Saeria’s Healing (Coci, Maya, Anyone)

Morning​

Gleaming whites, blues and silvers. Small beds in private chambers, that led to the central area where the healers and medical staff worked, patients being moved out or in as they needed attention. Some patients stayed for longer, some were quick short visits.

Laying prone in a strange kind of stasis was a three year old girl. It had been a few days since the young half Echani was admitted to the building, straight from Mon Calamari, and nobody had dared move her since. She had been hurried here on landing, and since coming here her eyes hadn’t opened once, her heart was faint and her breathing shallow.

Saeria Aldan Keth had been asleep a very, very long time. How long was anyones’ guess, nobody here knew, not even [member="Taiden Keth"] who stood beside her vigilantly, a man who hadn't slept, ate or anything else for about two days straight.

Conventional healing droids had done little except keep her comfortable, and the medical bays here were certainly of the highest quality you’d find almost anywhere, clean, stocked with supplies, but none of them had worked.

How did you wake up a girl who had forgotten what waking up meant? So long sleeping that sleep had given her many lifetimes of dreams. Examination of the body would reveal more. For now all there was, was silence, and the faint beating of a little lost heart. A young heart who had never had a chance at a real happy life, not till today.

[Coci Heavenshield]

After accompanying Kei, Taiden and Saeria back to Voss, Coci had made every preparation in the medical bay to see to the girl's comfort and well being. To bring this girl out of stasis would take time and precision on the part of the Master Jedi that would gather here. Coci had only left the room in which Saeria lay as if sleeping to go to the library and look through the countless documents of this condition in hope to better prepare herself for the invasion into Saeria's mind. Master [member="Maya Whitelight"] would be needed, for her ability to combat darkness as a fellow Shadow and more importantly, as a master healer.

They will need to connect, in order to work in unison, as this procedure is dangerous to everyone, and especially to Saeria. How her mind will be after this is anyones guess, this will not evident until she opens her eyes as a conscious being. There is more, there is darkness surrounding her, placed their by those that have done this to her and Maya and Coci wil have to rid her of that firstly. It is weak but remains a threat to the success to the procedure.

Coci stood by the side of the bed and waited for Maya to arrive. They will speak of the steps needed to begin.

[Maya Carrick]

After the message had been made to her about the child that now laid in medical center. It was only after the information that Master[member="Coci Heavenshield"] had been given to her. No doubt there had been pour over her many times over. In what was a very serious matter at hand. No doubt this would go be on her own personal limits of the force. Knowing be on the that the force the very core of its nature had to be pour out to this young child for her to even have a chance to pull out of the darkness that seem to loom around.

To stop in her own peaceful place, before she step foot into the room again. Making her rounds of the tiny little patient that had fallen under her care. It would go be on the advance medical tech could be offer. It would be something of skill in the very core of the force itself.

It came down to the bonding that would be required between all the force users that would aid in this including herself and Master Coci. This time coming into the room wasn't empty handed. In her hands where herbs and the forcelight itself in her little micro organizers one off by itself would never be seen with the naked eye but with thousand together came the soft glow. It was the very life of the force itself. Just where had she found such organism the many temples that now laid empty. It was what she had been draw-en to in the first place.

Master Coci how is our little one doing, I take it no changes."

[Kei Amadis]

Kei entered in his usual camouflaged temple robes, giving his friend Taiden Keth and the two Master's a nod. If an Echani had been able to show it, Taiden must be exhausted, because he’d not left this room for two days. While Kei himself had gotten some sleep, it was light rest, and his usual line of stubble was growing. Kei had spent most of his time moving things to the room for both Saeria’s and Taiden’s comfort, feeling the need to do something, doing rather than waiting around. The Epicanthx was still seeking that elusive thing called patience that came so easily to other Jedi.

“Master’s no change yet. We don’t know how to wake her.” Kei pressed the back of his hand to Saeria’s cheek, he didn’t know why he felt that connection to the girl. Only that she was helpless, trapped in a dream or a nightmare, who knows what the last thing she saw was? Was that still with her now?

Watching the gentle rise and fall of the child’s breathing, he rubbed the stubble on his chin. Kei wasn’t a healer, but he had to be doing something. “Brought some food, for when she wakes.” When, not if, he wasn’t giving up that easy, she was going to wake. Placing down the fruit, deserts, meals, you could see the small stack rising, a representation of his concern.

