"Anything to drink?" the waitress spoke with a cheerful but practiced tone as she looked to Ciel with a pleasant smile. The young scoundrel stood by the disk and looked up at what was on offer, written down on the chalkboard ahead. Shaking her head, the girl turned to look at the freezer instead - it was much easier than trying to read what was on offer, especially with the fancy handwriting that was on display. "Two of those, please" she said before proceeding to the next step, throwing an eye at Jacques who has waiting by their table. A smile grew on her lips as she saw him. They hadn't spoke much since the event down in the cargohold. They had kept busy, sleeping, piloting the ship and running around shopping. Perhaps there was a sense of nervousness about the whole thing to, at least from Ciel's part. Regardless, they would now have a meal together before moving on and surely, it would be an opportunity for them to speak. It wasn't clear of what, but to her, it felt like something which needed to happen.

Most of the day so far had just been dedicated to buying her some basic supplies like clothes, but also to buy food and a few decorations. It had been pleasant and seeing as she didn't really have any credits that weren't left behind with her gang on Nar Shaddaa, he had been the one to pay for it all. Ciel wasn't sure of how she'd pay him back considering her lack of a salary. Still, as long as she worked for him, it would only make sense for him to pay for stuff - at least when it would help her protect him better. But in the end, she was very grateful for his generosity.

Lost in her thoughts, Ciel only heard when the waitress called upon her for a second time, pleasantly asking for the price. "Right" she said, looking down at the woman before grabbing the credits that Jacques had given to her a few moments ago. "We have a special dessert offer today, would you like a menu?" the waitress spoke and proceeded by handing the scoundrel a small menu and then to give her some more information. Although she listened patiently to the other speak, Ciel just wanted to take the mean and get back to Jacques. Still, she remained. Slowly, she started to pick up the trays, hoping that the talkative waitress would get the hint.

It was all wrong. The numbers were coming in all a mess, accounts weren't showing the right balance, and now he was going to have track down what he had done wrong. It was hard being a slicer, especially when you got on the bad side of slicers who were just as good as you. It took only a moment to find where three thousand of his credits had gone, and with a few choice inputs, he was having it recalled. If only Ciel knew how much of a mess he had on hand, she might have given his offer a second thought. He looked over to where the woman was, smirking at the new attire she had gone with. It was very fitting for her, complimented her form rather well, not to mention they had some unfinished buisness to discuss.

Anyways, the Taris government was paying him to do security for their private communicate channels, so that's why they were here. Jacques shifted his attention to the network arrays he was monitoring on his datapad, taking note of the influx of traffic it was garnering. Strange, it only started just a moment ago according to this. He looked around the cafeteria, and found a pair of men moving directly towards him. One of the men kept looking to a device in his hands, a scanner of some sort, the other seemed to have taken notice of him. Either way it wasn't good. He looked over to Ciel, hoping she would get back soon, as he felt that he might possibly be in danger.

As the waitress kept blabbering, threw an eye at Jacques. It was then, when their eyes met, that she saw his concerned look. Putting the trays down, she turned around to have a look over the room. Two men seemed to be walking towards her protectee. The human holding the device spoke in a confirmatory voice "It's him" which prompted the zabrak at his side to take greater strides, quickly approaching the smaller man at the table. Although she didn't hear him very clearly, Ciel got enough from lip reading and body language alone - she had done similar things in the past with her gang and had a strong hunch that the two others weren't friendly. With quick steps, she started walking towards him - they would arrive first, but for now, there didn't seem to be any need to escalate the situation.

The zabrak made a grave mistake, however. First, snatching the datapad with his left hand, and then grabbing it's owner by the collar with the right. "Hello" The human spoke with a calm and civilised voice whilst his friend held him. Ciel started seeing red - they had gone to far when they took his datapad and now they had even laid a hand on him. It became harder for her to think straight as he instinct to protect grew stronger and more prominent in her mind. Her steps were hurried - she moved faster until she was in a sprint. Half a second after she had pushed away an old lady who happened to be in the way, Ciel let her shoulder impact with that of the human, causing a small crack sound as he screamed out in pain whilst being flung from the heavy tackle.

The human staggered back a couple of meters and only stopped because he bumped into the Zabrak who let go of both Jacques and the datapad as he fell and landed on his behind. Not planning on giving them any respite, she walked forward towards the still confused human. After throwing a powerful fist into his abdomen, forcing him to fold over, she put both hands at his side and pushed him hard, causing him to fall onto an empty table, causing the plastic furniture to break. Continuing on her rampage, Ciel kicked the zabrak's chest, sending him down to the ground before kneeling down on his waist with one leg on each side of him. Without a word, she started punching him in the face whilst the others looked on. Including his human ally who was still trying to recover.

