Remember This

Ra decided to mix a bit of business with pleasure. As a businesswoman, she quite often had to travel the galaxy in search prospects. So contact had been made with somebody on Val'hala.

She looked up her destination and learned it was going to be similar to what Dorsis and Coruscant were. Both places she was quite familiar with and she smiled to herself slightly. It would be nice to return to a place like that and she sometimes missed the time when she lived on Coruscant.

The name she had been given as a contact was Zaiden Dean. He had invited her to join him at his estate and she accepted that. Many people, including her quite often worked from home and since this was their first meeting, no wares were going to be shown in person.

Information would be shared about what they could offer to each other and then the real business would begin. She brought her personal craft to his world and a speeder was waiting for her when she exited the spaceport. It would take her through the city to his home. Sitting back in the comfortable seat, she wondered how this would go.

Zaiden looked up from typing, a man had just entered telling him that his expected arrival would be soon enough, he nodded to the man, "Well then, I want you to bring her a welcome party, pick a few men, and help her to the door. Once there, you neednt follow. Just send her on up." From his office in Ahvulan, the massive corporation it was, he likely could see her ship landing. But he had his head in the books, so to speak. Doing search after search, all thanks to an itch he had recieved in his sleep. The Force was warning him in a somewhat prophetic way. Something big was going to happen on Val'hala, soon as well. He had no idea what, when it would occur, or any other hints. But the warning was big, and it was real.\

He did not really know to much about the woman arriving soon, but he did know that she had a bounty out on her. Hence his sending guard detail. There was no way he would allow the woman whom was coming to see him personally to be allowed to be taken hostage. What kind of king was he? Not to mention the larger portion of his planet was Force sensitive, and most of his guards were, so she would also have several Knights to accompany her. It was bascially a no brainer that she would arrive unharmed and they could do business or whatever it was she wished to do while in his domain and under his protection.

Her journey to his office was uneventful, but that didn't really surprise Ra. She might have a bounty on her head, but this wasn't the first time it happened. Instead it was the third. Granted the first one had been done to keep her activities with the Sith Empire a secret from other governments she was working for at the time. She had ended up casting off the shackles of them and moved on with her life.

She had started building up a movement with the grand plan to take the Sith Empire and Kaine out. So far that been proving to be pretty much a pipe dream and they had once again come swooping in to destroy her life.

Such were some of the musings going through her mind as she rode in his speeder.

Eventually she arrived and climbed out. The men that had come to pick her up escorted her inside and dropped her off. She listened to the instructions given to her and she went up.

Walking down the hall, she knew she was expected and she walked in. Giving him a professional smile, she stopped to introduce herself and thank him for inviting her here.

Waving a hand absentmindedly, he smiled a welcoming twitch of the lips, "Im Zaiden, thank you for coming. I was told you wished for an audience. I am not one for formalities so simply it was best to have you come in." He rose when she stepped fully in, offering curtesy, then gestured to a chair opposite his at the desk.

"Please, have a seat. Can I offer any refreshments?" He asked with an arched brow, "I can get you whatever your desire." Sitting back down, he turned to his com and began rapid fire typing, closing out of the business he had previously been involved in. Then he sat back, looking at the girl curiously. He didnt know what the business was she needed, but maybe it was seeking work.

That had happened in the past, where people came to him with bounties seeking to make a better stead in their lives. He usually did his best to offer closure toward any bounties as well. Offering counter bounties that would make the hunter want to back off a bit. It offered them a safety they couldnt find on their own.

Than again, maybe it was something else.

"I am Ra'a'mah Numare. Please just call me Ra."

Striding in, she held her hand out for a shake and sat down when he motioned to the chair across from him. Normal business meetings usually had something to drink, but his offer for anything had her interested in what else he could offer.

"A Twli'lek Suprise."

Reaching into a pocket, she took out a datapad and held it out to him. It would be better to get the business out of the way and not waste any time. This way if he found he wasn't interested in what she could offer, she would be on her way.

"On there are some of the services and items I can offer."

Business quite often went both ways so she waited to see what Zaiden offered her and her people.

Zaiden waved a hand at the offering of a datapad, rejecting its passing in his direction, "Please, between the two of us, just a more informal approach sounds nice. We neednt apply so much effort." Reclining, he propped one foot upon the opposite knee, and pressed his hands against each other. His blade silk shirt moved like a flowing river across his form, and the matching pants did the same, neither suggestive nor plain and deterring.

"I have heard of you, Ra, if I am not mistaken." Zaiden said, then grinned spreading the hands a moment in a gesture of confusion, before returning them, "Though from where I cannot for the life of me state."

"Mr. Greyson," A voice came from a speaker in his desk.

"Yes?"

"A Ms. Bryn is here awaiting your attentions."

"Tell her I apologize, that I will see her at the Estates, or she can wait a tick, her choice." Turning his attentions back to the woman, he nodded at her, "Now, what can we do for each other?"

When he rejected the datapad, she lifted an eyebrow, but returned it to her pocket. Everybody had their own ways to do business and he said something informal sounded better to him. What exactly he meant was beyond her, but would try to accommodate him.

He said he had heard of her, which wasn't a surprise.

"Well, I've been business for a long time. Perhaps you merely heard my name mentioned by another person."

A speaker came to life and she ignored what the message was since it didn't concern her. After he replied, he turned his attention back to her and asked what they could do for each other.

"A trade of goods?"

She wasn't about to mention her movement until she got to know him more.

Zaiden tapped his pointer finger tips against each other, all the while eyeing the woman silently. She was a potential aid for his corporation, surprisingly not a person looking for his aid in freedom, payment, nor safety. A struggle went inside of him, not whether to take the potential trade, but rather on whether he should bring up her issues, offering the assistance he felt he could give.

They were not even in contract yet however, nothing binding them. So if he did, it could mean the endangering of his whole company, potentially though unlikely, his safety as well. No, he would see where this went. Then he could offer aid if she wished it.

"Well, the number of goods I have to trade is vast. What are you looking to trade?" Zaiden asked, arching a brow, "What in return as well, for my end."

There was little he needed, but he was never one to be a completely incompetent ass and not allow a trade if sought.

She was sure what he said was true. Running a business often provided a great many goods to trade. Again, she took the datapad out of her pocket, but she didn't offer it to him this time. If he wanted to know more of her goods, then it would held out for him to look at.

"My goods range anywhere from droids to clothing. Even a few ships potentially. If I don't have something ready to trade, I can acquire it pretty easily."

Though Ra didn't mention it, she could also get artifacts if those were items he had a desire for. Laying as many cards out for him to look at and think about, the ball was in his court now.

"What do you have to offer?"
