The operation, performed in conjunction with Anover Chase Industries, was a success and granted him knowledge of the Paths -- though Gren was horrified to discover that a surveillance device was installed into his brain that gathered sensory data from his left eye. Gren gored out his own eye and barely escaped the laboratory alive. The smuggler wandered the galaxy in search of employment, with questions of the secrets of the universe.
