Description:
Forged a long time ago by the rulers of Effekt, the scepter that Nimue Stormson wielded as part of her royal authority was an image of power. After meeting Darth Arcanix though, and exploring the ruins of Kullcor and awakening a Force nexus there, it became so much more.

Through the use of Sith alchemy, Arcanix was able to imbue the scepter with several new abilities that were based on the ancient Scepter of Ragnos. The Scepter of Effekt gained the ability to drain the power of Force nexuses and store that energy within the crystal set amongst the bladed top. Nimue could now use that energy source as either a way to fire powerful blasts or beams of pure dark side energy, or as a source to fuel her own powers. The scepter was also made resistant to a lightsaber, as most alchemized weapons were.

The scepter, unlike the one wielded by Ragnos, can not reanimate the dead or imbue the Force energies contained within a non-Force Sensitive. Furthermore, using the scepter too much will exhaust the energies stored with the crystal, requiring it to recharge by draining more Force energy from a nexus or battlefield.

I'd like to make a brief mention that Marka Ragnos has been considered by many to be one of the greatest Sith Lords, Alchemists, Sorcerers, in all of Sith History, coming second in the latter two to perhaps Palpatine and Naga Sadow alone. That being said, the scepter of Ragnos, which was destroyed prior to 40 BBY or about 810 years ago, was probably the Sith Lord's greatest accomplishment and his masterwork piece. I'll need to see quite a bit more development in order for me to allow even a lesser imitation to be made, especially if it is capable of absorbing force nexuses.

• A further 30 posts of development that revolve solely around the meticulous crafting of the Scepter of Effekt. This may be done in the same thread or another thread, but it must focus entirely on the alchemic forging of the scepter in question.
• Remove the ability to release the force stored as beams/blasts of dark side energy. They may be used to augment the user's own abilities.
• Change "Steel" to "Alchemized Durasteel".

SUGGESTIONS

• Sith Alchemy is an extremely difficult and grueling thing to master, and each submission to the factory is looked over and previous submissions made by the same character may be reviewed to see if they have reasonably progressed to being capable of performing greater feats with the art. By starting out small and working up to bigger things you avoid scrutiny in most cases.

How many dev posts would it take to keep the energy blasts but reduce how many could be used as that was sort of the point of making this, and as it also can't use the other abilities of Ragnos's scepter such as reanimate or empower non-Force users with the Force? I'd be open to doing as much you deemed necessary.

The energy blasting ability of the scepter of Ragnos was a gameplay mechanic in the Jedi Knight/Academy series, and game canon is not held in high regard if even considered at all. What was described of the ability is highly reminiscent of the Force Blast ability, and is likely what the game character was using with empowerment from the scepter's stored energy. This all being said, I will not be accepting such an ability with the staff.
