- Enables Force Users to wield druidic-like powers such as plant surge.
- Enables Force Users the ability to heal at distance so long as this is within a four meter radius.
- Creates up to three ‘light vines’ in which Force Users can control (assuming they can focus on the vines and the fight at the same time).
- Allows the Force User to wield the element of ‘Earth’ within a two meter radius.
- Fortunately or unfortunately, the users of these lightsaber crystals will eventually become part of the Earth themselves. Whether this is as a tree, or simply returning to the Earth as dust - depends on the nature of their death.
- Once bonded the Force User commits to utilizing this lightsaber crystal for the duration of their lives.
- Plant Surge: Utilizing this crystal enables the lightside aligned Force User to channel energy into the plants around them, within a four meter radius.
- Earth Bender: So long as there is ‘Earth’ that is to say, plant life, dirt, and overall flora or vegetation they are able to ‘bend’ this element to their will. This also means that any species of flora is subject to their power, so long as these species are within a two meter radius.
- Great Healer: Like T’Ra Saa, this crystal allows one to be a great healer. Taking away what ails others, and taking it upon themselves. So long as those who need to be healed are within a four meter radius.
- Light Vines: By utilizing the Force User as a conduit, the Force User can channel the lightsaber’s energy within a two meter radius and create up to three separate vines of light energy.
- Praise the Sun: For each moment whether voluntarily or involuntarily, the lightsaber crystal (and most likely lightsaber) will need time to recharge by being out in the sun. The Force User will also feel the need to recharge by spending time with the sun.
- Tree of Life: For every wound, you heal, so too will you gain this wound. The Force User who wields this crystal in their lightsaber, and heals others - will find their body slowly turning into Earth. This means to say, their skin becomes like wood, their hair becomes like the brambles that grow from the ground. They’ll come to rely more and more upon on sun and water, and less on food - but they’ll also begin to lose themselves to life and eventually become one with the Force, and one with the Earth.
- Corruption: For those who turn away from the light, for every moment you spend with the dark. You shall gain thorns along your body, and pestilence will befall you. For you betray the very thing that empowers you and, you betray the life and memories of Nat Skywalker and T’Ra Saa.
- The Green: The longer one wields this crystal and uses its powers, the more they yearn to be part of the Forest. They crave to be outside and lay amongst the trees, and the more they are away from the Green the weaker they become until it is as if someone has deprived them of oxygen. Their eyes begin to change into deep emerald green, and their body soon turns color until they resemble the very foliage they crave.
- This lightsaber crystal bonds with the user once activated. Once activated a set of vines wrap around the hilt and the user’s forearm. Should the bonded user die the lightsaber crystal will break and the hilt will be rendered broken. Corrupted users will find that their lightsaber crystal will begin to decay and the hilt will begin to erode.
- Darkside aligned users who attempt to touch, corrupt or bleed the crystal will find themselves burning (i.e. Force Light), or feel compelled to turn away from the darkside. This depends on the Force User themselves.
Sometime before Mishel Kryze was captured by the Sith Empire. She had travelled to Taivas within the Zhar System. Gaining passage was easy enough, at the time she was not only a Jedi but the sister of the CIS’ Minister of Commerce, Alessandra Malvern. Mishel had been researching lore on the world regarding Nat Skywalker and Neti Jedi Master T’Ra Saa (of whom is rumored to have been the source of a lightside nexus on Monastery).
Legends tells the story of Nat and T’Ra Saa, the latter having planted herself within the planet. Both she and Nat Skywalker also known as Bantha “Rawk” sacrificed themselves so that others might live. Mishel began to cross reference the legendary story with more recent accounts of ‘mystical’ happenings on the planet. This led Mishel to a tree, and around this tree were clusters of tiny crystals.
Collecting a sample, Mishel took these back to her ship and studied them. It was there that she was able to observe the crystals’ effects. She wrote them down and then went back to the planet’s surface to collect a few more crystals and shape them into lightsaber crystals for her fellow Jedi and lightside aligned Force users.
