Private Rituals of Creation

Sith Queen of Krayiss II

In the depths of her palace, away from prying eyes, not that she had any reason to hide, but the tasks set before her seemed to demand secrecy, Darth Morta awaited Vakhari Korden. Morta had invited the flesh sculptor to Krayiss II in hopes that she could learn the other side of the Sith Alchemy coin. Morta was skilled in the creation of arms, armour, and artifacts using Sith Alchemy, but lacked skills in fleshcrafting.

In preparation for this, Morta had a room fitted out as an alchemy lab with several other rooms on the floor set up to hold experiments and specimens, and once she was properly trained, her valued creations.

For now, though, Morta ran her fingers over one of the transparisteel beakers containing a mutagen, she'd had this lab filled up with every biochemical tool and solution that she and the best minds she could get her hands on thought it would need, but she didn't know how much she'd actually end up needing. The few treatises that Morta had been able to get her hands on about flesh shaping had been rather light on institutions and equipment, treating it as more of an art than a science, and due to her lack of early education it meant without proper instrucion to base further experiments off of she was hopelessly lost.

Another had sought her aid, which seemed to be a common occurrence as of late. Perhaps her efforts within the field had been noticed, or it was thanks in part to her surprise family relations. No matter what the answer was, she didn't mind.

As the girl arrived she took in the view, this palace looked pleasing to the eyes, much like the Lutris manor... Albeit the manor was almost inhumanly sterile.

What made her the most curious was the fact that even this far from the capital of the Sith you could still find such impressive and occupied structures. For now she would have to make a mental note of some fresh curiosities that entered her mind, taking a step inside the palace the girl was guided to where Morta was.

The queen of this palace would see as a snowy head of hair peeked around a corner, a pair of ruby eyes blinking a few time before the soft face would give a smile.

"Darth Morta?"

The stranger asks, her presence and tone didn't seem to carry the normally imposing aura that Sith tended to carry. Her size and smile could be seen as disarming in a way, yet it would take a fool to dismiss her entirely.

"I do believe you had scheduled an appointment with me? Vakhari Lutris.. I see we have some different equipment to work with."

She hops on in to the room, lugging about a bag bigger than herself she lets out a huff as she struggled to lift and place it on to the table, the mystery bag letting out a heavy thud.

"Yes I did," Morta answered. "Your skills in the arts of fleshcrafting are well known in certain circles. Whereas mine are non-existent, and that's being generous."

Continuing with a shug, she said, "I wasn't sure what equipment we needed, the writings I found were pretty light on instruction, so I just had the place outfitted with everything a biochemical lab needs. Whatever ends up being superfluous, I can have it taken out later."

Morta
peered with an idle curiosity at the bag that Vakhari brought in with her, wondering what kind of equipment the younger Arkanian had brought with her. Morta's same idle curiosity also applied to Vakhari's force aura; it wasn't typical of a Sith's, but she didn't take it at face value. Someone running in Sith circles definitely should have had more of a dark stain to their aura, so Morta had to assume that she was exerting some sort of control over its outward appearance constantly, which sent a small alarmbell off in her head, when around fellow members of the order, who felt the need to hide thier strength in the darkside?

"You are the professional," Morta continued, "So why don't you tell me what I need to do to get started?"

"No need to doubt yourself so much, it is a process for most people. There is no shame in starting with the basics, only a shame in never bothering to learn!"

And learning can mean many things, one being mistakes. They happen, such was the process.. Yet she always came prepared. Lifting an ECLM out of her bag and setting it ready on the table, her eyes glance around at the tools at her disposal.

"Better to have an abundance of supplies rather than too few, right?"

Vakhari smiles a bit, seeming to still not have the standard attitude of a Sith.
"You are the professional," Morta continued, "So why don't you tell me what I need to do to get started?"

"I suppose it depends on what all you are wishing to create, but since we are starting with the basics and something on the smaller side.. The basic alchemical compounds along with either a creature you want to change, or custom built DNA you want to twist through the spell."

There already seemed to be ritual compounds ready to go, much to the delight of Vakhari.

"What sorts of creature are you wanting? Don't spare any detail! We want this to be exactly how you want it, keep your desires in mind."

"I do have an idea of what I wish to create, the problem I have is a lack of knowledge on where to start from."

Motra brushed by a large tank filled with a translucent red-tinged fluid on her way to a small holo projector built into one of the workstations and activated it. A hologram of a four-legged creature the size of a small livestock animal sprang to life, leathery skin, chitinous armour, and a pair of arms tipped with razor-sharp talons for piercing and tearing. Numerous spikes poked out from the chitin to protect the beast in a up close confrontation.

"This is what I intend to create, fairly simple, in my amateur opinion." She said, "I intend them to be used in small groups led by specially trained officers, so they need not be much more intelligent than a house pet, though much more aggressive."

"Where the complexity comes in is that I want the individuals to be sterile drones; reproduction is to be done by a small number of queens laying pre-fertilized eggs so that they can be taken to imprint on their handlers from hatching."

Despite being told to spare no detail, Morta felt it was better to paint in broad strokes to give the general idea of what she needed from these beasts, and work down to the smaller details as they became relevant.
