Rogue Protocol Heist! - Hit the convoy.
After the last Heist was a big success, fantastic writing all around!
It's time for another.
The rogue's and you will be trying to capture a large, fast-moving, Tactical Armored Crawler mid-journey through crowded city streets, likely in all manner of chaos.
These heists are fast-paced, full of life and energy. If I am DMing I try and tailor the challenges/foils/obstacles to your characters, but that takes me a few posts to see who and what your character is like.
Think huge repulsor craft, corporate police (echosec), maybe other surprises nudge nudge wink wink, trying to board it, and take it while its moving. Fast and the Furious Echelon style.
I am, as always, open to ideas on these if you have a different preference on the target, or a pm if you've an idea for the one after this!
Spots Open
One: Open to anyone.
Two/Three: For each heist now I'll leave extra spots open for the Rogue's (or close friends), and yep, if you've saved their butts on a job or are a keyrunner (fixer), you automatically qualify!
We'll cap out at 4 of us max, though, so 1-3 people here.
Ideas! You can be:
1, An independent hire for one job. Any one of a thousand characters can fit this. We are tech and gunslinger heavy in these threads, to keep a parity with the challenges. Less force use more NFU but lower ranked/powered FU's are fine.
2, A young or old hopeful looking to make a name in the crew, if you want an in to the group.
3, Opposition. Maybe you've a cool-looking codex sub you want these guys to hit and to get a chance to play in for once.
4, Acting as a pure DM throwing things at me/us.
It can be solo with Glade/Ghost or a full or partial team. I don't care. Last time we had 3 pcs and split most of the NPCs off, which worked pretty well, having them in the background affecting the story.
No pressure to post, but I will push us on if we lag, so if you are lacking in time, or uncertain on your workload, I ask you to give this one a miss.
If I am DM'ing I roll dice for the background and for the NPCs. Never for anything directly to do with your posts, just for flavor and tension to give you (and me) more to work with. And to keep it fresh. If you need an example, check the last heist.
Thanks for reading.
