The Story In a spot almost outside the galaxy far from the hustle and bustle of the galaxy's core is the newly formed nation of the United Systems of Antecedent. A nation thriving from industry, rare materials, and fair democratic rule. Where everyone gets a chance and nobody is forgotten. But if only any of that were true. On the outside the government and people are now mostly rid of crime however the infamous Black Tie Syndicate are the true rulers of this planet and have spawned a puppet government to do what they please and give them free reign over the nation. Crime still happens where they see fit and most of it goes unreported and unpunished, and this has prompted the rise of a new form of Justice. This has prompted the rise of vigilantes looking to root out and remove the syndicate from their new nation, but even they don't know how far down the rabbit hole this goes. What starts as simple vigilantes trying to do the right thing may possibly shake the young galactic power to its core and change everything.
The Details
This story will divulge into many different aspects of vigilantism and "superheroes" and their need in this futuristic society. It will ask the questions of is it right? Is it wrong? Is taking the law into your own hands the best course of action? And if the system has truly failed then why fight for change when only chaos can come of it? Should we be complacent with living in crime and fear? This story will delve into these questions and many more throughout its multiple arcs. From raids on criminal warehouses, to some good old fashion batman inspired street fights. We aren't looking to create a type of setting where people are flying and slinging from webs, we want a more realistic form of vigilante in a dark, gritty, and well you know it was coming, Tarantino type fashion of ultra violent fight scenes, swearing, and adult themes that will make for a more jarring and intense story. We don't want Marvel's plucky gang of quirky and funny murderers, we want to ask and answer those questions that comics have asked over their existence.
Make a vigilante or be one. Put on a costume and a mask and hit the streets of Antecedent. Or join the Black Tie Syndicate and fight to maintain its hold on the systems. The idea is to have fun over what is going to be a tale of separate issues featuring multiple character aspects and views over its main overarching plot of either crushing the rise of the superhero or the beating of the Syndicate. We want to make this a fun experience for everyone and ensure that the community can share in this whether you are a member of the faction or not.
