Omen walked up to the South entrance of the Jedi Temple, staring at the skyline and the Temple's high spires as he tried to ignore the looks and stares of bystanders and Jedi on their lunch break. It had been a long couple of months for the Clone, having participated in several long months of invasions and seeing the fall of the Sith Empire with his own eyes. He had even built a home/brewery if you could call his bunker a home. And now he was here on Triple Zero to meet with a friend and maybe get some answers about himself in the process.

When he was nearing the Temple steps, he heard the hisses of lightsabers activate and two temple guards approach him. He rolled his eyes under his helmet as the two walked up to him, their lightsabers baring him from the temple entrance. This was not the way the clone had wanted to start his day. A gruff voice spoke from one of the guard's masked faces as they stared the clone down, wondering what some sick individual would come here wearing that after all the history between that suit of armor and the Jedi. "State your Business" The Clone only replied with "Seeing a friend..." before trying to get around them only to be blocked again. "You aren't going anywhere in this temple until your friend comes to collect you." The Trooper did his second eyeroll of the day before giving a heavy sigh. "Fine, have it your way..." Omen shuffled back down the steps in defeat. he really didn't want to have to do this, but the guards had left him no choice. With his 800-year-old tush sitting on one of the benches scattered around the temple, getting his datapad out and sent a quick message to Padawan Kinhaes Maluibon that he had met two months ago during the Bastion celebrations. "The bouncers blocked me from the South entrance, Your club is apparently very exclusive Padawan. You are going to have to come and collect me." He quickly hit the send button, hoping he wasn't interrupting something important. Now all he had to do was wait.

The clear area around her was heavily vacant. The sun shone down on her, casting her shadow long against the ground as two beams of yellow extended from the silver lightsabers in her hands. The usually horned visage of the Padawan was covered over, a helmet with a vision blocking visor was there instead. Four small drone balls flew around her in a constant speed, every now and them changing their directions. At once, each of the orbs fired a barrage of dummy bolts at Kinhaes. Sensing the attacks, Kinhaes began to turn around, moving her Lightsabers around her blocking every shot. This went on for a solid minute before the droids stopped and continued to move.

It was going well, she had been doing this for at least two hours now, and she hadn't started to get tired at all. Her focus was undivided from her targets, until a small ping came from the area next to her. It was her Data Pad. The momentary sound dragged her attention away at the wrong moment as a bolt struck her side, causing the simulation to end. It felt like a punch to the side, as she removed the visor and deactivated her weapons. "Ow.... Got to remember to switch that thing off," Kinhaes muttered, walking to the device and laying down the helmet. Looking over the message, she was astonished to see it was from Owen, the Clone Solider. "Well. That's the last person I'd expect to come here. Not many non-Jedi come here at any point," Kinhaes remarked, stowing her sabers on each hip as she retrieved her black Jedi cloak. It was an uncommon color, but that just made it more special to her.

Making her way to the southern entrance, she watched the Jedi and surroundings she passed. Many were still studying, training or moving to next lesson for most Padawans and Younglings. She remembered when she was that young. She was way more optimistic back then. Reaching the large entryway guarded by Jedi Sentinels, she looked around for Owen. Her face grew a smile when she saw the defeated clone on a bench. "This must be what he felt when I fell into that puddle," Kinhaes thought as she began to walk to the friend. "Need a hand with getting inside?" Kinhaes said, calling to him, her hand on her hip with the helmet tucked beneath her elbow. Her robes and cloak were almost completely black, even the brown was darker than normal. It was a strange sight for a Jedi, but she pulled it off. She looked more a Jedi now than when they first met at the Cantina after his return from War.

