[SIZE=14pt]HISTORICAL INFORMATION[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Almost immediately upon taking control of the Hikari System, Kimiko put into motion a multitude of projects meant to bring the system up to Galactic standards. By far the biggest of these was the development and construction of the orbital ring shipyards around the system’s gas super giant, Sakura. The planet made the perfect choice as the atmosphere was rich in Tibanna gas.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]After thorough research, and the appropriation of funds, construction began. At first, it was kept a closely guarded secret, with only the highest officials within ORC with any knowledge of its existence. But the project came to light shortly before completion, as Kimiko presented the station as a sort of gift to the Coalition.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Now with the station completed, and the personnel in place for operations, the Sakuran Shipyards are open for business. Under the jurisdiction of ORC and ORME, projects have begun across the station...[/SIZE]
