Name: Bright Star's Entertainment District "Rio Vivo"
Image Source: Currently w/o image. Imagine a mixture of French and Spanish architecture with a modern flare. At night, the high rises are bright, with more modern music, where the White Collar population will hang out, while the lower levels are darker, more dank, with more ethnic and Appalachian style music for the Blue Collar crowd. It will give the image of a cyberpunk scene, as well.
Intent: To create a flagship resort location managed by Bright Star Entertainment on Lianna.
Classification: Entertainment District/Resort area
Location: Outside Lianna City, along an artificial waterway
Affiliation: Bright Star Entertainment Group, Tion Hegemony
Description: With the purchase of Bright Star E.G. by Marek Starchaser, the company started to grow exponentially.With Marek's work with the Tion Hegemony and his friendship and business relationship with Sasha Santhe, he felt the need to move to the primary production world of Lianna. Making business moves to purchase a few blocks of of the outskirt of Lianna City, he was working to create something new and unique. Thus the Rio Vivo was born. Measuring out to 19 city blocks, the resort offers multi leveled casino where each floor introduces a new and fully immersed theme, the machines, uniforms, music, lighting, and false vistas on the exterior walls of each floor lending to the image, a high end shopping center, live music venue, as well as an indoor amusement park. Focusing on the ways to let people unwind, and to not take away from the expanded businesses on the Bright Star star cruiser that orbited the world, there were no recording stations or virtual gaming.
This location was focused to bring relaxation to the white and blue collars of Lianna. Two streets run the length of the resort, one primarily dealing in local artisan and craft wares, and its counter part, Whiskey Row, which capitalizes on night life. Offering options from strip clubs, cabarets, to a variety of bars, including cantinas, dance clubs, honky tonks, and jizz clubs, the Row offers some of the best music, food and drinks in the Sector.
Offering a variety of things to do, there is a monthly festival to honor the world, where drinks become cheaper for those that are residents, and travel to the world, on Bright Star liners, is cheaper, to bring in tourists to enjoy the sector and the resort. Patrolled by civilian polices drones that will report to Lianna PD, crime in the area remains to the drunken masses, and not from premeditated attacks, however there has been reports of gang violence growing in the district.
Underneath the resort is one of the sector's largest vaults. This location is the primary credit depot for Bright Star and any partner corporations. Built several stories underground in a durasteel walled tube, there is only one way in or out. This is by the turbolift. To access the lift, two security guards must key you in, after the computer approves your voice print and biometric print.
Scans on your person during the lift down will confirm if the person is alone or under any form of stress. Should there be any extra beings, they will be targeted by a team of HYDRA War droids when the lift opens.
At the bottom of the lift is a labyrinth of walls and paths, all well lit but there is only one path to lead you to the vault itself. The wrong ways will lead to dead ends, laser walls, and additional attack drones which are given the right to eliminate any targets. The one fault of the system is that in the Tatooine location, there is a map in the office of CEO Marek Starchaser. This office needs to be opened using the Force and telekinesis and the right amount of Force lightning to activate the controls to open the door.
History: The Rio Vivo district of Lianna City was not always the glowing gem of entertainment in the system. The district focused around the same thing it was now, entertainment and alcohol. When Marek Starchaser joined Haor Chall with Santhe Corp and purchased Bright Star E.G. He made a point to buy out all the properties and establishments that were in the area. Bringing them under the Bright Star banner, he was able to make the district a cohesive network of businesses. Still building off of the history of the location, there was already the White and Blue collar separation, and while he wants to unify the businesses and clientele to prevent any form of gang or organized crime violence, it is slow going.
And as such, this location became the perfect area to place a vault, due to the troubles in the area and it not being the perfectly structured place, hiding in plain sight.
