A missive would find its way to the associate of the Lord of Hunger; Her ... not through the middleman as the message appeared to be coming from that very middleman themselves. The words within the missive, hidden within a standard issue N&Z Umbrella advert and encrypted by KRONOS' very elaborate coding systems, would reach the associate without issue, no matter where she'd be, no matter in what state, the missive would pop up on nearby holophones, navigational computers, even other advertisement boards, as long as there was a camera to capture her image, a microphone to record her voice, it would find her.

The sound of air scrubbers whirred somewhere above the enigma as they sat across from the new CEO of N&Z Umbrella Corporation. Her--Sith Master in the Rule of Two, the self-proclaimed Dark Lord of the Sith, and conspiratorialist from N&Z's Section C-- rested their crimson gaze upon Amalia after accepting their invitation to attend their meeting in person.

Somewhere in the throng of conspiracy, commerce and politics (practiced by both women as they accomplished their set and defined goals motivated or inspired by both their corporate or political interests backed by the mysterious Lord of Hunger) hung the eerie white lights of the Cone of Silence as they began their meeting-- a relic of a late Director from the failed state remembered as the Empire of the Lost.

With their plot shielded from records, archivists or revisionists-- each inspired by their own whims, which in turn, were broken or moulded to suit their shared agendas-- Her reclined in their seat with a relaxed pose which betrayed them for even in present company, who headed a galactic spanning conglomerate of corporate power, not even Her was safe despite being protected within the shadow of it's vast umbrella.

"I often contemplate the moment..." Her said.

It was almost like she was talking to herself. "...As they stood there in the dirt. Victorious. Conquerors of all that was in reach, and everything that was theirs to be had, only to look up upon their skies to see alien craft emerging from the void to take it all from them."

The whir of the scrubbers disappeared as white lights cast over both women. There was no sound here except for them, and them alone.

"I confess that the idea of it moves me a great deal."

As she spoke, Her leaned forward in their seat to place their head directly into the cone's light.

"What does the C.E.O want with me today?"

Leaning a bit backwards, Amalia calmly let the person on the opposite side of the table talk, their voice hardly registering within her mind as she could not care too much about Her 's musings. Unlike her master, unlike the one she truly served and owed everything to, Amalia didn't need the theatrics, she didn't desire any form of recognition nor did it bother her to listen to the woman's words, the meaning of the speech already began to fade as she turned her eyes towards the other woman when she finally adressed the newest N&Z CEO directly. "There will never be any victory for those who deceive their own mind..."

A calm, cold smirk appeared on the otherwise practically expressionless face of Amalia, her gloved right hand calmly removing a strand of jetblack hair from her face, a singular, longwinded blink showing off her elegant, yet strangely sterile appearance.

"There are a few things that are on the agenda," Lowering her right hand and clasping it together with her left, the woman created a suspension bridge to hold up her face as she leaned on the back of her grasping hands, not losing visual contact with the one sitting opposite from her. "I desire detailed reports on the progress of Vum. The quarterly figures, the economic impact this project will have and ofcourse... whether or not you have been able to create a stable network for yourself to conduct your dealings without too much attention."

Reaching inside her vest, a small metal box with duraflex lining was recovered, bearing the insignia of the Section C division from within the greater N&Z, With a fluid motion, the woman opened up the zipper keeping the metal bow closed. Within it, tucked neatly in a foam casing, a small transparisteel ampule was visible. "What is more pressing a matter though, is to find ourself a window of opportunity to test this weapon of Section C properly"
