Description: The Kitty 15 is essentially an AR-15/M-4 series rifle that has been made most pretty for the big manly Sith gentleman that ordered it. It's a gas operated, air cooled, shoulder fired rifle that fires from the open bolt position. Ammunition is fed from 30 round magazines (not clips, magazines), and while there are larger capacity drums, the use thereof is not recommended, as they're mostly crap.
Like all weapons in this family, it must be kept relatively clean, or it will jam. Attempting to run cheap ammo will make it jam. Attempting to use cheap magazines will make it jam. Attempting to call the magazines clips is rumored to make it jam as well.
Capable of placing accurate fire out to 500 meters, the Kitty-15 is a precision weapon. However, the small rounds leave something to be desired in stopping power. Though a hit to a vital organ will likely be fatal, people have been known to take shots to the meat of the arms and legs and not immediately notice, until suddenly they realized they were bleeding out because the femoral and brachial arteries aren't all that hard to hit. The rounds will be shrugged off by most armor, although a skilled marksman with the use of both eyes and the ability to perceive depth could accurately target weak spots.
The underbarrel grenade launcher is capable of placing somewhat accurate fire out to 150 meters, though that too requires both eyes and functioning depth perception. It can fire all the standard 40mm grenades (HE, HEAT, HEAP, smoke, flare, etc). It is a single shot weapon, reloaded through the breech. It is also quite pretty.
