STRENGTHS
Freedom Dispenser- The amount of armament and ordnance that can be brought to bear on a target is frankly, terrifying. Have a grudge with a specific mountain or island? No worries, with enough creds, food, and good booze it can be gone.

What hit me?- The shielding and armor are made to be extremely hard to punch through no matter what comes its way allowing it to fulfill its mission of close air support, and transport for friendlies in or out of a hot landing zone.

Freedom is Forever- Armament duplicators make sure that the warhead tubes are able to keep firing long after others have had to head back to reload.

WEAKNESSES

Low and slow- This ship is not going to be winning any races. The engine arrays have to carry A LOT of weight and the isotope 5 reactors power goes to the weapons and defenses for the most part, meaning that both straightline speed and turning performance are subpar.

Large target- It is an assault gunship that is considerably longer and wider than a YT-1300. Hard to hit it ain't.

Flying blind- Sure it's a tall order, but if a crafty enemy knocks the sensor suite offline then the pilot is blind until they can be rebooted or repaired.

DESCRIPTION

The AG-1H came about during the many trips bouncing around the Outer Rim for the RTL that Kurayami found himself bored and messing around with many ideas. The biggest inspiration for the design came from a long time back when he had an idea for a gunship that could more comfortably transport him for more than a few hours. If needed this could serve as a base of operations for a time, though the accomadations would be spartan. The fact that he was often operating with others now also meant that he had to move away from a pure starfighter for the design and something larger would ensure that he could drop or evac friendlies when needed. Like most recent designs from the COrellian the Screamin Demon has an advance panoramic display and 360 degree HUD instead of a traditional cockpit. As such there are no windows to the outside world so should something manage to shut down the sensors the pilot will be blind to the world around them.

The biggest challenge would be survivability, because transports were not only large targets, but they were not the fastest or most well armed things on the battlefield. Well, he could solve two of the three at best if he tried. Okay, so he lied to himself and only solved the issue of armament. It was still large, and slow but it could punch far above its weight class making bunkers regret existing in one shot from a heavy particle cannon. It carries four on wingtip turrets with 360 degrees of traverse and 90 degrees elevation. In two ventral nose turrets are mounted four electromagnetic plasma cannons with 270 degrees of traverse and 180 degrees of elevation. The truly terrifying punching power comes in the form of the thirty two variable-ordnance warhead launchers, 16 tubes dorsally mounted per wing in two rows of eight. At the base of each of these batteries of launchers are armament duplicators that keep them supplied with the type of warhead programmed before each sortie. Usually this is a single type though it could be different per duplicator depending on mission profile. The targeting systems work in tandem with mutiple droid brains to target and acquire a lock on up to 1000 enemy signatures.

While the size and speed were unable to be overcome with the goals Kurayami had in mind, he did manage to increase survivability with the use of massively durable materials and redundant military grade shielding units in tandem with mircopoles to boost efficacy of the systems installed. While there are ECM systems they aren't going to stop a lock forever given a basic fighter can easiy dictate the engagement. Though perhaps what makes the gunship quite interesting to most and gave it the nickname 'Screamin' Demon' is the addition of retractable loudspeakers which can be, and often are, extended at the start of an engagement with an incredibly loud and dangerous to unprotected hearing air raid siren blaring when the opening salvo vaporizes whatever you were angry and fearful of just a moment ago. Whether that be a walker, mountain, or island doesn't matter, all that'll be left in the end is a smoking crater and some angry local cartographers.
