Description: The SAR 437 was designed to give Mandalorians a squad automatic weapon that excels at laying down suppresive fire. The blaster has a heavier barrel than most rifles to help prevent overheating. However in case of excessive fully automatic fire, the blaster has a fail-safe. When this device hits critical heat capacity the blaster will cease to fire and flush the heat out. This process can take up to 7 seconds. Reloads can take even longer. Accuracy while standing becomes somewhat of a challenge without any form of attachment but, if the soldier shoots from a more prone position, he/she can maintain excellent groups out to longer distances meters. Close quarters combat would be difficult with this weapon's length and heft.