Jacques hadn't expected a response team to find him so soon, but here they were, and boy did they look annoyed. Someone had sent some chasers to stop his assistance with the government, which he hadn't encountered before, clearly he was interfering with some sort of power struggle that he wanted no business in. Jacques put his hands up, hoping to avoid breaking anything until Ciel could come over and save him. Sadly it didn't work, as the datapad was torn from his hands and Jacques was hoisted up by his collar. "Hey, hey easy!" He started, feeling the bones in his shoulder and neck strain, and he hoped he wouldn't risk breaking something once again.

Thankfully he didn't have to wait for long, as Ciel came blazing in to his rescue, slamming into one of his attackers, and threw the other through a table. Jacques was dropped, though he stumbled backwards, nearly falling onto the ground as he watched Ciel go to work. She was brutal and efficient, but he noticed that she seemed to not be wanting to stop. Both men were neutralized, and yet, she was pummeling the Zabrak's face into pudding. Several people looked on, some attempting to call the authorities in, but that didn't stop the human attacker from attempting to pounce on Ciel's back. "Ciel!" Jacques tried to call out, taking hold of his datapad and throwing it at the man's head, as the device cracked against his temple. His attack did little but irritate the man, who decided against attacking Ciel, and instead moving to attack the much easier to handle Jacques. The human grabbed a chair and threw it at the slicer, who was forced to drop to the ground, resulting in a 'pop' sound coming from his kneecap. Oh yea, that was broken. Swearing to himself, Jacques could only watch as the man moved to assault him, raising his foot up and aiming to bring it down on the slicers skull. This was not at all how he thought his day would pan out.

A continuous stream of punches were being thrown at the poor Zabrak stuck underneath her. While he did make some futile attempts to resist at first, he was hardly able to act at all by now. His call for her fell on deaf ears as she continued to pummel the alien, causing quite a bit of destruction to his face. It was only when she raised a fist that she, by the corner of her eye, saw Jacques on the ground, desperately trying to defend himself from the human. She was already being so driven that she couldn't really control herself and this only made matters worse.

Practically hopping up to her feet, Ciel ran towards the attacker from behind. Once there, she pulled him back by the collar. The sudden force of which she pulled causing him to flail backwards whilst producing a choking sound. Putting a leg in front of him, she suddenly pushed instead of pulling. Tripping him, the young scoundrel felt how he would be falling to the floor and was quite eager to make the fall more expedient. With full force, she pushed along, throwing him face first down onto the ground, causing a fair amount of damage to him. Not content, Ciel followed him down to the floor - the man had been a threat to Jacques, worse even as he had actually harmed him. Some part of her decided that she was going to neutralise the threat forever and consequently flipped him so that he laid on his back Grabbing both his wrists and putting them together above his head, she pushed down on them with her left hand. As flailing would now be impossible, she then brought her right hand to his throat and began to apply pressure, threatening to choke him to death.

Once again, Ciel was there to save him. As the human seemed ready to finish the slicer off, Ciel had finished off the Zabrak and taken the Human in a neckhold, as she was busy pummeling him within an inch of his life. Jacques winced in pain as he grabbed at his broken knee cap, as he could hear Ciel going to town on his attackers face. Pushing himself back up, he turned back to the site of chaos, seeing his bodyguard was now strangling a man, her face a display of boiling rage and disgust. It didn't take much to see that the onlookers were horrified at the scene, as Ciel had left the Zabrak as a bloody mess and was about to strangle the second man to death. It was rather apparent that something needed to be done, but given his condition, there wasn't much Jacques could do. "Ciel, Ciel stop!" He commanded, Trying to pull himself up as he grabbed onto a table and pushed himself up on his one good leg, but the pain was too much, as Jacques was forced to lean onto the table in an attempt to keep himself upright. This wasn't going to work. The threats were neutralized, but if Ciel kept going, she was at risk of committing a murder.

Cursing under his breath, Jacques turned back, raising his voice in a desperate attempt to get her to snap out of it. "Ciel, stop! They're not a threat anymore!" The security team was going to be arriving here shortly, and if she didn't stop, there was a risk she might be taken away by them; in which case it would be a royal pain to spring her out, not to mention their reputation would be dashed. He could only think of one last thing that might get her attention, and he went with it. "Ciel! I'm hurt, I need your help! Just let him go!" Wincing once more, Jacques clutched at his broken knee cap, knowing that without his bodyguard, it was going to be a pain to get this mended on his own.

