ROSE DORCE
- BACKGROUND

Life had been simple.
Their family had been an ordinary one - loving parents and the two sisters to make them proud. Rose was the younger of the two siblings, always looking up at her big sister.
Both girls grew up well and would have both gotten respectful, lady-like jobs. But the unthinkable had put a complete stop to those plans.
At first it was the destruction of the motherworld not far from them. Then came the insurgency into the rest of Chiss space. The Alliance had been able to beat back the Maw, but not soon enough. The Dorce family had been one of the casualties that had been unable to flee in time.
The sisters had been separated in the chaos. One thinking the other had not survived but both equally determined to exact vengeance for it. Unbeknownst to the other, both had made their way to the New Imperial Order's military ranks to be able to take the fight directly to the Maw.
But Rose had been the luckier one in the end, being assigned to the 501st rather than the 117th like her sister. While her sister faced harrowing odds on Noris, Rose had been deployed to a completely different front at the time.
Upon her shore-leave post-annihilation of most of the 117th, Rose was approached by a soldier that had survived by the skin of his teeth. The story the newly promoted and heartbroken Master Sergeant Danny Evans told her, was enough to break the hardened Chiss soldier's heart all over again.
The Chiss Lieutenant made sure to apply for a transfer for Evans to her own platoon in the 501st. She needed the man that had stood by her sister's side by her own as well if she was to hunt down the Sith that had truly taken her sister from her this time.
Aside from the Maw, Rose now had another target to remove from the Galaxy.
The Maw was defeated before Rose learned what had happened to the bastard that had killed her sister. She was aware of several Imperial iterations led by the very man that had brought the Maw down on her sister and the Empire both of the Chiss had known.
Rose and what was left of the Boom Platoon that had been under command in the Empire had traversed the Galaxy, mostly as mercenaries, refusing to bow to the Sith...until news reached them of an organisation led by the very same Tarkin from the Empire. For a change, there seemed to be some hope for Order within the Galaxy again.
The Chiss and her loyalists made their way to Nirauan once again to see for themselves what this Initiative was about.
With their experience in artillery, they were assigned to an artillery battalion under command of
Jaryg Syn
within the Initiative's growing Army. The uniform was much different from what they were used to, but what excited all of them was the improvement in equipment. Where, before, her Platoon had been limited to single use mortars, they now received much better artillery technology. Now they could really bring the fight to the Sith - she still hadn't forgiven any of them for the loss of her home and family.
Now elevated to Captain within the Battalion and promotions to her long-time loyalists to boot, the next leg of Rose's journey was about to begin...

+Survivor- Rose perseveres against all odds - she has a resilience by now in her life that stems from past hardships. This is a woman that will keep coming back, despite getting knocked down, making her an irritant to most when they think they have beaten her.
STRENGTHS
+Soldier- This Chiss is a career soldier through and through - with experience in artillery and explosives to boot. She knows her way around weapons and is not afraid to use them against her enemies.
+Tactical- Rose has quite the sharp mind and will seek new roads that can be followed if things get hot - even if they are unconventional.
-Normal- Rose is not Force Sensitive at all, which makes her almost easy pray for Force Users, despite her resilience. She may also be a career soldier, but she's definitely not Special Forces. She is limited in her skills and that can cost her dearly.
WEAKNESSES
-Sacrificial - She cares deeply for her team and is the kind of person to sacrifice herself so they can get away - much like her sister. Yet, with her gone, they would still be vulnerable to attack despite their training. The key to defeating her is to get to them.
-Holds a grudge - She's like a dog with a bone - she won't let go until something is gone - like her hatred for Sith. She will not stop chasing until they are either they or she is dead - the latter of which is more likely.