Even he could feel both the light and the dark within the girl, split down the middle, she’d been stuck with powerful Sith and Jedi locked in a final conflict for hundreds of years, frozen, she must have seen it all before the end, trapped there with it for an eternity.

She managed a faint smile as Kei entered the room, after Maya. Coci simply shook her head no as Maya asked regarding changes, she had not taken her eyes off the girl as options ran through her mind.

"Kei, Maya and I will need your assistance. Maya is aware of what we must do, we must connect through the force and strengthen one another, not only that but it is a means to be able to sense what the other is doing and feeling and to communication when needed", she began.

Coci turned to Maya, "We must begin by removing the darkside from her, this could be part of the reason she is more closed .. a stream of white light, gentle until the darkness is nulified. It will depend of the hold and strength of the darkness on her as to the next step".

"I need you to investiage her well being, I did a check on her before we returned and found nothing physically wrong, but I do not have your level of talent. So please check. However before we begin, Maya is there anything you wish to perform before we start?".

 

[Maya Carrick]

Listening before she spoken on the matter of her train of thought. First she need to make sure [member="Saeria Aldan-Keth"] was okay. Now this brought up another delicate situation. One might not see it in this light. With the darkness into play, it could be very tricky even with the grip the darkness had taken this child, there would be those walls up.

Flickering her eyes open, Let me soften the darkness with in her first. Just what did this mean Coci knew to well what had to come out of Maya. Locked way deep with in her. The control she had on the warrior that sleep with in her now completely under control. The darkness with in this child had to feel safe or feeling that it would tighten its grip even tighter light a hang man noose.

Knowing now what had to be done knowing when to let the light flood into to wipe the darkness totally. At the same time so the darkness couldn't do any more damage. Giving a nod towards both Taiden Keth and [member="Kei Amadis"] I need your help. The tubes over there you will find one full of a deep green paste and then in the animal skin bag you will find large glowing purplish leaves. I need one of you to rub the paste on her limbs and her face and neck. I can't not touch it for now." knowing this would be of great puzzlement as it had little micro organisms. That had been bonded with her own force light. If it would touch her in her shadow warrior state it would start a combat and do battle to drive out the shadow.

Closing her own eyes now, more for the focus. As she reach inside of herself to pull on a cage that slowly came open, raising out of this cage was the warrior waiting to be called into battled. It only that this time this battle wouldn't be out on a field but it would be metal battle one that could not end well for her or anyone else in the room.

Giving away to her force feeling the others in the room each one giving off a different kind of sense in the room, that itself would over whelm someone not ready for the emotions. "I am ready my dear sister.[member="Coci Heavenshield"] pausing are the rest of you ready for what is to come... the battle for this child is about to start.

 

[Taiden Keth]

Taiden’s knowledge of the language of healing was in its infancy. [member="Nima Tann"] had taught him the basics in their training session. The language of healing involved following the healing current and reading through motion as Echani always did, where the pains were to speak to them. He followed [member="Coci Heavenshield"]s advice and scanned Saeria with his force sense, looking for pains or blocks.

He saw crystal and images in his mind's movement. Like [member="Natol'ine"] had within her, in her crystal. Memories of the past duel, and how scared little Saeria had been, pulled along into that, and then trapped when the room was frozen. "She is scared. Even now."

If he had been any other man his shoulders would be sagging from fatigue, but he kept that posture denying himself any rest until she was healed. He held [member="Saeria Aldan-Keth"] ‘s hand, which for an Echani meant a lot being reserved as they were, staring into her eyes.

[member="Kei Amadis"] nodded to Coci, and awaited her guidance, hands over the girl, following his Master's example. Kei indicated he was ready, more than ready by the look in the Epicanthx’s eyes.

While Taiden’s concentration was equal if not unbreakable, he bowed to Coci and Maya. Walking away to get the tubes for Maya. Taiden was a novice herbalist, but may eventually be a healer of some magnitude. He recognized some of the scent on the herbs, but merely silently worked, rubbing the green paste on Saeria’s hands and neck. He was careful, his touch ever so light, just like his ancestor Aiden, he barely even brushed the young child's skin as he applied the paste.