C Ciel Rivage

His calls for her to stop risked drowning in all the worried chatter coming from the other patrons, some who seemed ready to defend themselves, some who were leaving and others who were calling for help. All of it was effectively filtered out, becoming a rather distant noise as the enraged bodyguard held the man down with a hand around his neck. Deep down, she had a hunch that law enforcement were coming and knew that the smarted thing to do would be to stop - yet she continued, unable to control herself and her deep-rooted instinct of how to best protect someone and right any injustices which had been done.

Not even Jacques' reasoning helped her snap out of it as she kept applying pressure. While her victim had initially tried to kick about and get his arms loose from her grip, he had now stopped, conserving the energy whilst looking at her desperately, trying to say the word 'please'. Needless to say, it did not work - he had attacked them and served as a threat to the and for that, he was going to pay.

Suddenly, her grip of his throat loosened, allowing for a small amount of oxygen to flow through. The girl almost froze as she heard his pained words. It was clearly audible that he was hurt. Upon looking, she saw him holding his knee and immediately started understanding that he had indeed been injured. She threw another glance at the thug beneath her - her actions would surely give her a bad conscience - while she wouldn't feel bad over beating them up, her response had been quite unproportional, at least judging by the level of violence which the two goons had displayed. Ciel threw a last glance at the human desperately gasping for air with a hint of regret in her eyes before standing up.

With hurried steps, she soon arrived by Jacques' side "Let me bring out the kolto" she said, clearly a bit stressed and upset. With that, she started to dig around in their bag, still not familiar with his maximum drug dosage. In the distance, sirens could be heard coming closer. While he did speak of corruption in the Tarisian government, the law enforcement still seemed to arrive faster than they did on Nar Shaddaa where they often times wouldn't show up at all. While still digging around, Ciel looked at him, trying to figure our if he wanted them to stay or if they should start making a run for it. The girl didn't know how he operated, but unless they had more firepower than the law enforcement by a fair margin, her gang always used to try to get away when possible.

She was stopping, good, that was a good sign. The pain was a bit much, so Jacques fell onto a chair instead, wincing at the pain, but knowing there wasn't a whole lot he could do. But at least Ciel had stopped. As she moved towards him, fumbling through the medical kit they had brought along, he kept his eyes on the law enforcement that had arrived on scene. He put a hand on her shoulder, remembering what he had neglected to tell her earlier. "Hey, hold off on the kolto, I just need something for the pain and a stent for my leg." He reached into his pocket, going for his official government credentials as the officers were moving in towards them. "Don't worry about the officers, I got this covered." He produced the credentials as they reached the pair, one of the officers moved to grab Ciel, but Jacques spoke up. "Officer, she's with me. We're here for official government business." Holding the digital paperwork towards the man, it seemed to be enough, as the lawman stopped and gave the two a dirty look, before moving to secure the two thugs on the ground. Jacques lightly massaged Ciel's arm, hoping to calm her down, as she looked greatly distressed.

"Hey, it's okay. We're not in danger." He tried to sound comforting, but it probably wasn't going to work. "My Kolto infusion doesn't work after the third application. I can only use it three times a weak, anymore and I risk getting a lingering side effect, Osteopetrosis. Basically, my bones can become so stiff and unmoving that I'll end up like those freak art displays you see in the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa, not pretty." He looked over at the two men, one of which was being pulled away in stun cuffs, though it seemed a second officer had arrived to handle the man Ciel had beaten rather severely. Thankfully, they were politically protected, but on another world this might not have gone over so well. "Remind me not to get you mad. I don't think your secret weakness would help me." He chuckled, the pain starting to fade as he was just relieved that they were both going to be okay.

A look of confusion struck her as he declined his usual treatment. She stopped her search and simply looked at him with questioning eyes. It seemed weird that he wouldn't want the stuff that actually worked, but before she thought to ask, he had already moved on. Left to her own devices, Ciel looked around, searching for something to use as a stent. When she finally found a large aluminum tray on a trolley, she reached over, grabbed it and quietly started bending it. Most people would have been able to bend the thin plate and to her, it was no challenge it all. Whilst she was working, he did mention not having to worry about the officers, and to her, that was insurance enough. Kneeled down on the floor, she looked up at him whilst bending the tray "Okay" she said, with a somewhat naive tone, still weighed down by her recent actions. Soon, she started wrapping it around his leg, leaving only a small spring through which she could insert the painkiller from the med kit.

