Requiescence

It had been some time since Allyson had been on Kiribi, when she had talked about the planet with Arisa – it had already been almost a full galactic year. To come back to the planet was like coming to it for the first time. At least this time it wasn’t so much for work, but relaxation as well.

Morning had come quickly and the Corellian being stubborn refused to wake up as the sun crept into view in the blue sky of the planet. Her head under a pillow didn’t protect her much, she needed fresh air after some time of hiding. Covering her head with the blankets also proved to a failure as well. Oxygen was such a stubborn thing that she needed, so after about an hour of struggle, the brunette sat up slightly using her elbow and looked at the white-haired woman beside her.

Not saying anything she leaned over and brushed aside some of the long white hair that covered the woman’s face. She knew how the other woman slept and figured she was probably awake for the most part. In a sense, but still Allyson was careful not to startle. Leaning forward, she buried her face into the mess of silvery hair and brushed her lips against tender skin along her neck. A smile spread across her face as she waited for [member="Jyoti Nooran"] to open her eyes. “Morning, breakfast? No oatmeal – you’re on a kind of vacation too.”

At a passing glance, the doppelgänger easily passed for the real deal, replicating the detail's of Jyoti's form to near perfection, even down to the way she shifted around in bed. However, there was one glaring issue, and it would soon be discovered by the Corellian as she smoothed away the hair over the android's face.

"Master...I require no sustenance at this time. However, a new fusion cell would be welcome...my primary cell is only reporting a 98.7% capacity."

The android spoke with Jyoti's voice, but in terms of cadence and syntax, it didn't sound like her in the slightest.

The voice, it was the same, but as she brushed away the silvery hair she came to discover a face that she knew, and it wasn’t Jyoti’s. The derpy little grin belonged to Taffy. Allyson nearly fell off the bed as she covered herself with the sheets.

“Taffy! Wh-What are you doing?!” She held the sheets tightly around her frame as she stared at the backside of the double. There was heavy bit of confusion right now that filled the Corellian’s mind. “Your fusion cell is fine, I feel like you tell me to replace that thing every week.”

Allyson pinched the bridge of her nose and poked the back of the Jyoti-Taffy. “Where’s Jyoti?”

Taffy

Guest
Taffy shot upright as the Goddess nearly fell over the bed, covers falling off his bare form as he reached out reflexively for the Corellian. Fortunately, she maintained her balance - the Goddess was safe. However, the derpy smirk that made up doppelgänger's default expression was replaced by a quizzical look of confusion. Was she not pleased with his comfort protocols?

She inquired the whereabouts of her companion while poking him. She would feel a near perfect replication of supple flesh underline by steely sinews, just like Jyoti's athletic physique.

"General Nooran left exactly 73 minutes ago, informing me she was running morning errands."

His beady black eyes flashed with blue light, creating a miniature holo plane for his master's viewing pleasure. It showed the real Jyoti, dressed down in trendy casual wear addressing the droid.

"I'm stepping out for a bit to hit up the farmer market and pick up my mail from the post office. Would you be a dear and keep an eye on a certain sleepy head?"

"Yes, General Nooran, it is my primary directive!"

The Echani let out an amused huff and poked the droid in the belly.

"Who knew we'd pick up such a cute thing from the center of a city busting walker. Alright, I'm leaving. Take care."

As she turned away for the door, the feed turned black and the projection ended.

"I was only carrying out the request of General Nooran. Does this not please you?"

Allyson continued to poke Taffy’s current form as she was in awe at the similarities to Jyoti. No wonder she was confused when she woke up to find the android in bed with her when she assumed it was her lover. Sitting there trying not to stare too intently at Taffy’s Jyoti replica form, Allyson listened to what had occurred while she was sleeping.

He revealed the visual events and Allyson smiled, the Echani was right about Taffy and when it finished the Corellian looked up. Reaching over she cupped the derpy little face and nodded. “I’m happy and pleased with your comfort.” She moved her hand to pat him on the shoulder and tossed a pillow in his direction. “But you should cover up, its slightly confusing me.”

The near perfect replication was just that too perfect for the moment. Brushing her chestnut hair back behind her ears she looked and smiled at Taffy who was still beside her. “Did Jyoti say when she was getting back?”
