The people there share a hospitality and due to the safety of the work there is idea of community. Though this comes with the disadvantage of people not being the most trusting of newcomers, but if one proves a trustworthy they will treat you like family.
    • Cut-throat [Scrappers]
      • Scrappers are a cut-throat group of people, it's survival of the fittest out there. Don't trust anyone who says they are your friend they will backstab you at the first opportunity to make a little cash. The scrappers are ungoverned and lack any community, the kids who live in the area are typically abandoned and pick-pockets. Scrappers are typically drifters and the only permanent residents are the shop owners and those of the mob.
    • Ruthless [Mob]

      • The government has little to no control in the scrapper cities. They have left it to the mob declaring them settlements, the only instances of them going into these places was to hunt down a terrorist in which the Mob handed the man over. Though should there be an attack on any scrapper city they shall move to defend them as it is in protection for the planet still.
    • Medium Government Control [Factory/Shipyard Cities]
      • The government typically keeps the military and police force relegated to this area. They want to protect the factories and the people apart of them, due to their agreements with the scrapper cities and the mob the people are usually left alone and the crime rate is kept low. While there are laws there is little government intervention in the lives on the civilians lives and only are there to uphold the law, tax, and create new laws, but the constitution of the planet has a bill of rights and has defined definite rights.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Before Settlement:

Before the settlement of the planet Schaphoidaria, the region was the site of an undocumented starship battle that left behind a series of major and minor ship graveyards scattered across the landscape. There was no discernible evidence of any prior settlements or intelligent life on the planet. The planet's ecosystems were inhabited by various animal species, although many of these creatures were disrupted by the introduction of new predators.

Predators:

The introduction of predators on the planet was instigated by a wealthy individual with the ambitious goal of creating a zoo featuring exotic creatures. He bought a Krayt Dragon egg, which he had no clue what it would become, a family of Rancors, and other predators that he thought would make good in a zoo. Unfortunately, the Krayt Dragon became too big to store the they dropped it in the desert to not have to pay to clean up the mess of killing it. The locals of the planet have elected to call it Grimm due to how many deaths it causes during the hibernation months. The family of Rancors eventually escaped during a power outage, but most predators remain in the zoo that is still actively run.

Schafs:

The inhabitants of the planet, known as the Schafs, consisted of two main groups: the workers and the scrappers. While these groups held mutual disdain for each other, they generally avoided conflict and coexisted without major issues. Scrappers found the ship graveyards to be popular areas for exploration, with some even camping within the abandoned ships during the nights. Meanwhile, the workers primarily inhabited the major cities and the capital, with their governance and protection provided by the world's republic government that had been established.

    Founding:

Crash is founded out of a crashed battlecruiser with an intact nuclear reactor that wasn't leaking and in operating condition. This town was set up as a haven for scrappers as it is only fifty miles from a major starship graveyard. This was not the biggest graveyard but it was a large one that had safe surroundings and the larger and more dangerous creatures do not tend to wander there. It harbors a black market for slaves, tools, and other illegal materials under the nose of the planetary government.

    Current State:

Crash is a crime-riddled town with a flourishing black market. The only permanent residents are the mafia, that has formed there to run the black market, and the businesses that buy and sell scrap. The government doesn't officially recognize it as a city so they won't have to police the area instead declaring it a settlement and having arrangements of the mob not to invade local towns in return for being left alone.

    Founding:

Arris's Store was founded by a man of the same name as a checkpoint for those who travel out into the largest starship graveyard, the Shotus Graveyard. This is considered the closest a shop can get before it is in danger of being attacked by Kryat Dragons, Xena Demons, and Cliffborer Worms. This is due to the hard earth a few meters down that the Kryat Dragon cannot go through, the Xena Demons cannot burrow into, and the Cliffborers have no active food. The area flourishes in the final three of the nine month years, when the Xena Demons are hibernating. The outpost is considered a landmark and is a popular destination for those who want to travel out into the Sarges Desert.

    Current State:

Despite from the outside looking like a decrepit destroyed area, it acts as a sort of mall, selling supplies and buying scrap. There is a bar inside that is popular during the hibernation months and in there are many people who will teach you the route, travel with you, or will escort you to the graveyard. The government will leave the area alone most of the year but during the popular months send some soldiers over to help maintain order.