Sure enough, the officers did leave them alone, Jacques really had it covered like he said. It made her feel happy - while her gang had looked out for her in the past, Jacques was again proving to her that he was looking out for her now. When he started speaking of the true nature of his condition and the treatment, the young scoundrel rose to sit next to him on the bench. Gently, she pulled him in closer to her whilst leaning her head against the top of his. "I'll protect you" she said as he was enveloped in her embrace. Memories of all the times she had failed flashed back through her mind "I will get better at it soon" she added. While she hadn't understood everything he said, she got the gist of it and realised how important it was not to let anything bad touch him.

She looked down at him and soon followed his gaze, seeing the officers take away the goons, her victims. A sweet smile formed on her lips, it soon turned into something more amused. "Oh, if you only knew" she said, knowing that anyone who wouldn't immediately die from her wild swings like he would could probably keep her subdued if they could keep tickling her. Shrugging lightly, making sure not to risk breaking anything, she continued "But as long as we're on the same side, you'll be safe!" with enthusiasm. Not long after, people started moving about freely, although all of them kept away from Jacques and Ciel - now, they understood the risks of getting too close.

He winced as she had to force his leg into an odd position and fixed it accordingly. He really lucked out with her as his bodyguard, in more ways than one. Accepting the rather rough first aid she was giving at current. It seemed the rest of the people in the cantina were busy trying to pick up, or watching the ensuing arrests take place. She slide the pain killer in, and let out a small sigh, knowing that he was at least on the route to recovering. "Thanks." He mumbled awkwardly, accepting the hug she offered and just sighing into her shoulder, as he hugged her tightly. He'd be rather screwed if not for her. "You're doing well enough." He assured her, knowing she was probably upset for letting him get hurt.

It seemed they were alone now, the thugs having been taken away, leaving the pair awkwardly embracing on the floor, as the rest of the patrons seemed unsure whether they should stick around or leave the establishment as the workers attempted to clean up. He grinned at her comment, but knew she was right; thankfully that'd just be a secret between the two of them. "Far as I know, that's not changing any time soon. So you're safe." He chuckled, struggling to get up off the floor, as he would probably need her help to get back up. "Hey, you didn't get your food." He reminded her, leaning on one of the tables as he tried to get used to his injured leg. "Did you still want to eat?" He asked, glancing up at her, as he wasn't sure what all she had in mind right now. He snatched up his datapad and scowled; he'd cracked the damn glass it seemed. "I can still finish up my work before we get a move on." He asserted, but she was probably going to try and haul him back to the ship for his safety.

An appreciative but meek smile was sent his way as he told her that she was doing enough already. She disagreed, of course, but the fact that he was so willing to give her credit despite the poor results and recognise the effort was heartwarming. After letting her gaze linger on his eyes for a few moments, she continued getting him fixed up.

Looking at him satisfied, Ciel leaned her head to the side "That's good" she said, although already feeling pretty safe with Jacques. Besides, as things were currently, he wouldn't even be able to turn against her to exploit her weakness as it was only assured destruction for him. She almost missed that he was trying to get up and quickly repositioned to kneel instead of simply sitting "No, no, let me" she said as her bulk shifted to face him. Looking at him, she thought of the best way to bring him up for a while before asking "Would you mind if I just moved you to the chair?" She finally asked and upon hearing him ask about eating, the young scoundrel acted, apparently interpreting it as a positive response to her question. With that, she scooped him up with one arm by his legs and the other around his back and moved to their table where she set him down. "I'll be right back with the food"

It was not long before the bodyguard returned, both of their trays still relatively intact. The waitress was like a completely different person - instead of social and outgoing she seemed to fear for her life when Ciel first approached. It did make her feel very bad to have such an impact on the other girl, but she kept telling herself that it probably was what had been needed. But even then, she was not very convinced herself. Brushing away the thought, Ciel set down the trays on the table and sat down "Oh, it's damaged" she said, just now noticing the cracked monitor. "Did anything else break?" she continued, only later realising her blunder. Her gaze quickly fell with her eyes passing by his broken knee.

Two new patrons arrived not too long after. One obviously in charge whilst the other, his goon, simply seemed to be there for protection. The scoundrel threw an eyes at them before turning back to Jacques, deciding that they hadn't presented themselves as a threat yet. "Let's hope it haven't grown too cold" she said before taking a large bite from her food. Much to her relief, it was still good, whilst caused her to send him a thumbs-up as she ate.

