Residing in Peace, or so was thought...

Alexandra spun the holocron in her had as she sat alone on the secluded island planet that possesd rich farmland. It was a peaceful place and that was why she had picked it as a place to think on the future and what she would do. It had been a few weeks now sense the battle of Ossus and she had defected, now she didnt know what to do next with her wounds healed and freedom before her, but there was always new challenges that she could handle.

Holocrons had vast knowledge, guarded by a "gatekeeper" who could decide what it did and didn't teach. There was a force user on this planet who had one, Vendir wasn't sure who exactly had it, but he knew he had met her before. He stood atop a rock in the middle of a field, looking like a statue from a distance due to his rock armor, he was searching for the whereabouts of the force user. He stepped off the rock onto some barq, he quickly scanned the horizon before turning towards the hills in the distance to continue his search.

Alexandra's eyes opened for a moment as something was different and she didnt know what it was, but her instincts had always kept her alive and now was the time to rely on those instincts. Storing the Holocron in her robes she pulled up her hood and brought the robes tight around her before walking towards the place that she felt a strange difference in. She had never been good at interpreting this feeling but she would certainly know when it was time to react and when it was not, but until then her feet brought her gingerly across the fertile soil of the island planet. @[member="Vendir"]

It was a pain to search an entire planet for one person, especially being only one person himself. Vendir trudged over the hills of Quiilura, sensing for the force user while doing so, he found nothing, maybe he was just on the wrong side of the planet or she was just hiding herself from people like Vendir. He continued over the hills before sensing someone, probably the persone he was looking for, he wasn't sure where it was coming from but now he had the motivation to continue his search.

Alexandra paused, the force signature like a flare to her as she got closer to it, now she only need find out what it was that was giving off such a signature. One thing she had learned how to do though, was how to suppress her own signature to a certain degree. This would make it harder to sense her until he came within 50 meters of her, in hindsight to a experienced force user this attempt would be near useless at this point but seeing as the other one hadnt suppressed their own presence meant he either didnt care, or he was not searching for her at all. But better safe than sorry later on. @[member="Vendir"]

He was close, he knew it. He didn't know what would happen when he found this woman, but he knew she would not give up the Holocron. He stopped atop a hill then spoke with his loud booming voice "I know that you are here!" He pulled his shield off his back "And you have something I need." He started sliding his sword off his back "and I intend to take that from you." He ignited his lightsaber. As it may not have been the smartest thing to challenge the woman, considering he knew nothing about her. As he approached the hill he was sure Alexandra was behind he rested his lightsaber on his shoulder.

Perhaps it may not have been the smartest thing to do and challenge Alexandra, but it was not something she so simply ignored. She would not put her charge in danger though, and with that thought she found a place in a nearby tree where the Holocron could be placed without drawing attention to itself. Once in place she turned and walked out into the open, heading for the hill without dropping her hood or loosening her robes, she spoke in a light tone with a high enough volume for him to hear but only just barely. "And what is it that you seek from a recluse and someone trying to find peace in a grove such as this, have you come solely for this object." Under her hood she grinned and in her sleeves that she brought over her chest she closed her hands around her sabers, the man was already armed and she would not be caught off guard if it was some Sith looking to kill defectors. @[member="Vendir"]

Finally, he had found the woman. She wore a cloak, with the hood still covering her face "what is it I seek?" Vendir chuckled to himself "I think you already know what that is, since most force users don't have access to them, a Holocron." Vendir moved his left foot in front of his right, then took his sword off his shoulder "unless you are willing to share, but I think it's too late for that." He slammed the shield against the ground, making a 'chunk' before pulling it back out and holding it very closely to him. He statrted moving foward towards @[member="Alexandra Shadowstalker"].

She just stared at him for a full minute as he spoke, unmoving and hood still obscuring her face before sighing and speaking lower as he grew closer to her, he fingers hovering over the activation switches of her sabers. "I suggest you turn around now, or else realize a horrible mistake when you are lying on the ground broken from taking on a challenge far past your abilities to overcome at this current time. Else i will have to waste time proving such a future will occur for you and that is something i just simply do not care for doing if i do not have to." She shifted none the less, her robes parting only slightly to reveal but a one inch glimpse at her armor underneath. @[member="Vendir"]

Vendir wouldn't give up now, not when he was so close to the Holocron "that won't happen." He said while still advancing "at least the part about me giving up." Vendir only slightly cared what happened to him in the next fight "either you die as a warrior," he said quietly "or you live as a coward." He lifted his lightsaber in the air before brining it down at Alexandra.

