SETTING INFORMATION
Structure Name: Scion Technologies Incoporated HQ
Classification: Corporate Headquarters
Location: Mustafar
Affiliation: Skritch Scion, Scion Technologies Incorporated
Accessibility: It is isolated from society and reachable only by small aerial or space craft.
Description: Tall fourteen floor building. It is comprised of Durasteel and transparisteel. There are several landing pads in a circle around the building.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Reception Area:
The reception area occupies half the first floor of the building. Immediately upon entering, guests are greeted by a partition bordered by two glass doors. The partition has writing that reads "Scion Technologies Incorporated."
Upon traveling through either glass door there is a lobby area. There is nothing in the lobby besides a desk, a secretary droid that can be quaried for directory assistance, and a security officer armed with a shock baton.
Research and Development Department:
The research and development department occupies the eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth floors of the building. The eleventh floor is composed entirely of office space. The twelfth floor is a laboratory where droid products are tested and evaluated. The thirteenth floor is the offices of the Chief Research Officer, Head Design Engineer, their assistants, and the Research and Development conference room.
The fourteenth floor:
The fourteenth floor is home to the offices of upper management including the CFO, and Skritch Scion's personal office. Also located on this floor is the security monitoring room and the board meeting room.
SECURITY: low
Camera monitoring system with cameras in various places on every floor up to the eleventh floor. There are no cameras present beyond the eleventh floor.
Fire alarms and suppression systems throughout the building.
Elevators which require keys to acess any floor above the tenth
Security doors in the stairwell which require keycards to access the eleventh through fourteenth floors
Five guards who patrol the building with shock batons. One guard in the camera monitoring room.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Skritch Scion funded the construction of this building. It serves as the headquarters for his company. Skritch always had an interest in working with droids from a young age. So when he had enough money he decided to establish a droid manufacturing company. Being slightly narcissistic, he named it after himself. Scion Technologies Incorporated was born.
He choose Mustafar to establish his cooperation due to the volcanic nature of the planet. The easy availability of lava made his forges easy to build and keep in operation. The extreme heat and unforgiving landscape also allowed him to test the durability of metal he would use to produce his droids.
