STRENGTHS
  • Low Lethality - The stun setting of the weapon is completely harmless, able to render the target unconscious. The Ion flaw while potentially deadly doesn't always result in death with most targets ending up with some form of permanent nerve or brain damage.
WEAKNESSES
  • Ion Flaw - The Ion setting on the weapon is set quite high, making it dangerous to fire at organic targets like most high powered Ion weapons. If an organic target is hit by an ion round at best they'll be electrocuted and left with nerve damage and possible scarring. At worst they'll end up dead.
  • Range - Like many stun weapons the pistol has an incredibly low range making its only uses in close quarters.
  • Ammo Capacity - Extremely low ammo capacity with 25 shots per magazine the weapon is not designed for sustained gun fights.
DESCRIPTION
The S-6 Stun/Ion Pistol is Orkins Industries first attempt at a non-lethal weapon and its final product does show this. While the weapon is for the most part non-lethal the Ion setting is set far too high, an oversight made as Orkins Industries rushed to produce these weapons, unfortunately skipping over crucial testing. The flaw nearly had the weapon pulled from production if not for its popularity, with many security companies liking the fact the weapon had potential to kill while still being classed as non-lethal.