  • jason-scheier-desert-js.jpg

    History:

Sarges Desert is a dangerous area that is uninhabitable to most animal life, it is home to the location known as the Hive, Shotus Graveyard, and the den of the Krayt Dragon. The area is arid and hard to travel through, though venturing into it can yield great rewards as the many of the ships in the Shotus Graveyard have been untouched since they crashed there. The Krayt Dragon also patrols the desert, steering clear of the hive but sometimes going to the Shotus Graveyard to hunt for food during the hibernation months.

    Government Intervention:

The government wants to figure out how to cross the desert as it would make travel between the cities much faster. Though they've all but given up due to the existence of the Hive and the threat of the Krayt Dragon. They have deemed the area uninhabitable and will never send soldiers into it, the closest they will get is Arris's Store

  • alex-nice-dessert-structure-009.jpg

    History:

There was once a space battle above the planet that little is known about. During the battle, the bulk of the ships that went down were over the desert. This created a graveyard of all categories of ships (beneath Dreadnought size), that are untouched by time. When colonized by settlers the area was overrun by Xena Demons and the settlers decided to leave it alone. Though during the hibernation months of the Xena Demons, the area is much safer to go to, but you still have to be mindful for the Krayt Dragon and the Cliffborer worms. Though there is still a danger of waking the hive.

    Current State:

The closest landmark to it is the Hive and the closest civilized area is Arris's Store. The Graveyard has claimed countless lives of Scrappers and is typically left alone until the hibernation month. Due to the danger most of the ships there have never been touched by scrappers or settlers and hold secrets of the ancient battle, possible treasures, and weaponry left by time.

    History:

Termish was established by Vuull's Industries as a factory & shipyard city due to its easy access to ship parts and platinum. The city is well developed and relatively safe. The income of the area is middle class due to most families having someone work at the factory. The government, funded by Vuull's Industries, funds any families that experience death or permanent injuries. Though due to most of the dangerous work being done by robots, injuries are few and far between.

    Government:

The government stations soldiers throughout it and has erected a wall around it to help keep it protected. Law and order is maintained within the walls and there is a low crime rate. Due to the deal with the mafia the place has been relatively unbothered by the black market.

  • vladimir-motsar-.jpg

    History:

The Xena Demon Hive, also known as the Hive, has been on the planet since the first settlers arrived. It is a large hive of Xena Demons that is located near the Shotus Graveyard. It is close enough to the Graveyard that if you go there during the hibernation months you will find sleeping Xena Demons in starships. Despite the danger it remains completely dormant during the hibernation months, though any attempt to clear it out proved ineffective due to how vast and deep the tunnels are, but bombs are dropped on them during the active months to try and keep their population down.

Warning: Do not wake the bugs.

Very well made submission! Love the details and the extra bit you've done for the Points of Interest!

However there are a few places in need of further details and a question that I had for you. For Culture and Freedom & Oppression you'll need some more detail and explanation. These areas aren't really ratings, they're meant to allow you to flesh out the intricacies of your planet in particular. What does traditional mean for this world's population? Are the Scrappers cutthroat out of necessity or are they bandits and vagabonds on the run from the law? What does government control mean and entail for the citizenry? The Galactic Alliance will also need to be linked in Affiliations.

The question that I had for you was in regards to the Permissions section. This isn't really meant to explain permissions for this submission but rather meant to provide permissions, if required, for other submissions used in this one. Regardless I was confused by what you mean by an "approved event by the site."

The idea was to just set some rules so someone didn't go in and just destroy some important things, which I have clarified, but if you'd like me to remove that I will, if so is there anywhere I can put it? I have also removed the 'approved event by the site' as it is a given, the idea was to just say that the site may do whatever they want to it during events, like overthrow the ruling government.

Other than that I have done all corrections and added more detail.

I'm still a bit confused by the distinction you're drawing between the "site" doing stuff to your planet and someone else doing stuff to your planet. Planets are a bit of a special case when it comes to submissions and how they interact with roleplay.

For instance a hex with a custom planet in it can be claimed by a Major Faction pretty much without the consent of the planet's creator needed. A dominion or faction thread can be done on that planet pretty much any time without the OP's permission needed, although obviously this is very much in poor taste in regards to modifying the planet itself significantly. In turn however the planet maker is not obligated to modify their sub at all to reflect what happens to it in regards to the map game and can freely ignore whatever others do to the planet if they so choose.
