Seeing Star [The Merc who Needs Phrik]

[member="Stardust"]

As the mountains loomed ahead of them Camellia merely chuckled at Stardust's remarks on politics. She couldn't really disagree that governments could be indecisive. "I suppose that's a benefit to the Sith taking over and somehow becoming Governor. I can get things done. The Arch-Provost is much happier with hi-her current position as my aide. She's a big help in getting through the planetary affairs while I take a more hands on with the economics of our shipyards." Grinning at her own slip not many would notice, the Rendili woman moved back and held onto the support as the shuttle buffered a little coming to stop over the windy range.

"We can have the mining crew's chief pick out the best vein for you. She has a very discerning eye." As the shuttle touched down, the Rendili wondered if they ought to stop the idea of clients picking the ore. It didn't seem like a really inspiring gimmick.

Oh fun with take over on this planet can't say I like them I mean just a Merc is all going about screwing up whatever I'm paid to screw up do my job without question....OK that's a lie I do question sometimes ...moral thing"she said as the ship rocked she wobbled back and forth she simply stood still and moved with the ship and smiled

That would be perfect the best vein"she said as she waited for the door to open

Camellia wasn't about to try and question a Mercenary's lifestyle. Especially the lifestyle of a mercenary who also happened to be a Queen she supposed. She wasn't about to go on the record either with a mercenary about Rendili's conquest. Things had been going better for Rendili lately after all. So for the most part she said nothing as the two of them climbed off the shuttle once it touched down and approached the mine. The overseer already coming out to meet them with an automated repulsor cart, the woman's tail swaying in the mountain air. "Good Afternoon ladies. The team has isolated a nice section of phrik that should meet the needs of the client's order. We can dig it out in a few hours if you wish to watch. If you're ready I'll take you both inside."

Ahhhh perfect"she said with a smile as she didn't further the question about the sith take over didn't concern her and it seemed to not have any bad side affect she could see"ohhh yes that is awesome I'd love to go inside and see the vein

The overseer nodded to the Twi'lek when the woman spoke up, and Camellia had nothing else to add so once she climbed aboard with her companion the repulsor cart was underway into the mine. As they approached the team moving their drills and other tools into position, the Rendili woman spoke up this time taking the lead as the company's owner. "The teams here use a lot of laser tools and drills to carve away the rock around the metals before moving in with smoothing equipment to gently remove the rough edges left behind. From there they utilize some rather intimidating looking extraction claws to burrow around the ore and rip it out from the cleared wall." The overseer would interject as well to support the statement. "We're all very careful with such a rare material too. Our sensors ensure we don't actually damage the ore during the clearing process."

She got on and put her arms clasped behind her back as she felt the cart move down into the cave as she looked around before looking to [member="Camellia Swift"] listening to her as she nodded then listened to the overseer"hmmmm a very nice operation you have here then"she said as she looked at the crew moving in to mine the Ore"how about accident are they rare down here in your mine?

[member="Stardust"]

Camellia blinked when she heard the question, but wasn't sure how to really answer it. She really felt like letting the mine's overseer take care of it, but she also felt compelled to say something herself. "Rendili isn't heavily affected by earthquakes and the like so I haven't had a cave in reported within my time running Rendili Stardrive at all. . . .Overseer?" The other woman would bite her lip before answering, but respond quickly as she spoke up as well. "We occasionally have an accident with a mining drill slip and someone cutting off a finger and having to have it reattached, but we've gone two years without an accident since that so we've been fairly in the clear."

Hmmmmm that is good to hear sorry if the question was odd just curious how everything goes on and such harmless questions that I mean no offense about either and of it is please tell me"she said as she looked forward again as the crews started workin

Well it seemed like the Twi'lek was very similar to herself in the regards of not wanting to offend others while still being the curious sort. That much Camellia could understand quite well. However, she felt like the the green skinned woman had nothing to apologize for. It was an awkward question sure, but there no harm in it at all. "I don't think it was a bad question. You're on a foriegn world after all, and in a mine of all places. Taking into account whether earthquakes and cave-ins are a problem seems natural to me. Especially for people who don't like enclosed or underground spaces. Normally I'd assume most Twi'leks are used to such locations given R'yloth's terrain, but as you already said you were born on Naboo i wouldn't be surprised if you were to say you've rarely been to such areas before. In all honesty I don't like visiting mines much myself. I'm not the craziest fan of the dark though I suppose since Rendili went through its changes everyone can certainly see better in the dark."

Speaking while the drilling and digging went on in front of them, Camellia leaned against the edge of the cart as she looked about the mine. The lightning was more than adequate since it was put in before the Sith invasion and the people changed. It was still very useful to have for the visitors. Especially any non-humans who performed even less well in dark locales.

