Rolling for Snake Eyes [Rebel Alliance]

"Sure thing, admiral Xue." He said with a smirk while closing his journal, probably not many have ever seen what could be there, usually he writes official things, mission progress, notes, "thoughts" about many things which is indeed strange is that none of these "thoguhts" are what they seem to be, some are written in such a complex or weird manner that it could be hard to understand what is meant to be and even then there is no reassurance that it is indeed true. Probably only Blane could tell what he really thinks about anything or anyone as for why is he doing this, it is possible for him to not like sharing his thoughts with others, or maybe even the journal is meant to be a deadly trap for whoever wants to steal infromations about him or the rebellion.
"I always liked seeing new places and with this ocasion I could find out if the Miraluka have... eyes even without being able to use them." He said getting up "Should I bring my weapons too? Im not so sure if it would be indicated in a mission like this but neither if there could be any danger on the planet."

The Rebel emissary party had a standard GR-75 on hand for shuttling purposes--as well as transport of some defense equipment to provide the Miraluka people with should they choose to join the cause. The landing party would be taking this ship down to the surface and leaving Home One in orbit. The admiral considered it wise to come with enough weaponry to impress the locals, but not too much of a show of force. They needed to understand they had an option, though Xue sincerely hoped they would welcome the Alliance's presence without batting an eyelash.

Except they did not have eyelashes, so that was convenient.

"Bring only your gun, yeah, but leave it in the ship unless they need see we have enough power to protect them, yeah." Then she motioned for Nightfall to follow her and made her way through the corridors to the docking partition, striding through the airlock tube and boarding the classic transport vessel known as Whispering Wind. "Here we are go."

After the docking tube was retracted and berthing separation was confirmed, the GR-75 began its drift towards the world below, lackadaisically allowing a freefalling descent until it would pierce the more concentrated layers of atmosphere. The admiral meandered through the halls until she came to the pilot's bridge and strapped in for the ride. "You are ready for go, Commander Melec. Time for show."

After the confirmation from the Admiral, Juwiela took off from the hangar, following alongside the transport at the same leisurely pace. It took all of her self-control to not simply race ahead of the larger vessel. Alpheridies was a planet she had never truly set foot on, though she knew it as home from day one, learning of its culture from her father, a culture she shared but hadn't been raised among. This was her chance to experience it firsthand and perhaps learn something of her people while working with them so that they might perhaps join a cause greater than themselves.

"I'd remember that they're largely peaceful. Don't bring any guns aside from what you'd usually carry on your person. We want to demonstrate our capabilities, not scare them off." Chances were both [member="Krasnaya Xue"] and [member="Blane Nightfall"] knew as much, but in their business it never hurt to know exactly what one was getting into. Most Miraluka typically chose to stray from conflict, either avoiding it wherever they could or otherwise aligning themselves with the Jedi or a sect similar. To join an active military wasn't a typical choice, or so she had been told. Then again, she was a hybrid.

Once they entered the atmosphere she made the necessary adjustments, aligning her course with the predetermined landing site, a spaceport located within one of the larger settlements that took the place of the cities that would usually sprawl the surface of most any other planet. Landing before the shuttle itself, she began shutting down her ship's systems, acutely aware of the fact that a small crowd was no doubt already beginning to gather due to the presence of an outsider. Visitors weren't an everyday occurrence here.

Taking her time, she unzipped her flightsuit, leaving her in the clothes she wore beneath. Her helmet was pulled off and set at her feet, and she ran her fingers through her hair, popping open the cockpit of her fighter. Without so much as a warning or friendly 'hello' she leapt from the confines of her ship, landing lightly on her feet, cushioning her landing with the Force. Slowly she reached out with those same ethereal tendrils to the numerous auras about her, extending an essence of peace and well-being. The Miraluka's primary method of communication was through that energy field, connecting them in a manner no other species could harness. It was that she would put to work here.

Blane nodded and follow the admiral to the ship with no real sound coming from his mouth, sometimes he would be the type who makes jokes even in the middle of danger, other times he would simply be silent and reflect upon something. Who could tell what was in his mind...Is not like he would trust someone that much to actually talk about it, sure there was Max who was closer to that point and Thane but that was more respect than anything else in the end it may take sometime to make Blane not be on his guard all the time, but perhaps this was a good thing, this was he could not be taken by surprise.

"Today mother and father sent their children to play with the moles, for the uncle was busy extending the legacy." So he wrote in the journal a little fragment, yet who could tell what that meant? This may be terribly obvious or incredibly complicated, should anyone read the rest... well it would take some time to understand... if you understand. It was more a matter of guessing.

"Affirmed, Commander," Admiral Xue responded, noting their Miralukan friend's equal advice and feeling assured that she had made the right call. "We will have SCION turrets constructed if they are willing. I hope they understand." Indeed, the residents of Alpheridies were known for their peaceful and almost isolationist culture, but they must come to realize that the Sith would never allow that to be preserved should they reach this sector. And, as selfish as it may come off, the Rebels needed to gain their support before someone else used their natural gifts against the light powers of the galaxy. The mission had a sensation of a 'race against time'.

It was only a matter of minutes before Whispering Wind punched through the stratus cloud layer and began a calm, vertical descent to the surface below. "We must wait for the Rogue Leader to greet them before we make further approach," Krasnaya informed Blane, removing her restraining belts and peering through the viewport for just the slightest of closer views. There was always something new to be discovered, even for a spacefaring navywoman like herself. "How are your feelings? I think it should be a good time."

"Like I am going to be borned again... Letting away the fact that I don't exactly remember that feeling, but I am pretty sure I was nervous." He ended the little joke with a nod, he didn't considered himself as funny, essentially he was mostly mocking sith, but also doing these jokes in time of battle to prove his men that nothing has to be always deadly serious and that no matter how much they fear the enemy is not always that bad. "Too bad Sparky is not here, he was always the "use a peaceful solution" sort." Sparky being Varius, it was rather a weird nickname but probably there was a story behhind it, he then checked his AR-47 and made sure his right glove is well place on his hand.

It wasn't a big thing yet he didn't know much about diplomacy, the only thing he did before being part of rebellion was to be a mercenary and that implied a different kind of diplomacy. There was need of soldiers because it was a time of war and peace is far away... maybe too far, but what if there would be peace someday? Even he wondered what could do in that future, war was in his blood and death in his bullets, but he was still a human, one that did not know a normal life, or a peaceful one.
