- Battlecarrier - The largest battlecarrier type vessel from Okins-Relus Engineering the Relentless can field huge quantities of fighters and support ships. This makes the ship highly versatile in combat scenarios, able to swarm an enemy fleet or launch an invasion force from it's multiple hangers.
- Dual Bridge - The battlecruiser fields two bridges, each connected with a single turbolift for fast and instant action between them. Each bridge serves a different purpose, similar to the Venator-class star destroyer. The 'top' bridge serves as the main command centre and the second for starfighter operations, from leading ships out the hanger to dispatching orders to squadrons. Each bridge has a smaller 'back-up' bridge in the event one was knocked out, the ship is able to quickly transfer control to the other and resume operations.
- Slow - The lumbering giant has got low speed and that constrains what missions and objectives it can take on. The ship is unable to pursue smaller faster agile ships and any patrol it partakes will take a lot longer. Thus this ship's usefulness are constrained within the confines of combat.
- Ion Engines - Ion engines are the main method of movement for the ship and thus the Vigil inherits the weaknesses of Ion engines. The ion exhaust produced by the engines made the sip easily detectable to most scanners.
DESCRIPTION
The Relentless-class Battlecruiser is Okins Industries flagship product as of 860 BBY. The 4,000 meter ship was first brought up within the Risen Empire and rudimentary designs were developed. Despite this promises of new flagships for the Risen fleet the faction still collapsed but out of the collapse the plans survived. Once the damaged Okins Industries returned to the core and partnered with a shadowy organisation to form Okins-Relus engineering the new funds and construction yards allowed engineers to bring the relentless to life. With two bridges, each dedicated to its own purpose and masses of starfighters and heavy weaponry the Relentless is a ship to behold, now ready to begin dishing out damage in the name of Imperial might.