She was just a big softie. Not that many people knew that, but Jacques had seen enough to know that was the case. As he was trying to get himself back to his feet, he should have known she would rush to intervene. Truth be told, it was rather humiliating to be carried to a seat, but it saved him a great deal of pain. Probably for the best. "Thanks." He muttered, his cheeks reddening as he was quite literally swept off his feet. "Thank you, I'll be alright Ciel. Just go get your meal." He insisted, before giving his datapad a once over just to make sure everything was going alright. Just as he figured, someone had attempted to try and access the communications network recently, but Jacques was able to negate their attempt rather swiftly. It seemed like it was Amateur hour today.

As Ceil rejoined him, he only flashed her a smile at the question. "Nope, nothing else is broken. Not even the Comms station." It was a partial lie, but he didn't want her to feel bad; after all, he knew what he meant. "Now get to eating, you need to keep up your strength." Like he was one to talk, he'd never get on her level no matter how hard he'd try. Thankfully it seemed that her food wouldn't be too bad, given the signal she was flashing him. He set the datapad on the table as he watched her eat, a soft smile still on his features. He was rather amused at the idea of despite all her power there was a simple way to shut her off. It was an adorable weakness that she harbored, one that he was tempted to take advantage of; though the literal cost to his life kept him from doing so. Sudden, he got an idea. It was a tad sadistic truth be told, but it was an idea none the less. He looked away from Ciel, looking up to the ceiling as his mind was getting the best of him. No, absolutely not. She'd think he was crazy for mentioning it. He softly shook his head, rejecting his stupid idea.

While she wasn't the greatest at social games - but even she could see that Jacques wasn't all too happy about being brought to the chair the way she did it. Although she did feel bad, it was only a few more steps until she was there and considering how she hoped to avoid letting get hurt, she completed the short trip and set him down. Looking at him, she could see that he wasn't all too happy, but still, he didn't seem to be angry with her. "You're welcome" she said whilst her apologetic eyes conveyed an "I'm sorry"

***

With her gaze still locked onto the floor, Ciel listened as he noted how nothing else was damaged. A sense of relief fell over her as he hadn't taken it as an insult, seeing how he had obviously just had bones broken. Probably sounding a bit more excited than what was expected in the situation, she let out an "Okay, good!" - more thanks to him not being saddened by the comment than the fact that none of his other stuff had broken.

Looking at him, somewhat surprised, she spoke "What about you?" she asked, pointing at his plate with her fork. Looking at his food and her fork pointed at it, the young scoundrel lowered the eating utensil and stuck one of his vegetables to it before raising it and bringing it to her mouth. A satisfied grin spread across her face as she ate it "I guess I better get started" she spoke whilst repeating the action, this time taking a piece of meat. "Yes, it does still taste good" she confirmed after swallowing his food. Not long after, she noticed his contemplative look. Taking another vegetable, she asked "What's on your mind?"

Okay, she got him there. Damn it. "I'll just eat later. It's not a big deal. Not hungry anyways." Which wasn't a lie, he nearly died and still had a job to do; he could always eat later. At least she wasn't upset anymore, it was so difficult to see her upset. Hopefully she wouldn't be paying attention to where his mind might be going, but he spoke too soon. As she asked what he was thinking, he pursed his lips and shrugged his shoulders. "Oh, you know, just thinking." He started off strong, which was surely a sign that things would not be going well at all. "Just, thinking that maybe, if you were okay with it, we could put a device on you to get you under control, erm." He stopped as he realized how stupid and terrible that statement sounded. He looked at her, trying to judge what she was thinking; she'd probably think he was a weirdo.

"Not like there's an issue or anything, but I noticed that you seemed rather intent of pummeling that guy into next week. So, I don't know. Just something to help you keep yourself from killing someone by accident?
" It was probably a terrible idea, she'd probably just up and leave and think he was some controlling freak. "I know, it's a stupid idea." He sighed, taking the datapad up as he monitored the situation, and found nothing had changed. Well, least there was some good news.

