]

The Togorian eyed the candy like substance she pulled out of her pocket and then he shook his head while adding a dismissive wave of his over sized clawed hand.

"Sleep? No, Piraiba will keep his ... how did he say ... yes wits. The bullet is gone. I am still here," added the creature with a bit of groan as he bent down to turn the chair right side up. The feline seemed to have problems with his speech. At times he would speak properly, and then at others he would lapse back to multiple grammatical errors as if he had a half education on the subject.

Never the less he did as he was commanded. The creature slowly perched down on the chair while extending a leg out and leaning sideways so that his wound was exposed to her. Yet her final question made the feline's face frown as if she made him ponder on things that had been temporarily forgotten. In turn he looked down on her with a much less intent gaze given the blood loss.

"Do it? You say you are not Jedi exactly? Piraiba is Sith. Why did Elli do it?" The Togorian's voice was a deep bass filled sound that could fill a room and make everyone look for the source. Only now as she had been quiet with her last question, Piraiba also gave his best attempt at speaking softly. Even a whisper however was still quite audible.

Piraiba's weapons were sitting several feet away near his discarded armor. Here sat a Sith Knight wounded and by tactical standards, defenseless. Though likely the beast didn't need his weapons when he was this close.

@[member="Piraiba"]

(It was refreshing! hope you had a good one too)

With a shrug of her bony-shoulders, she stuffed the 'candy' back in her pocket. He was either really brave, stupid, or extremely stubborn. Finally she broke his gaze and knelt on the floor, next to his form which still towered even in a seated position. Gently, fingertips began rubbing the bacta treatment into his matted fur, sporting the wound.

The gel would sanitize and begin to clot and heal the worst of it.

If she was scared at being this close to the feline warrior, she didn't show it. Wiping his blood on her pants, she stood slowly now just a hair short of being eye-level with the sith knight thanks to the chair.

"A lot of people don't understand me," she winced, remembering when Skyler first brought her to the Republic. It had always been just him and Jaxton. The others were always suspicious, watching. "They call me a dark jedi," her force signature ebbed and swayed as if to prove a point. "But I feel like I know you and for the first time I don't have to prove anything. I feel safe."

A bell-like laugh left her shimmering lips. "I know it's silly."

"Did you know them? The other sith at the tavern?" Spitting on the sleeve of her shirt, she began to gently dab it against her face to wipe off the dried blood from her now healed broken nose.

The suspense of the moment and the tension from the Togorian's face seemed to slowly fade away. The cat's emerald green eyes drifted up towards the ceiling as he seemed to reminisce on the past.

"Piraiba was a slave once." Slowly the creature impulsively ran his left hand over the slaver mark branded roughly into his right bicep years ago. Then he looked down and gently tapped his Dark Jedi companion on one of her pointed ears.

"There was a little girl with these ears who also was a slave. She was called Kitsu. Most women were for love making. That was a reward for a good fight in the arena. Kitsu was little and precious like little sister. Piraiba protected her until she was sold one day, and was never seen again."

The story seemed to be hard for the Togorian to part with. The massive warrior could take a high caliber slug and multiple beatings without a tear, but this story made the creature close his eyes tightly for a few moments as he composed himself. There were likely things he was suddenly remembering that he wasn't disclosing.

However, slowly the Togorian began to speak again. "I knew the Sith. They poke fun at Piraiba for failing his last mission. Finally Piraiba had enough and decided to show them he was still the top cat. That was until a Kitsu fell from the ceiling and landed in his lap. Now you know why Piraiba kill his brothers."

To him it was enough of a reason to kill his brothers and even fling himself off of a building to catch her. Yet he seemed conflicted about something as he reached down to inspect the newly patched up wound on his side.

"What does Dark Jedi mean? I joined the Sith to find Piraiba's father. He said he had been a great Sith Lord once. Only father was nowhere to be seen. The Sith are not so bad though. They love killing, drugs, and sex. Jedi hate these things and live boring lives. Piraiba enjoys killing, living, and loving. What does a Dark Jedi love?"

Piraiba looked at her expectantly. He had a look in his eyes that a child might have had when hungering to learn something. As big as he was, and as fierce as he fought, Piraiba had been isolated from civilization for his whole life.

Usually happy gaze dimmed at the mention of slave. She too, knew what it was like, even for a short time among the hutts. With a blank mind, that was where her past had started, scared and alone in a hutt’s chamber with a mind foggier than an ocean’s surface on a cold-winter morning.

