Reunited At Last

As this was the first time on Teth for both of them, Thurion figured a little exploration was due while bringing his friend @[member="Daux"] along to see the sights. And many sights there were; almost every view was more beautiful and grander than the last one, with the sun making itself ever present on top of the sky. Flocks of birds of all colours and shapes flew in wedge formations in the distance, their faint, echoing cries reaching the ears of the two friends wandering freely around the vicinity of the temple. Kitty would bounce around on all fours, attempting to catch the occasional butterfly or small frogs hopping around. The soft roaring of leaves ruffling in the wind made for a delicate feast for the ears, when paired with the singing of birds. If there was a more peaceful place in the known Galaxy, he did not care to find out. This was serenity embodied, right here.

While the discussion of the grown-ups could be heard faintly in the distance, still, Thurion wanted to see what the inside of the temple looked like, and led Daux along with him through one of the side entrances. Despite looking like it's been deserted for some time, it lit up pretty well during sunlight-hours. The place was huge, though not as big as the one on Tython or Coruscant, granted. It was still more than enough room for the group of people that had shown up, though. Master Qae had maintained it well, it seemed. Walking up the main stairwell, the two found themselves on the upper floor, and the first room they came up was one of the dormatories, already furnished and everything, as if awaiting their arrival. It was not a large room, as it seemed it was only meant for two people at a time, with the two separate beds lining up beside eachother against the far wall. Looking at Kitty, and then back towards the beds, and then back at Kitty, he gave away a wide smile. He then ran towards one of the beds and called out: "I call this one!"

The little girl had wandered alongside her Furry, trusting in his judgement of where to go, after all she had no idea where they were let alone where anything was in relation to them. When they reached an area filled with wildlife her senses became overwhelmed and she leapt away from her beloved friend in order to chase, to pounce, to catch. She sniffed at a frog she had clasped between her hands and the ground, and when she raised a hand up it lay still. With a slight mew she moved to nudge it, when suddenly it sprang back up and alarmed the little girl who leapt backwards and began to hiss and growl. Had she been a real cat her fur would have stood up on end, but at present she was not in her Daux-form, she was a child still.

Rejoining Furry she began to nuzzle up against his leg, yawning ever so slightly. It had been quite the adventure recently, and in truth it had both excited and tired her beyond her limits. For the remainder of the journey she remained there, rubbing up against him, a low rumbling purr emitting from the very depths of her chest, with the occasional mew or growl to accompany the cacophony of natural 'music'. At peace, especially knowing that he was there at her side, she was content to plod along, smiling to herself. The stairs tired her all the more, but she managed to get to the floor without incident. When Thurion opened a door containing two beds it was all Daux could do to refrain from immediately leaping into one, a small yawn leaving her. But when Thurion ran and leapt to one she followed suit -- only she was not interested in the empty bed, as ever she wished only to curl up on her Thurion. "Fuurrry" she mewed, in a needy manner.

Laughing and smiling at Kitty pouncing him in bed, he retaliated by tickling her where he knew she was the most ticklish. When things had calmed down a bit he settled his nose against hers, rubbing the two against eachother. He breathed in her scent through his nose; she'd always smell of flowers and grass. Kitty's hair had, of course, become tangled yet again. He knew by now his every attempt at keeping it neat would be thwarted by her in the end, yet even so he let him fingers flow through her unkempt locks of hair. The tiny girl had hardly grown since last he saw her, it seemed, as her weight had not increased nor her height. He did not mind, however, as it made it easier on him with her being in his lap. Staring deep into her emerald eyes, the same eyes he'd missed for so long, he whispered: "I love you, Kitty." He truly did, in every sense of the word. She was his everything, along with Asha; the two people holding him together, keeping him from feeling alone in this big Galaxy. When Kära left the Jedi, he had felt lost once again. But then there she was, at his side, showing him he meant the world to her, and he would not let her down. Ever.

