Description: Designed as Crina's mobile command center for officers to provide commands to their troops on the battlefield, the Ronto class walker is a large scale troop transport that can carry a large number of infantry and support units around the battlefield. It was constructed to handle mountainous terrain to get soldiers across mountain zones during combat in large numbers as the cable launchers on standard issue carbines does have a limit.
Though its defenses are light, mostly working to protect itself against long range artillery, bombing runs, and missile strikes, the Ronto class sacrifices offensive cababilities to carry large numbers of soldiers as well as to offer a place for commanders to coordinate their forces in safety. To protect itself as a mobile command base and transport for soldiers and equipment the Ronto class walker is constructed with many layers of durasteel and duraplast to withstand multiple direct hits, and is coated with duranium which can withstand high heat from energy strikes and is said to be able to handle glancing blows from lightsabers, though not direct ones.
