"Not much further now." Vrak had explored enough of these tombs to know they were never unguarded.

Sith were odd creatures. They spent their entire existence hoarding knowledge and collecting as much treasure as they could, but none could be kept after death. It was a wonder then that they did not share it, that instead of dispensing it among their apprentices and lessers they kept it all to themselves. Even in Death Sith were naught but selfish. They wanted what was theirs and they wanted it for an eternity. His people were such curious things.

He wondered if he would do the same. Would he take everything to his grave? His knowledge? His plans? His artifacts? Everything that he had accrued. The small smile on his lips stayed as they wandered further into the tomb, his eyes catching just the fluttering hint of something on the ceiling above them.

"Patience." Vrak stated. "It's a Jedi teaching."

Amusement floated through his tone. "But it's not one we should forsake."[/color[

Just as he spoke the Hssiss above them leaped, bounding down from its perch and snapping it's salivating jaws towards Aria.

She smirked, but her eyes were thoughtful.

Yes, she supposed that easy as it was to label the Jedi fools who worshipped their delusion of peace, there had to be truth buried in there somewhere with the rest of it. Idealism wasn’t enough to uphold an order like theirs for as long as it had survived.

It wasn’t enough to change her idea that they were weak. It wasn’t enough to let her forget the strain of fighting for an unattainable idea, following a code as shattered as theirs. But it gave them some measure of worth that meant she didn’t have to dislike Jedi just for the code they followed.

Aria would have replied then, some quip or another, but the Hssiss dropped as she was searching for the words.

She started.

A step backwards as she watched the creature, deciding if it was dangerous enough to be worried. After all, Aria only recalled this or that about the Hssiss. Conclusion: it was not.

Then she shrugged, and a push of telekinesis knocked it back.

"I'm getting the idea that nothing around here likes visitors."