She mewed loudly and wriggled about under his tickles, yelping but in a happy manner. She rubbed up against him throughout, nuzzling her chin up into his side, struggling to breathe yet seeming happy about it. When he finally stopped she made some very human-sounding exhales of relief before nuzzling her nose back against his, following his gesture with her own. When he began to untangle her hair she swatted up against his arms in a playful manner, yet after a few moments she grew still, a low purr resonating from deep within. He had a way of making her feel contented, relaxed and somewhat sleepy. Did the two beds mean they needn't be separated? The wildling surely hoped so. Slowly she began to pad around on the bed, before nuzzling her face down under the covers to crawl under them. When she was satisfied with how deep she had trodden the little girl then turned half-circle and peeped the top of her head up to settle upon her beloved Furry's chest. "Ta oo Fuuryyy" she murmured, eyes closing in a lulled-manner.

As the hours went on, the two friends would lay in bed and remark upon how much they cared for one-another, with gentle caressing, soft nuzzling, and sweet cuddling. There were no words spoken, nor did they have to. Almost on the verge of falling asleep despite the time of day, Thurion decided it was about time they did something different. With the girl clambering onto him, he slowly and very gently dragged himself up into a sitting position, with @[member="Daux"] still attached to his chest. She had a strong grip for one so small, like a toddler holding on to its mother. Loosening her grip of him for her, he placed her in his lap, allowing her to curl up into a tiny ball. "I think it's about time we teach you how to walk, Kitty. Like people, I mean." Continuously petting her, stroking her hair, he knew she would not understand his words. He didn't mind, he never did. What the two of them had was an understanding so deep they did not need to use words.

The little cat-girl had been content to lie there for an eternity, curled up against his chest, nuzzling up against him, listening to his breathing or the beating of his heart - anything so long as it brought her closer to him, which it did. When he tried to move her all of a sudden she actually growled at him, clenching against his clothes and his upper body to try and remain in place, and when he overpowered her grip she whimpered and immediately curled up. It did not take long for her to sense that he had meant no harm of ill by her through his actions, as his words were soothing if encouraging. There was something he had planned, something he deemed fun from the tone of his voice. Were they going to play a game? Have an adventure? That had her head lifted and her gaze set to his. "Fuuurryyy" she murmured to him, purring heavily in anticipation. Just what did he have planned?

Reaching down to gently grasp the girl's two legs as she was still curled up in his lap, he slowly extended them to where she would lay stretched out along the bed with her upper body still in his embrace. Her look of utter confusion brought an innocent smile to the boy's face - mostly because of how adorable she looked with her forehead creased and pouting lips - but also, as always, as a way to grant her comfort. He then brought her attention to her outstretched legs, as he pointed to them. "You always use all four of your 'legs' to move around, Kitty, but people like Furry and Jax only have to use these two." Trying to explain to a mute girl how to walk would prove difficult, no doubt, and so he figured the only way to make her understand was to show her.

He carefully rose from the bed, settling her down onto it gently, and stood in front of her confused shape upon the floor. He leant down to gesture to his two legs. "See?" He then lifted his one foot and set it back down, then the other in the same way. Then he turned to the side to give her a side-view of what it looked like, before doing the same thing again. "Hmm..." he thought loudly before bending down to take off his boots. Maybe she would understand things better should she see how the foot looked when taking a step. Shoving his boots under the bed, he then put his one foot up on the bed next to her and wiggled his toes before setting it back down to the floor. The procedure was done once again, this time without boots: left foot, right foot - from the front and then from the side.

Rather than do anything of worth the little girl simply began attempting to pounce and attack his moving hands and feet, growling as she thought this to be some sort of game. She bit at his fingers and his palm, nipping at his skin. When he stood up she practically hissed, not wanting to have been settled down - she wanted to remain with him. In many ways she did not understand it when he put her down, it made her feel upset and uncertain - Furry was her everything, and whenever he seemed to be leaving her without reason or warning she panicked. "Fuuuurrryyy" she whimpered, leaping from the bed onto all fours, nuzzling up against his leg to try and make everything alright.