The Trooper was looking around all the statues and monuments when he heard the voice connected to Padawan Maluibon. He met her red horned visage with a tired smile."I wouldn't mind one if you have the time. The Guards probably don't want a repeat of last time a clone of my kind showed up in their temple..." He looked her in her new robes over, his grin widening as he treated her to a low whistle. "Wow, you actually look the part of a Jedi now, those robes suit you well. How have you been since Bastion Kinhaes? I hope I haven't disrupted your routine too much" As he got up to greet the Padawan, wincing at his back protested after a night of nightmares and bad mattresses. He had tried to save on credits by getting an old mattress for his ship's cabin but it was clear that his body did not agree with his budgeting. "I'm going to have to apologize in advance if it seems I'm in a bad mood. I had to deal with the Silvers kicking at my bunker door because they thought it was a spice den and putting my brother to rest, all in the same two weeks. Add in the regular nightmares about the Maw and Byrn and you can see why I'm alittle tired..". The clone straightened out his back, a pop echoing through the empty space as he jolted his spine back into alignment before continuing. Hopefully, my month gets a little bit better with this visit though. I was hoping to see if your library has any old GAR cloning records that were saved from falling into Kamino's depths, specifically mine. There is something that I have wanted to figure out for a while now and the libraries the Silvers and Imps have don't have anything that helps me. I figured if anywhere else was going to help in my search it would be here." Omen looked up at the tall spires one last time before gesturing to the temple door. "Ready to go in when you are."

Owen did look quite a bit worse for wear now she really looked at him. The way he moved, talked. Something was wrong. If he wanted to tell her then she'd be waiting for him to be comfortable enough to do so. His kind words about her outfit making her seem like a Jedi now got a chuckle out of her. "Well, I was training when you messaged me. But, I can move away for a bit," Kinhaes explained, her mind wandering to what he said after that. He was raided by the Sliver Concord? And he had to bury his brother? Kinhaes' face fell into one of sympathy as she listened to Owen. "My deepest condolences for your brother, and Apologies about the Silver Jedi. They had no right to do that," Kinhaes said, her voice full of care as she bowed her head in respect. She couldn't believe they'd do that.

When Owen told her what he had come to the temple for, she was slightly surprised. Those records might be in the library, but she wasn't sure. "Well, there is every possibility that they're still in the archives, but with how much time passed, it might not. I can't say for sure personally," she told the Clone. Taking a look at the guarded entrance, Kinhaes furrowed her brow and stood tall. "Let's go and see for ourselves rather than speculate," Her voice was full of determination, like it had before when they had gotten over the mistake she did. Kinhaes began to march to the entrance before stopping and looking at both Sentinels. "This man is a warrior of the Galactic Alliance, and hero to many under its banner. I would think that you of all Jedi would understand how different of an era we are in," Kinhaes said, lecturing the guards before turning to Owen, still addressing the guards, "I'll be escorting him to the Library for research purposes. If you wish to also monitor us, then feel free, but he is not the way your prejudice outlines him to be." Kinhaes' words were firm, like a master telling off an over zealous apprentice. Kinhaes may be reserved at times, especially in the temple, but she could be quite stern and hard to break down when she was determined enough.

Omen winced as he heard she had been training when he had messaged. Losing concentration during a training session could be very painful. "I apologize for having bad timing... I know I should have probably cleared this visit with you earlier..." And he should have. There was nothing banning him from messaging her inside the temple. He had no excuse for not talking to her. Either way, the conversation was moving on and he could feel the Padawan's face fall into despair as he told her his dispairs, only to have him wave her concerns away. "He was 800 years dead, I only had to put his spirit to rest in a suitable place. As for the Silvers, everyone makes bad decisions on bad intel now and again and my place does look sketchy from the air. Someone must have been concerned and called it in. Plus I did manage to fool a Jedi Knight that they were getting attacked by a bunch of Clone spirits so that was fun at least. I even got to tape it so we can watch it later on. But that's enough of my troubles. Let's go in"

The Sentientals were very surprised when the Padawan came up to them, requesting to give him access to the archives. The Clone chuckled under his helm when he said he was a Hero of the Alliance. "I only lost an arm at Korriban while trying to disable the Eternal Rule's gun batteries. Calling me a hero is stretching it a bit, don't you think?" One of the Sentinals rebooted back to life after a moment of considering the situation. "Very well Padawan but make sure to keep an eye on him at all times." The Jedi then signaled for the doors to the temple to be opened and creaking open they did, showing the massive foyer of the New Jedi Temple in all of its grandeur. After mocking the Sentientals by making moose antlers and childishly making sounds by pressing his tongue to his teeth for good measure, the Trooper went inside and looked around, staring at the valuated ceilings. "Wow, this place is pretty big and swanky. I don't think I could find the Library even if he tried." But boy would he try. This was the last stop on his quest to find out who he really was. Hopefully, he would find closure in this massive place.