She had triumphantly continued eating from both their plates - knowing that she would spend the additional energy later regardless. Although good progress was being made as the plates started emptying at a rapid pace, his next comment caught her by surprise, causing her eating to come to a halt. What he had just said was hard to comprehend - at first, she didn't even seem to react. Sitting there without moving a muscle, Ciel processed what he had just said - what he had just suggested. Did he really want to strap some device to her to 'get her under control'? It was a most outrageous idea and the sadness she felt at it even being proposed was tremendous. At the same time, Jacques spoke with his annoyingly kind and warm voice and hearing the following explanation, he even seemed to be making sense.

It was infuriating how hard it was to really get mad at him but as the seconds went by, it became easier and easier. An inner anger and fury manifested in her eyes as a low, almost growling, sound could be heard. It was obvious to anyone looking that the scoundrel was far from pleased. Without a word, she rose from her seat and looked down at him for both one and two moments, breathing heavily. She couldn't think of any arguments, in fact, at this moment, the girl couldn't think much at all as all her thoughts were quickly corrupted by powerful emotions. Filled with anger, fury, but also sadness, she walked out of the restaurant crossed the street. Although she didn't want to be in the same room as him, talk to him or look at him - Ciel was still close enough to notice if anything happened so that she could intervene if there was any danger.

He wasn't sure if she heard him at first, as she sat there, not reacting to what he had said at first. That lead him to think that just maybe she wouldn't be mad, but he was soon proved wrong. She got up and stared at him, and he could tell she was upset. He felt rather terrible about having said what he had uttered a few moments ago, but that wouldn't do him any good now. "Ciel, wait just here me out." He tried telling her, but it was no good, she up and left, leaving him feeling awfully bad. He sighed, feeling like he had just lost his one and only friend; and any chance that they could be together. He tried to follow where she moved to, turning his head to follow her as she left, but lost sight of her as she left the restaurant. Damn it. "Ugh!" He grunted, dropping the holopad on the table as he held his head in his hands. He was screwed without her, and there was no getting around it.

Sadly, he was far too distracted to notice the small dot that appeared on his vest, or the man who sat in a sniper position a street across from him. Without his bodyguard in position, the chances of this encounter going south seemed rather high, unti Jacques stood up and attempted to find Ciel, though with his crippled leg it would be rather hard to accomplish. In standing, the sniper seemed to have missed his mark, as Jacques moved out of his line of sight, and now he would have to wait even longer to get the kill off. Jacques on the other hand was only focused on finding Ciel, knowing he was going to have to apologize in the hopes she would still want to follow him around.

C Ciel Rivage

Pacing about with varying speeds, Ciel could barely think straight. She was still fuming and her hands were repeatedly forming fists before relaxing again. She did keep an eye on Jacques and his surroundings, but the red dot on his shirt was way too small for her to see from across the street. Suddenly, however, she saw a red reflection on the glass which immediately caused her to jump to alert. Her senses honed and body still fit for fight, the girl squinted to look at him from the street and finally saw the dot on him too. There wasn't a chance in the world that she was going to fail yet another time. Seeing the relation of the dot reflected on the window and the dot projected on him, Ciel quickly understood where the sniper was hiding. Apparently, they sat two floors up in the residential building she stood next to. As Jacques got up, the girl realised that she only had a small window of opportunity to prevent disaster from happening. Not wanting to be put on the defence again, she decided to try to take out the sniper.

With that, she turned and jogged towards the entrance. As fortunately for her, someone was leaving the building as soon as she got there, giving her the perfect opportunity to slip in through the otherwise locked gate. Things wouldn't go as smoothly as she had hoped, however, as the gentleman leaving the building was quick to raise a finger at her and position himself in the middle of the doorway "Wait, wait, wait. I don't recognise you" he said, obviously intent on blocking her path. She really didn't have time for him and Jacques' life was in danger - she was now starting to loose control, the second time in just the last hour. Suddenly, her arm burst forward in a sweeping motion, easily pushing him along. The man's feet left the ground for a bit as her arm quickly brought him to smash against the wall, only to continue to push for a bit once he had hit it. He was sure to have broken a few ribs and quickly fell unconscious as his head smashed against the wall too. The building's tender took a few steps towards her from his desk by the elevators. It was obvious that he was afraid and quite hesitant in his actions. Still, there he was. Ciel had started running towards the stairs and he was in her way. Although it would have been easy to just run around him, the young scoundrel decided to not waste any time and simply ran directly at him instead. Upon impact, he was flung out of the way whilst she continued the run.

Ciel had left a path of destruction behind her, using blunt force to get past whatever objects got in her way - regardless of whether they were animate or not. Soon, she had reached the door to the apartment where the suspected sniper was hiding. All that needed to be done now was to get in and take them out.