Well I've been on space ships most my life so small spaces ain't really the problem nor is the dark...I can see pretty clear in it just under ground with about several tons of rock noooot to fond of it"she said as she gave a grin as she looked forward at the operation as she looked to the rocks and noticed them shift...thing was they were quite a ways away from the digger"hmmm that is odd....

The Rendili woman simply nodded as the Twi'lek mentioned not minding enclosed spaces, although the follow up about being stuck beneath tons and tons of rock made her giggle a bit childishly before she coughed and calmed herself down. "Well I admit it's not exactly a pleasant thought when you bring it up. Still, I haven't encountered a situation to make me afraid of coming down here yet. The digging shouldn't take too much longer either. Living in such advanced times always does make me feel fortunate." Watching as the mining crew began to move and lift the extracting tools up to the cleared rock around the vein, Camellia tapped her fingers while humming softly as the drone of the machinery carried on.

I've encountered a few times where the cave has collapsed on me tho thank the force literally I managed to stop the falling rocks and create a bubble lonh enough to stop them"she said as she watched then start extracting the ore"hmmm I must say I am impressed with all I've seen that's coming from a customer view

Ah, she had been getting suspicious with the way Stardust had been speaking, but Camellia supposed full on saying she was a force user cemented it. Still, the Rendili woman wasn't sure if it mattered in the end. For some reason most royalty in the galaxy appeared to have a powerful connection to the force. Almost like it was a requirement. All the same she did wonder where the Twi'lek sat on the spectrum. . . .perhaps in the gray seeing as she was willing to enter Sith space as if she wouldn't be minded. Not that Camellia thought she had any need to make mention of her in a report or anything. Imahaylen wasn't in the Republic so there was no reason for the Sith to see her as a threat. As a mercenary the Sith could always try and purchase her services, it wasn't the Rendili woman's fault if she sold to a merc that the Sith failed to sway to their side. Although she'd likely face a penalty for it anyway. "Well if such happens now I'd be happy if you were to take care of it like you did back then."

She gave a smile and patted her shoulder gently"don't worry from what I see his place is well structured and of the utmost safety for its miners and that I respect"she said as she miners finally extracted the ore"oh sweet looks like they have it out now

As the Twi'lek patted her arm the Rendili woman couldn't help but purr as she flicked her tail, her equivalent of a chuckle as she nodded to other woman. "Well phrik is just too valuable to risk the mine collapsing and causing damage. The beams are reinforced durasteel and are more frequent than in a typical iron mine." Watching as the digging team did indeed start to heft the ore out from the wall with the extracting equipment as Stardust pointed out, Camellia nodded and moved as she let the Overseer pass to move about the repulsor cart and set about gliding over the controls so that the team and acquired phrik could be brought on board. "I can see they are. I guess that means we'll be heading back into wonderful warm natural sunlight soon enough."

Indeed indeed nice sunlight and warmth here we come"she said as she moved out of the way as she cart passed her as she looked to [member="Camellia Swift"]"shall we be heading out now?

She said as she watched the cart exit safely out of the cave as she watched the crew start heading up past the two

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

"Yes as soon as the cart is loaded." Nodding to the twi'lek, Camellia relaxed as she felt the cart lurch forward and they were on the move. It wasn't a long trip back outside the mine either, exiting into the open air from beneath the mountain as the Rendili woman actually purred at the silly thought that she had somehow expected for something to go wrong after all of the talk about accidents a few minutes ago. Now that they were safely back at the loading bay for the repulsor cart Camellia turned to the Queen of Imahaylen beside her as she waved for her to hop off with her. "Now we'll just submit the measurements and any specifications for the armor to the refinery and we can have it's production underway. Is there any particular specifications you want for attachments and the like?"

She nodded as she felt he cart go forward and soon sun hit her face as she sighed glad to be out of there as she turned and nodded to her with a smile"indeed all the armor shall be as is expect mine...I'd like some mag boots if you can

[member="Camellia Swift"]

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

The Rendili woman raised an eyebrow when the Twi'lek said the only modified armor would be her own. "Magno-Grip Boots isn't too much of a stretch. Very useful if you ever have to take a space walk on the outside of a station. We can retrofit that onto the phrik soles. Is there anything else you'd be interesting in? Maybe wrist blaster or flamethrowers on the other wrist or a light-shield? And are you sure just for your armor alone?" Walking with the valued customer, Camellia rattled off in her head a list of all the possible modifications they could implement into the armor for the Queen of Imhaylen.

Hmm"she said and looked to the rendii"actually mag boots for all the suits my crew needs to be able to walk in zero g"she said as she thought again what she would want flame thrower she didn't need she could use the force wrist blaster no she had a arm for that"hmmm do you happen o have Wrist cable launchers?