He could feel it, this would be old darkness, visions, who knows what was in the crystal sleep she had endured and before. The young Echani was ready to face the past. “I am ready.” Taiden affirmed, taking Saeria’s left hand again, looking down, his gaze had hardly ever left her, and wouldn’t till she was awake again.

Coci had centered her concentration, pulled the force to her and was ready as well. All in the room she would allow to sense her power, this is no time to hide when there is the life of a child at stake. A strong aura pusled around Coci, her eyes not closed but fixed on the girl, her mind had hear the words of those around her, yet she gave no reply, it was not needed.

Maya felt palpable, her release of her warrior within, set to caged and waiting for when she needed to call upon the strenght pulsed into Coci's body and mind. Yet Coci remained stoic, removing all distractions of the girls life and those depending on her experience, to remove all pressure in order to fullfil the duty.

Pulling white light to her hands, Coci raised them and would begin the soft thread to feed the body, this would aid Maya in her fight against the darkness. Only gently would the light enter the girl, heeding the words of Taiden .. she is scared .. the white light would begin to sooth her, if only a little. But soon Coci would speak to her, once the darkness if removed and Maya gives the all clear that she is well in body, then the healing of the mind could only begin.

More and more the white light threaded it's way along the body nullifing the darkness, together they would succeed in the health of the physical. To Kei she flicked her eyes, beckoning him to assist, they would all need the will and the force strength to sustain each other, she wanted Kei to link to them all and feed the force through a unified conduit.

 

[Maya Carrick]

It was time after letting Coci go first with the bending light coming from her. Only then did she lay hands upon. Letting out her own energy that now came out as a shadow, one would sent this as a flirt with darkness itself. It only gave her strength pulling out the harmony those emotions that needed. As knowing if to much light was used at first then the darkness with in her could pulled deeper.


This today was the battle field set before her, one that with [member="Coci Heavenshield"] [member="Taiden Keth"][member="Kei Amadis"] would aid in making sure that the battle was won today. For the sake of [member="Saeria Aldan-Keth"] they had to win. Indeed this would be a battle, their it would be.

As now came the force sliding deeper with in the child itself to a place that was closed off. Feeling that Taiden giving Saeria what needed. For it wasn't her alone to battle but if this would purely end in a victory she would have to also help.

As this very thought came to her mind. Pushing deeper but in a way only one could feel like pealing a potatoes very careful and with each stroke making its count. As the weave started in with the paste that was now taking on a glow of its on. As if life was being born, to make each layer of skin protected.

 

[Kei Amadis]

Kei wasn’t much of a healer in times past, he knew battlefield triage but nothing else. So when his Master Coci put her faith in him, he clapped his hands together and said okay to himself, jumping right in. There wasn’t the skill Maya, Coci or even Taiden showed at healing, but he put himself into it for the little girl, more than he could for himself. She deserved to have a life, to grow up, and not to suffer to from the pains of others.

So when Kei extended himself into the healing following Coci. He put himself into the healing, and so visibly began to sweat. For that little girl, trying to stand in front of whatever darkness had her, anything scaring or haunting her. His face tensed, eyes closed like Taiden, while Taiden applied graceful lighter healing, speaking through his current, Kei was more blunt, sending his energies directly to bolster the others, it tired him visibly.

Shielding, a thin invisible force aura blinked back around the girl, warming healing on her physical body, strengthening her own aura.

Layers revealed, past times in crystal. [member="Maya Whitelight"] faced the balance of light and dark inside of Saeria. She’d see an old Jedi Manu Xextos locked in mortal combat with [member="Raien Keth"], the two of them had fought many battles across many worlds. At their peak, one named Ahani who loved both of them had frozen events to save them. Maya stirred that final memory inside the girl, and some of it shifted. Saeria shook lightly, layers of her past coming away, a past the young child had never had a voice in changing.

Not till now

Coci’s healing took what Maya faced and revealed, allowing it to go free, to free her of it. Focusing all four of them together, Saeria’s shaking stopped, she felt that unconditional care, healing and force energy from everyone. A brief smile formed across the girl’s face, but still she slept, not waking, not knowing if this was a dream or really true.

[Coci Heavenshield]

With Maya the master healer, Coci the master infiltrator of the mind, and Kei with strength of power to assist them with energy they would all begin the next stage. Litlle by little the small group would work in unison to bring the girl back from the depths of darkness and isolation.

