Scarlet Agent, All In Black

Beau stood at the front door of Circe Savan's apartment and adjusted the collar of his dress shirt. He wore an impeccable combination of blacks and whites, fused in such a way that the dinner parties of Coruscant wouldn't bat an eye if he walked in minus an RSVP. The benign Zelosian licked his lips nervously.

Why? Well, he was at the house of an individual he'd just defeated in a rather heated lawsuit. There were many reasons he should be nervous, which was why he held a bottle of Corellia's best wine in his left hand. While it might not stop a blaster bolt, it would at least make a good impression before he died - if Circe intended on having him assassinated. He doubted she would.

The woman seemed misunderstood. In truth, he'd only been acting on behalf of Sasha and her rather... persuasive arguments. He had no personal quarrel with Circe. But such was the way of corporate legal affairs. Everyone took everything personally, which made for few allies and many enemies.

Gabriel was here to amend that short falling.

One could never have too many friends...

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Circe did not own an apartment building. Such a place was far too vulnerable to invasion. Her home as such was a larger location, replete with stone facades, electrum engraving - and bodyguards, living, dead, and mechanical. Gabriel would be greeted by a pair of Mirari bodyguard droids armed with twin disruptor pistols. These droids, seeing as he had something for Circe, would take him into the room, where turrets, droids, mercenaries, and even what appeared to be skeletons stood, waiting for him to try and make an aggressive move.

And there at last was Circe, sitting on her large, ornate chair. She eyed the man who had caused her such significant trouble, and with a motion, the bodyguards left. All except for the Miraris, who stepped back and observed the situation from next to the chair.

"You know, Gabriel... You were extraordinarily lucky. During this lawsuit, and when you came to my locale. What you assisted Sienar and their corporate-swayed adjudicator in doing cost me a significant financial investment. It's fortunate that I was able to settle my debts with the ASA at the cost of a significant investment. However, that's not enough."

She sultrily stepped forward, eying the Zelosian's glistening green globes with her own pair of eyes. "Marek Starchaser is part of the Old Guard, for better lack of term. Personnel in the ASA who held a variety of leadership positions during the tenure of one Isley Verd. From what the Subach records detail of Weedkiller - the CIS's assault on my company's factories - Marek was involved on Charros IV. However, I have no solid evidence to indicate his presence, so I can't point out his bias to Salem. Accessing Abrion records is well above my level of clearance, and I'd prefer not to go as low as my opposition, so I intend to go to the ruins of the Subach factory on Charros IV. There were security holocams there - likely they can help support my point."

She turned away. "I would, how do you say... highly appreciate it if you were to come with me. Perhaps it would help sway my graces back towards you."
