STRENGTHS
  • Impervium: The armor's impervium plating protects the wearer from virtually any attack thrown at him save for an indefinitely sustained turbolaser bombardment, or other such offensive payload. This is admittedly rare for any Sith to encounter on the battlefield however.
  • Sith Amulets: There are various Sith amulets embedded into both the cuierass and the gauntlets of the armor, enhancing the Dark Side strength of the wearer as well as giving them the ability to call upon a variety of powers from healing to pure blasts of dark side energy, even fear and madness on the battlefield.
WEAKNESSES
  • Very Heavy: The materials used in the armor's construction while durable have made it so increadibly heavy that its practically worthless for most humanoids to even consider moving in. Even those who are well equipped to handle such a heavy armor can find their movements, acrobatics, and agility slowed and limited by the extra burden of the armor.
  • Unarmored Midsection: Just like its Mark I counterpart the midsection is one of the few areas not protected by impervium armor, and the vulnerable place for any enemy to target.
  • Thermal Gel Rigidity: While the thermal gel provides an excellent defense against kinetic strikes, the thermal gel lining the interior of the armor hardens upon impact and it further retains that rigidity. In addition to the armors already considerable weight this can stiffen and cut into the wearer's mobility to a certain degree.
DESCRIPTION

One trait that the Zambrano Lords Darth Prazutis and [member="Darth Carnifex"] share is their love for combat, and their willingness to jump headlong into the front lines of the galaxies worst battlefields. While this earns the respect as well as endeared them in the eyes of the Imperial Legion it made them a target. Their enemies sought to cut the leadership of the Empire in one swift stroke.

To handle this problem the monarchs began to develop a series of advanced armors that started with the Neo-Imperator Armor series. Over time they improved upon the designs and eliminated features while including others to improve its overall effectiveness, all to handle the worst that their opponents would send at them. The latest in this line came as the Saziliebm-type Imperious Battle Armor Mark I. It was distinctly different from their previous armors deviating from the highly experimental mag-coil armor system and ceramic laminate they wore before. This armor instead was coated in impervium armor plating rendering it virtually indestructive, save for the midsection.

In addition this new set designed by the Sith Emperor encorporated various Dark Side artifacts and imbued Sith Amulets to both enhance his own abilities and give him a variety of new ones to make use of. Immediately Darth Prazutis took the designs for this new armor and crafted one of his own. While it shared many similar designs and features it quickly became his own with the addition of his own artifacts to enhance his already substantial power in the Dark Side of the Force. The Shadow Hand quickly added many more additions in the form of a larger variety of features to help combat any situation he might encounter while out conducting his duties as Shadow Hand. If the past taught him anything it was that to survive one needed to always be prepared, to expect the unexpected. The Saziliebm-type Imperious Battle Armor Mark II was born.
