A flash of blue, a searing pain - smoke.

Her blade had found purchase, even if only a shallow one, near the edge of his chest but his had also managed to make contact; lifeless tendrils of flesh fell from the side of her head where his blade had jerked up when he'd backed away from her in shock. Smoke clouded the side of her vision, and the rank stench of burning flesh filled her nostrils as the sound of boots echoing off the walls filled her ears. She ignored the Jedi's shout of panic, her blades twisting through the air to knock away blaster fire that seemed to converge on her with some modicum of expertise while he broke away from her to help the woman she'd run through with her spear of earth just moments ago. Stepping back, her back to the wall, Alekto shook her head at the sight of a flash grenade being tossed toward her - jerking her head up with a slight grunt of annoyance, telekinetic force forcing it back to the rangers that had thrown it.

A flash of light and the piercing clap of an explosion provided the woman with greater flexibility in her withdrawal - someone had thrown a smoke grenade, something which certainly would have helped had she not been able to feel their presence through the force but only served to provide her with further ammunition. Magenta blades deactivated while she stepped to the side and she swiftly tossed them into the air - their shapes obscured by a manifested plume of green smoke, vanishing into nothingness along with the wisps of green and black as though she'd always been unarmed - and as she lifted her right hand up there was the distinct sound of the snapping of fingers before the cloud of smoke itself ignited, filling the portion of the room nearest her with columns of fire.

She had lost interest in the two Jedi - even when she'd dragged them so close to the brink still they insisted on clinging to the facade they so desperately wanted to last - but the rangers that had made their entrance were more than fair game. A sweeping gesture of her right hand, fanning her hand at the flames as if to usher them away, preceded a racing stream of fire that swallowed whole several of them as she stepped backwards and - like a ghost - stepped through the wall, blaster fire clashing against the section of duracrete she had been standing in front of only moments before. Standing outside of the building it was only now that she could see the full extent of the conflict enveloping the city. She turned, leaving the Jedi and their ranger friends to their own devices - she could not have cared less if they might have escaped, nor did she care for whatever they may have found if they had actually managed to breach the local data storage in the building.

Green smoke swirled around her, flowing into her hands, and her sabers appeared again - as if willed from some ether beyond - and she strode towards the center of the city to find another conflict to embroil herself in; though she doubted she would find entertainment as she had here. The building she left behind, much like her purpose on the planet, was to provide both her and the Emperor with their plans to rendezvous on Mygeeto - plans which were clearly no longer to be used, as the war had came to them on Muunilist - and thus seizing information from the building would be as much an exercise in futility as their attempts to put her down had ended up being.
