- Armor Add on: While this is not a bracer in and of itself, it is an add on available to attach to other armor sets, and gives non-FUs within the GA a leg up against lightsaber weilders.
- OW!: While it's not a weapon in and of itself, the gauntlets can be used as one in a pinch. Not recommended, but ya know, if you're that desperate. It'll wound someone, at the very least. Definitely not a lethal option.
- Catch this!: While originally designed with lightsabers in mind, other melee weapons are perfectly able to be caught with these.
- Saberbreaker: The gauntlet with originally designed with one purpose in mind: Disable lightsabers. The blades of the gauntlet are made with phrik, while the inside of the fang is lined with cortosis weave, allowing any saber caught to be shorted out.
- Swordcatcher: A traditional melee weapon caught in the blades will be left to the whim of the user of this utility, allowing the user to manipulate and potentially snap the weapon of an opponent.
- Deployable: Designed to be hidden within a gauntlet, the Saberbreaker ejects out when needed.
- Catch These-OW!: The ability to deploy these blades gives a hidden bonus. It can be used defensively to block hand to hand strikes, potentially wounding an opponent in the process.
- Vibroweapons: While a glancing blow can bounce off the phrik, catching one or receiving a solid hit could damage the blades.
- Ranged Weapons: This utlity is not designed to protect against ranged attacks.
- Armored Target: Using this to strike back against melee attacks is cool, but if their hand is armored, it's probably not gonna do anything.
Designed by Jedi Knight Jonyna Si in her free time, the Cathar built and presented this addition to traditional NJO armor to the council, gifting them it as a bonus to their arsenal. Now free for anyone within the GA to implement, the Saberbreaker acts as a hidden defense against melee attacks of all kinds. Catching a lightsaber in it's phrik fangs, the blade would then be led into the inside of the inside of the fangs which are lined with cortosis weave that then short out the saber, ideally. If not, the blade is then stuck and can be handled by the gauntlet's user freely until the blade is turned off. Works the same for traditional melee weapons.