A sense of happiness began to filter through the force, emitting from the girl which gave Coci heart to think so far they had succeeded. But this is only the beginning and the biggest step is yet to come.

Maya how is she? she asked regarding her physical being and would from now on only converse through telepathy.

Coci began toward her mind. The blockage secure and strong, after countless years of being in stasis her mind had locked down, to almost impenetratable. Coci focused on this now, the built barriers thick with mistrust and self protection.

She began: Saeria, child, the light of force is here to heal you. I am Coci.

Coci wrapped the words around the first of the barriers, embuded with light and a sense of calm. A soothing wrap of white light began to enter the barrier and passed through the first of it.

You are among friends that wish to help you and heal you.

Saeria pulled back, away from the voice and into deeper recesses. Stronger Coci moved forward, peeling back layer upon layer, and behind her she could sense Maya's presence, moving among the ruin with Kei following adding to their collective strength. Encouraged by this, Coci continued, an image of a house, solid walled with little windows to allow light into the darkness within. No door.

Moving to the window in Saeria's mind, Coci attempted to open it, it is locked until Coci's force tendrils weaved to the latch and unlocked it freeing the window to lift before she climbed inside. The room is empty no furniture and no Saeria, Coci could feeling moving within the house, still mistrusting those that enter.

Searching through her mind, Coci located the girl ...

The internal door opened with ease, and walking a long corridor toward the centre of the house, Coci found her. A small child sitting in the dark with her legs pulled up around her chest and her head buried in her knees. She is frightened once more, not able to lift her head to see who was here.

Coci hands raised and through it white light filled the room, not a blinding light but one full of hope and joy and deliverence.

Saeria, look at me ... she moved forward a few steps, Saeria Aldan-Keth .. look at me.

[Maya Carrick]

Flowing around her was nothing but far from what was coming from the warrior. This part of the battle coming to the end now came the next step. Waiting as it always did for the right force bond to touch deep with in those little micro creatures. As she brushed them throw the force. Each one seem to come to life, glowing.

Coming to push forward knowing they couldn't fail not this far into. Pushing forward now wrapping Coci[member="Coci Heavenshield"] with her empathy to make her amplify in the force to keep remaining of the darkness back. Even as she did this feeling more of the stitching of the body to renew it as if one never ached.



View coming in sight only she let her enter first after all what would she be if she didn't take the warrior instinct. Standing guard she would be this one protector, mother instinct as one would have it. That's what she would do staying firm rooted. Being the shield of light to keep the house save to help what deeply rooted in this place. Liking any healer but also using the art of small she have way their starting with her came a burst of light. Weaving around the house as it started up the outer walls then came a natural ablity of empathy once more it was fill with the light. Whisper would be in the wind upon the hope that she was bring to speak those words.


sweet sweet dear [member="Saeria Aldan-Keth"] you have been keep long enough in their lock away its time come out a see brightness of the world, its time to see the darkness is gone.

Feeling [member="Kei Amadis"] it was easy to feel his bond to the group as it came to help force the brightness, as a rainbow came after a storm, their around was the different color. As she knew that [member="Taiden Keth"] that knew her the best would now call him to step forward to aid more then he had up to now.

Saeria’s Dream

They’d managed to reach her, and she hadn’t run off yet.

Saeria was like any little girl wanting to hold on to their parent’s leg and peek at the strangers. Only she didn’t have anyone to hold onto, so she scooped a teddy bear and hid behind it, about half the size of her, you could easily see her but she couldn’t see them! They might both see an eye peek out at [member="Coci Heavenshield"], then go back to hiding behind her tatty old bear zub zub. The bears stitching was coming to pieces, it was not looking good at all, but she loved that teddy bear so much.

She didn’t trust anyone, dream people! Fantasy, that’s what she lived in like most little children. Only she didn’t have anyone but her fantasy. It was a dusty little ruin she was in, black and old, everyone else had gone and been woken up. There was a big posh house somewhere behind her out Coci’s window, but she’d just been stuck in this musty old place looking out at it forever.

Her dream floor was messy, their ruin a dump by now. Her white echani dress was messy, and she had dust on her face, cradling her teddybear in front of her so nobody could see her! Or so she thought!

