CONTENT INFORMATION
Ryloth: A History From Then Until Now, First Edition, presents as a holobook. The contents of the book are a history of Ryloth from it’s liberation at the hands of The Confederacy of Independent Systems until now. Each significant event is detailed in its own unit outlining what happened, and the significant people involved in the event. Each unit is broken down into lessons, or chapters, making the book an excellent resource for the historical education of students across the planet and the galaxy at large.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
It was not an easy undertaking to compile the history of Ryloth in one publication, but the author, Elav Doneeta felt it was at least important enough to chronicle the recent history of the world under Confederate Rule. The Twi’lek scholar wanted all to be aware of historical fact, and have a record of what a free and independent Ryloth truly looked like.

The book begins with an overview of what Ryloth was like before Confederate rule. Mentions of the Hutt Cartel and other various slaver organizations are given their proper place in this portion of the book. A true and accurate picture of the long ties of slavery felt by the Twi’leks of Ryloth is on full display.

This section is followed by the account of the Liberation of Ryloth. Details of the campaign and battles which saw slavers driven from the planet are covered here. The particular hatred for slavery felt by the members of the Confederacy is noted in this section, as well as an entire lesson dedicated to the Confederacy’s zero tolerance policy on slavery. This ends the unit which transitions toward early life among the Confederacy.

The third unit covers the construction era of Ryloth. During this time the Confederacy of Independent Systems invested heavily in the planets infrastructure, and the development of bio domes to bring the Twi’leks out of the caves they once lived in. The project also provided employment for a massive number of Twi’leks that would otherwise look to sell themselves or their children for credits. The struggle of breaking that mentality is also highlighted in this section. One construction project of note was Sinner’s Well, the personal home of Vicelord Darth Metus.

The fourth unit covers what life under the Confederacy looked like. Such topics like the Confederacy’s philosophy of Planetary Sovereignty and Individual Freedom are covered. This unit also covers the free and fair election of their Viceroy, Lyla Quinn, the first Twi’lek to represent Ryloth on the political stage of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. This unit truly paints the picture of how free Ryloth truly is.

Unit five covers the founding of the Mandragora on Ryloth. This section also describes their history, and their establishment in the Nightlands. Over the years this religion and force practice has seen changes, but the core of who they are remains the same. Their work to tame the beasts of the Nightlands is chronicled as well.

Other units and entries are in work to be added as new editions will inevitably be published, however the main purpose of this publication has always been to show the galaxy a free and independent Ryloth, a world that without the Confederacy of Independent Systems always falls into a cycle of slavery and oppression. In fact one thing became abundantly clear to the author, a point he states throughout the publication, without the Confederacy Ryloth would never know freedom. As has been the pattern, when outside forces have left, slavery always returns.

Shortly after the publication became available, Elav Doneeta quickly became a household name among the citizens of Ryloth. The primary copy of his work resides in the Capitol Building in the office of the Viceroy.