Alexandra's hands pulled out from the sleeves and she stepped back while the silver blades erupted from the two cylinders in her hands, halting his own blade. Her hood came down revealing the young face and determined eyes that stared at her opposite with a disdain and annoyance in them, this was wasting time and she would end it fast if she so wanted. Pushing off from his blade before he could pull back or bring his shield upon her she jumped back a few meters and assumed a makashi stance, waiting for the man to come for her. @[member="Vendir"]

His attack was blocked by the woman, who then jumped backwards and got into a stance, not one he knew, not that he knew any 'stances' other than the standard one he was using now. Stepping forward he brought his sword to the right of him then he released a volley of swing at @[member="Alexandra Shadowstalker"].

Her own arms moved to meet his strikes hit for hit and careful to stay well out of range of that shield, while it would slow down him and his strikes it could be a devastating weapon if she wasnt careful and that was not something she needed to deal with right now and if she was to win this minimizing the strikes on her would be most effective as it would wear him out. With such kept in mind she kept only on the defensive and steadily backed up, he would need to pursue her after each strike, not to mention that armor alone looked like a massive weight on his shoulders, either way this was going to be a simple outcome if this man could not take her down fast. @[member="Vendir"]

'She keeps backing up,' Vendir thought to himself 'could try a just attack a few times then step back myself, But she is probably just going to stay back, and that would just waste time' he stopped attacking and held up his shield 'could try to get behind her. But that will be too hard, unless I could distract her or something.' he quickly put that thought out of his mind, he was going to have to either hit hard and try to break her defenses or attempt to break her defenses then attack. Taking fast steps foward he swung his shield close in front of her, followed by his lightsaber from the right.

She grinned, he did as she thought he would and struck with his shield, using her own already moving body she backpedaled and evaded the strike, and would have also out distanced his blade... would being the key word. You know, there is a certain thing one must remember when walking backwards, you cant exactly see where you are going, and because of this lack of foresight, and sudden use of hindsight it seems that such a simple way out is not possible. Alexandra walked right into a tree and had no time to move as the blade came down, her only way out was simply to raise her blades, cross them, and hope for the strength to stop his blade. The good part though about the tree, his blade would likely carve into it slowing down it and reducing the power, albeit not by much but anything is better than nothing.

His shield had missed, like he planned, but his sword didn't hit Alexandra, instead it had hit a tree 'Darn, tree.' A thick tree, pushing as hard as he could he cut right through the tree, he had almost forgot about the falling tree when he went to slash at the woman. Stopping mid slash he rolled backwards, out of the way of the tree 'getting tired,' he said 'gotta wait for a moment.' He slammed his shield into the ground, digging it in to the ground to he didn't have to hold it up, but practically taking away his shield for now.

'Now' Her mind roared from within its depths and she charged out, darting to the right of his planted his shield and made a quick fluid strokes in her strikes that came from his right hand aimed at his left shoulder down to his right hip. Her left hand and blade darted out in a jab instead to block off him from dodging to his right to escape the blow, she would trap him and leave him with no where to got but back, especially if he left his shield. The joy of little armor than that of the chest peace of weaved metals would be all that was slowing her down, and even then she hadn't used as much energy as the man. He would backpedal and he himself be on the defensive now should her plan continue to work. @[member="Vendir"]

Blow after blow, Vendir kept getting hit by Alexandra's Attacks, making him move backwards since she kept blocking him from moving to the sides 'Darn,' he though, still taking blows 'I have to do something.' He was sure there was nothing directly behind him, other than a few small scattered trees on the hills, but he wasn't going to back up. He started backing up faster, before stopping and moving forward towards Alexandra, attempting to run into her and at least stop her attacks before he attempted to get his shield.

'Ha hes Runn-' Her strike stopped midswing as he ran right into her, causing her to spin off balance as she uselessly tried to move out of the way. It took her a few moments to get balanced again and by that time he would have his shield. Cursing herself she lost her greatest shot at winning this fast and now would have to go back on the defensive. Replanting her feet she waited for him to resume his own attacks on her. @[member="Vendir"]

Vendir shoved Alexandra out of the way before running and grabbing his shield and lifting it up in front of him 'darn, that was close, can't afford to let that happen to me again.' He though "nice move," he was getting tiered, not that he wanted her to know that "you damaged my armor." He didn't want to sound pretentious but it had came out that way and he couldn't change that. He started moving forward while holding his shield in front of him before breaking into a run towards Alexandra with his lightsaber behind him, attempting to ram into and land a few hits on her.
