The Warfighter
Location: Galactic City, Coruscant
Drez and his fellow Fett clones had just arrived on Coruscant not long ago. They left the Corellian G-9 Rigger class light-freighter in one of the parking hangars and boarded the Magnaline 3000 Airbus. Coruscant hadn't changed much really. It was the same busy city that they knew back during the Clone Wars, except that there wasn't an army stationed here, or at least the troopers thought so.
The troopers had always admired Coruscant's nighttime panoramic view as well, though they weren't here to admire the skyline. They were on Coruscant because the sensors on their shuttle had detected a beacon. It wasn't any ordinary beacon though, it was a beacon giving off a Clone Wars era signal.
The troopers were well aware of the risk of the civilians dissatisfaction towards the clones and the era that had followed the Clone Wars. As a result, they had their helmets tied to their body armor and had the body armor concealed by robes similar to Jedi robes. It never did hurt to catch up on the galaxy's history anyways.
"Alright, looks like we've arrived, Drez." Lex said as he tracked the beacon's signal to a very close proximity as the airbus came to a stop at one of the bus stops.
"Remember, we need to keep a low profile." Drez warned. He didn't want to start a gunfight in the middle of the Constant streets at night anyways.
The eight troopers exited the airbus and followed Lex while scattered as he slowly walked across the platform onto the sidewalk. They walked for just a couple of minutes before Lex came to a sudden stop. "The signal is coming from in there." Lex said as he pointed at a cantina to his right, unaware of the name.
"79's? This place is still here?" Kano exclaimed in disbelief. The other clone troopers looked up and were amazed that the cantina was still there. 79's was one of the cantinas that clone troopers would go there to blow some steam off. It was actually one of the few that would tolerate clones as well, mainly because the clones had driven away most of the other customers anyways.
"Alright, let's go in. I mean, what are we waiting for. We're just here to check out this beacon. That's it." Drez shrugged as he proceeded to walk towards the cantina's front entrance. The clones nodded and shrugged in agreement and followed closely behind Drez.