[member="Maya Whitelight"] was pouring light out into the gap in her mind that Coci had made, and some of her ruin wasn’t as black anymore, little flicks of colors. Maya looked bright’y, shine'y, but Saeria was scared, very scared, and went away to hide under the bed. Part of her was missing, whatever gave people that spark of the force, only when they entered did it come back. It wasn’t in Saeria anymore unless someone else was close, trace of emptiness Her dream mother was somewhere about, magisterial as always. A silver haired Echani looking down. No it was her picture! Even Kiara had been taken out of the ruin, which just left Saeria frightened and alone.

Kiara’s picture drank in all that she saw with her eyes, those pools of silvery attentions eyes might move, or was that just a trick of the light? Kiara was dead now, gone, maybe? Emptiness came from her picture, an emptiness that she’d live her life in, this poor child exposed to it left a longing inside, only Saeria was far too young to know what for.

The picture gave the two Jedi a look like it said, get out of my house, but no words came! Subconscious fear of her mother, and fear of new people, Saeria clung to zub zub, and didn’t know what to do.

The picture of a woman came to Coc's mind, through the young girls subconscious. Or was it the darkness that had encaptured the girl in the first place. Either way it had to go.

They are not in the 'physical world' in the sense that Maya and she have entered the mind of another, and so the illusion of the woman's eyes no physical threat but nor can it be removed in the same manner. We are here to save the child, move aside.

Coci had seen the pretty little thing peeking from behind the bear, so much fear and suspicion, which she expected considering the time since she had been this way.

We are here to save the child, move aside. Coci reached for the picture and turned the frame around so the woman would only see the wall. The young girl, scared moved under her bed.

A barrier of shimmering air seemed to stand between Coci and the girl, it was like suspended water, a film of it and if one was to touch it would feel cold.

Maya's words, filled the air and Coci watched to see the young girls reactions. .... Darkness is gone..

From Coci's body came a small light from her centre, it flittered around the room like a small insect dancing on the air in random patterns, but it had purpose and slowly descended to under the bed and landed on the Saeria's hand that held the bear. As it sat there, it grew in brightness, not blinding but warming and inviting and moresover ... safe.

The light from insect began to fill the room until all the darkness is gone....

Coci walked through the watery barrier, her hands raised to part the way and she stood by the bed before she bent to lower herself down to the floor and and sat in the middle of the light, "What is your bear's name?", she asked with soft voice.

Knowing now what needed to be down having to be that brigde to those that she knew better like that of [member="Taiden Keth"] . Know what [member="Coci Heavenshield"] and she was doing was well above what knowledge of both Taiden maybe even [member="Kei Amadis"]. Calling them with a soft voice to have them come.

Whispering once again to the one.

There is friend that are waiting for you worried about you, don't you want to see some long ago faces, yesss...we are here to bring you to them.

Even so she let herself take a step to use illusionist just like that of the pictures of those waiting for her outside of this little world of hers.

Finding herself only doing what came as a mother that was to given off what a mother so full of that was love that being unconventional towards [member="Saeria Aldan-Keth"]

From within her dream

“Zub Zub”, she spoke from behind her bear as if her bear was speaking. “Saeria isn’t here.” A quiet child’s voice said, waving her bear in front of her at the edge of the bed. Saeria put her nose to it's edge, eyes blinking out between her teddy's legs, moving her bear’s hand to extend a paw out to Coci.

Maya’s rainbow and Coci’s light dazzled her little eyes, she popped out and ran up to the blur, running behind Coci, then back again around her. Looking where her mom’s picture was, “Mom says Saeria has to stay away, bad people find her,” She replied to Maya’s voice, memories of her hiding away from the world, for her own protection at the time but isolation from her mothers and fathers enemies all the same, meant she didn’t have many friends, she had her bear though.

Her room was beginning to light up, and she saw Taiden beside Coci, he looked really funny because he was blinking in and out. From behind her bear there was an excited child’s laugh and she ran through him, back and forth, Taiden seemed to realise this and was playing with her now.

Ending up standing besides Coci, walking her bear back and forth she sat on brighter ground, light in their room, but if anyone spoke to her, she put her bear there instead to speak back. Quietly humming something to herself, settled now in their company, but still here, still sleeping. “Dreamy people,” Saeria said with a little yawn.

Real people were dreams, Dreams were real?
