Description:

The Guard Shoto (also known as the 'Lightsaber Tonfa') is a weapon that excels in defensive maneuverings, and allows very fast movement. The only 'Canon' users of this weapon includes Maris Brood, and Sinya. The offensive stats of this weapon has been greatly reduced in comparison to it's normal counterpart, the Shoto.

The point of this guard shoto is to provide a lighter weapon than a traditional lightsaber, and a one-handed defensive option. It could be used for offensive moves however will not be as effective neither as aggressive in comparison to the measures of a standard lightsaber. This shoto can be used to deflect shots by twirling it on either his backside or his front side, or even guard his arm and many other body parts with a simple flick. The reach and utility the weapon offers excels in many ways.

By swinging this weapon beside the arm, one can create a physical 'shield', if they could swing it fast enough. The weapon still proves to follow extremely quick movements such as jabs, slashes and twirls. The defensive maneuvers available, being better, help the user cover every part around him. Blaster bolts are not difficult to deflect with this weapon, however attacking with the guard shoto proves nearly inefficient. It could be used for stabs, feigns and tricks, however in reality this weapon could not easily create a mortal or fatal wound on any opponent without strenuous injury or damage built upon the arms of the user.

Strengths:
- Great defensive
- Fast, super light
- Durable, Phrik alloy

Weaknesses:
- Does not work well with any offensive forms, primarily used for defensive forms such as Soresu
- Very difficult to accomplish moves
- Potential grip issues
- Potential to harm yourself due to the plasma beam pointing towards the body more often than out

Crystals:
Standard

This is not a true statement. As a lightsaber, a simple jab in the chest or stomach region would be potentially fatal.
I shall edit it. I guess the statement was sort of unclear. I meant it would be very difficult controlling it, and to make a fatal blow would cause strenuous injuries. I will also add the fact that there is a potential chance of injuring yourself easier in comparison to normal sabers, due to the plasma pointing towards the body more often than out.
