Private Sacrificing a pawn to gain a queen

Location: Schesa - Chancellery of Unity - Tower of the Left

Reading through a lot of the day to day reports in regards to the Union, was quite a troublesome and tiresome part of being a so-called chosen representative. However, Credius knew he wasn't chosen to be a representative, no...he had taken that position and had been slowly working on establishing himself as an undispensible part of the Union, making sure that there would be enough contingencies in place should he fall from grace by either his own or by any other hand. It was because of this that a certain report coming from some of Schesa's most prominent merchant circles did somewhat tick him off. It seemed that refugees coming from the warzones from the wars between the New Imperial Order and the Sith Empire have started blurting out their thoughts and are actively comparing the Chancellor of the Left to the sith lords of the empire. Though not completely wrong, this commotion has caused certain prominent merchants to get greedy and daringly bold with this information in their possession.

Even if he could've easily drained the life out of those incompetent merchants and their scheming ways, he had to commend them for actually having the guts to stand up against him in such a way, but to leave them thinking they could get away with this unpunished was not on the schedule either. Given this information which had come to light due to some refugees had apparently not spread too far, it was correct for the Chancellor to assume the merchants wished to contain this information as well, to be able to use it for their own ends and needs rather than losing such a possibly valuable piece of dirt on Credius. Dirt, which it truly was, as he had foreswarn the life and code of the sith, but still...he had been one and with the Zweihander Union in the process of trying to create important connections to the more Jedi-centered factions in the galaxy, this could become damaging in the long term.

"Hmm, this might be something best left to Die Stille Hand," The Chancellor reached for the central console on his desk, opening communication with the offices of the ISB located within the Chancellery. His hope was that they'd at least be able to send someone his way with a good reputation and a somewhat higher rank. After all, what he would be asking was something which would need a certain degree of skill in delegation, interrogation and a ruthless demeanor only those who had already served properly would have, though given the fact that the division of Die Stille Hand was still in the middle of reforming, it could just as easily be some rookie they'd send his way.