But then he did something strange, lifting his legs up and down, walking on the spot, it all seemed very silly. When he wiggled his toes she pounced upon him, biting at his toes with a low purr. But slowly she began to understand what he wanted. Jaxton had often held her hands to make her walk, and in truth Furry had too, but she did not know why, nor could she do it herself. And yet she wanted to make him proud, so she sat onto her backside and extended her hands up to him, wiggling her fingers to try and ask for him to lift her up to her feet, needing his support in order to stand.

The girl seemed to catch on what he was trying to do here, and so he grabbed her by the wrists and gently pulled her up towards him. There were some hesitation as soon as her bottom left the floor, as she was then forced to put all her weight on her ankles and feet - her two feet, that is. Once halfway up, the two of them began to lose balance, but Thurion steadied himself by taking a wide stance with his feet, as if practicing his Djem So, and in a swift motion shifted his grip of Kitty into a firm hug. His hands around her waist, connecting at her back, he pulled her all the way up to where she stood on both feet, like a toddler for the first time. "You did it, Kitty!" he proclaimed as their embrace endured longer than necessary. For a moment it felt as if they could remain standing like this for an eternity, clinging to eachother. A gentle kiss was placed on the girl's neck by the boy with golden hair, if nothing else to show his love for her.

The child shuddered as she stood for one of the very first times, her ankles aching almost immediately along with the rest of her legs, unused to the pressure she was subjecting to them. A tiny whimper left her before she was held against her Furry. This, of course, made everything feel all right, and so she nuzzled her face into his chest and felt safe. Her tiny hands curled into balls against his shirt and she found herself slowly feeling more able to remain standing. Her Furry meant the world to her, and to have his support bested anything else. "T-Taa oo" she whispered into his ear.

Keeping her in place within his embrace with a steady grip, Thurion proceeded to very cautiously step backwards, away from the bed behind her. "Careful, now..." he said as he kept a firm grip around her waist while he moved, forcing her to move along with him. While they moved, he nuzzled his chin into her shoulder, savouring her scent consisting of a natural feel... or maybe it was just dirt? It didn't matter, he loved every inch of his Kitty, even the things other could regard as 'flaws'. There were no flaws in his Kitty; her innocence, her will to please others despite her inability to do so in most cases, and utter devotion to her loved ones... all more than made up for her lack of communication or general knowledge. Like her Furry, she was not the heaviest thinker, but instead tended to follow her heart above all. It's what makes us human, Thurion would always tell himself; a perfect blend of reasonable thought and impulsive feelings of the heart. It's what he felt master was Asha always embodying in every situation, even though he had never actually been with her on missions and the likes. She was not one to act falsely around him just to make him feel better; she was genuine, just like his Kitty.

The tiny girl whimpered and began to move forward with his urging, each step laboured and painful. She was quickly growing tired and the look she gave him was practically pleading. Her legs trembled right the way down as she gripped against him roughly. "Furrryy" she whispered, feet moving awkwardly and looking out of line with one another, her balance shot. This was perhaps the most difficult thing she had experienced, not counting the loss of all her family back on Endor, yet she wanted to please her Furry...

Before Kitty could give in to her fatigue, Furry tripped over his own feet as his concentration was solely focused on her and keeping her balance, thus forgetting about his own. He fell backwards, his back hitting the floor and was close to banging the back of his head. While it didn't hurt, it did take him by surprise. What took him by even more surprise was that Kitty had fallen down with him, using him to cushion the blow. Furry looked up at her equally shocked face and there was silence for a brief moment, until he broke it by starting to giggle at the situation, his arms still embracing his Kitty where they lay. "Oh, I'm sorry, Kitty. No more practise today, I promise", he said in between giggles. His hand began caressing her soft cheek and messy hair.
