After Kiso's operation to replace damaged body parts with cybernetic she showed an interest in putting her new assets to maximum use on the battle field. In turn she went to work with her mentor to create a scanner with the ability to syn up and cooperate with her cybernetic enhancements, with the goal to never be at the end of an unsuspecting attack again. Similar with her combat cape, several version were made encase of one being damaged or failing to meet the expectations. During testing the SES-01 performed admarrly giving much more situational awareness, and rarely being disabled with only military standard EMP's shutting it down. As such several blank modals were left unused and were thus modified so people could customize them regular.