Face now mostly clean, rapt-attention was still focused on the feline. “You must like to fight a lot,” she observed, fingers hesitating before lightly tracing the outline of one of his old scars before pulling her pale-hand away. “Unless they were from…before.”

She didn’t want to talk about slavery anymore.

His curiosity quickly brought her back to a lighter mood. The bubble of laughter left her throat again as he talked about what sith liked. “Wellll,” skipping around to a table opposite him, she hoisted herself lightly-up, swinging her feet which failed to touch the ground, facing Piraiba. “I’ve never met another dark jedi before but I can tell you what I like. I like to travel and explore places, learn new things, meet new people, play with the animals, and eat, and….did you know there are things called apples and juju beans and choco-cups,” eyes twinkled and she beamed before stopping. Stomach rumbled with all the talk about food.

“But they say dark jedi can’t be trusted because we use the darkside,” button-nose crinkled and small shoulders shrugged. “I use both, the lightside and darkside. But I don’t like hurting people with it, only if-if, I’m in trouble.”

A small tremble ran through her lithe-form before curiosity ticked in her own eyes. “Are you still looking for your daddy?”

The Togorian looked back at the lithe Nagai-Firrerreo as she traced the lining of one of his scars. They were more pronounced then they might have been on a human given that fur didn't grow back over scar tissue.

"Some were before, but some were after. Piraiba can not remember when he started to enjoy fighting. First it was to survive, but eventually it became a thrill. They call it adrenaline I think." The feline frowned for a moment as if confused by whether or not that was the correct word. Then he smiled as he confirmed it for himself in his mind.

Slowly the cat pushed himself up to his feet as she skipped back and slid onto a nearby table. Piraiba gave a soft groan as he bent over and picked up his discarded armor to inspect it.

"Piraiba ... uh ... I have tried some of these things. Prefer meats though," added the cat as he seemed to slow down to think out his words more carefully. Then he began to strap his heavy plate armor back on as Ellifain explained a Dark Jedi to him a bit more. He seemed to accept her words, but the last question did make him hesitate.

"Piraiba misses his father, but maybe father left me so I would be strong." The Togorian looked down and slowly bent once more to pick up one of his light sabers that had fallen onto the ground. "Father had said that one could use the darkside, and the lightside, but could never master both because they ... uh ... oppose? Father could destroy things in ways Piraiba never could have imagined. He said he could not heal flesh very well at all because of it. The Jedi must treat you like an outcast. Why does Elli stay?"

The Togorian moved to the doorway to peek outside through the crack of the barely opened door he had kicked in not very long prior.

"One Sith got away to report back. We must leave soon."

@[member="Piraiba"]

Of course he would prefer meats!

Hooking her knees on the end of the table, she let herself fall back on its surface with a light-thud, tipping her head back slightly so she could follow Piraiba as he moved behind her to check the door. “Your father sounds like someone very powerful and someone very serious. What was his name? Maybe I’ve run into him in my travels…” although she imagined she would remember someone like that.

“And I stay because I have friends there: Skyler, Jaxton.” Of course, she hadn’t seen them in a while, missions and other jedi duties keeping them away. “And-I…don’t really have anywhere else to go. They keep me safe from the Hutts.”

Ironic thing to say considering the situation she was currently in.

Midnight hair dangled past her head as she remained in the half-upside down position. “What about you, why do you stay if it’s so easy to kill your friends?”

"Vascious Relens," replied the feline softly. He had a great respect for the name.

"Father said his name had meant something back before some plague he said had ravaged the galaxy some time ago. I can't find any traces of him anywhere. He found me, freed me from the arena, and then showed me how to fight his way. He was big for a human, so his ways were easier for Piraiba to learn. Of course the greatest gift father gave was a name."

Then something the girl said triggered a sudden and loud obnoxious laugh. "Friends?! I said I knew them. The Sith in the bar weren't worthy to be Piraiba's friends. I did have friends though. Sable and Sven were an odd couple for Sith, but Piraiba enjoyed their company. They are probably dead now. Piraiba has not seen them for some time. Then again RC might still be alive. RC was a good Mandalorian brother to Piraiba."

The Togorian turned his head back to regard the elf girl. She was rewarded by a slight reaction of surprise when he noticed how she was laying on top of the table.
