System Features: There isn’t too much to see in the Shar system aside from the planet of Selvetarm and its spectacular four moons. What sets these moons apart from anything else in the galaxy is their unique orbital positioning around the planet. Unlike most terrestrial worlds, Selvetarm’s gravity well stretches much farther from its atmosphere than usual due to its mass. This extra gravity has allowed the planet to grip onto three moons much farther from its surface than what is usually seen; while a fourth moon sits in a comfortable range much more similar to your standard terrestrial planet.
This is not all that draws visitors, however. The three farthest moons; Cypher, Ciax and Ciri are all orbiting in a very peculiar triangle shape around Selvetarm . This odd orbital pattern is a mysterious sight when far from the planet, giving the small planetary system the appearance of a pyramid with Selvetarm and its fourth moon, Calos, in the center.
However, seeing this spectacle is much more difficult than one might imagine. Separating the planet and its moons is an asteroid belt created by a long forgotten impact of an asteroid on the surface of Calos. This orbiting field of natural debris, while beautiful, makes it extremely difficult for pilots to effectively navigate when in the planet’s gravity well.

ue to being located out in the far reaches of the Unknown Regions, Selvetarm is completely self sufficient, which may surprise some considering its Arid surface.Major Exports: Same as with importing due to being located in the far Unknown Regions nothing is exported though Selvetarm does have a large supply of Xeonian Crystals, which can be used as power sources as well as a multitude of gems and jewels. Ores and metals can also be mined on Selvetarm as well such as Xillion and Vinrillium.

Kiran: Kiran is the capital city on the surface of the planet which is the main area that members from the other capitals gather to trade and peddle their goods. Most of the people who live in Kiran live in great wealth as this is where the major traders of Selvetarm gather. Yet there is poverty as young and old wander the streets in rags while being so thin that their bones can be seen from beneath their skin. Kiran is a dangerous place for one to live as on the surface of the planet there are constant sandstorms that make it near impossible for one to see during such events, but they last for days at a time.
Viririma: Viririma is the city that is filled with the middle-class and poverty of Selvetarm where they're main source of income is working the mines for any jewels or gems they can harvest or hunting the subterranean creatures to sell to the citizens of Kiran. Viririma is a five day march from Kiran and at least a days journey by speeder if one does not rest. One could travel from Viririma to Xeonia, though it is not recommended due to the large amount of creatures that inhabit the subterranean layers of the planet. As well as it being near a half month trip on foot and close to a three days journey if no breaks are taken. Most of the citizens of Viririma hate Xeonia and a ongoing rebellion has been growing inside the city.
Xeonia: Xeonia where only the truly wealthy of Selvetarm can afford to live. Life in this city is luxurious even for the slaves as Xeonia is the city where the Xeonian Crystals are harvested and re-purposed to be used in the technology created on Selvetarm though its usually only for weapons. Xeonia stretches for leagues in all directions just like the other capitals of Selvetarm. A large portion of the soldiers of Selvetarm are housed in Xeonia where they are put to use in the caves gathering ores, gems, and Xeonian crystals. Xeonia isn't the only place the crystals can be found in abundance, but the city has a monopoly on all the mines near them where they harvest large amounts.
Culture: Selvetarm at one point had been an Oligarchy where certain families were in charge of different cities, and wars were constantly waged between the three major Xela'Dorn families, deceit, and assassination became major staples to most Xela'Dorn which has effected the members even of today making them seem incredibly paranoid or hard to trust. Religion is put above all else on Selvetarm as they worship a Patheon of gods. One being the Goddess Cypher who is the god of passion who promotes for her worshipers to give into their primal urges and gives strength to her followers. Ciax, The god of justice who judges those he finds unworthy, and upholds the rights of the meek . Ciri, The goddess of Neutrality, her followers are ones that just go with the flow as there is no point in trying to intervene with fate. The moons are of course named after these Gods, but the center moon Calos is named after the Calos family which had risen to the challenge and took the throne forcing the other families to their knees and making them obey.
For entertainment there is a tournament held in the city Kiran every year. Usually the poverty ridden or commonwealth are the ones competing to win the large reward. The sad part is that there are no true laws to the city so murder and thievery are permitted so long as one isn't caught in the act. If caught the Xela'Down will be sentenced to death. Due to the lack of force users no true cults, or religions were made leaving no training for the ones who had the ability to use the force.
Technology: Selvetarm when compared to the rest of the galaxy is behind in some regards such as a lack of droids, but make up for it by being advanced in areas such as weaponry, and other forms of engineering.
History: The history of Selvetarm is one that has been paved in blood. The planet from the beginning was home to the Xela'dorn who lived beneath the surface of the planet in numerous cities and constantly waging war against each other constantly with no care for the lower classes except for their uses as fodder in their battles. The three great families each named after the three gods of the Xela'dorn religion constantly fought over land and the Xeonian gems that the planet was known for. These were known as the Dark years, and they lasted for hundreds of years as the feud never seemed to end between the families. Xeonia was the center of these wars, and at one point or another all the families did have control of the city but were easily usurped.
What led to a change was the converging of bloodlines overtime as two starcrossed lovers from different families came together and ran off to together where they took up the name Calos and gave birth to their own children. Tiring of the constant wars between the families they gathered the support of the poverty and commonwealth giving them something to fight for, giving them a chance to rise up against the wealthy. Taking this chance the Calos family easily over took the other families with the large amount of support they had behind them. First they claimed Xeonian for themselves, then they spread outwards forcing their influence all across Selvetarm. It took over thirty years of constant fighting but finally the Calos family stood victorious and claimed themselves as the ruling family and disbanding the others leaving them as nothing but memories to be forgotten in the sands of time.
During these years Selveterm seemed to be on the rise as the poverty slowly began to disperse and even the commonwealth were doing better. That was until a space freighter crashed onto the planet with a cargo hold of spice, weapons, and worse of all humans. The humans automatically began to make their mark on the planet using their weapons to wage war on the Xela'Dorn. Lasting for a few decades the humans had the upperhand on the Xela'Dorn but that was till they began to create weapons of their own based off the ones the humans had brought with them and used their own Xeonian gems as the power sources. They took the war back to the humans and it became a slaughter as the men, women and even children were killed to ensure that such a thing couldn't happen again. The population of the planet has suffered greatly especially when the Gulag plague struck with over half the population dying. To this day Selveterm has been secluded, but as the newest ascendant to the throne claims the crown he has ambitions to make the Xela'Dorn known to the galaxy. Recently they have loss another large percentage of their population as members of the Xela'Dun race mysteriously vanished.
