BACKGROUND

Spoiler: The Before

Reggie's history is long and troubled.

She was born on Concord Dawn, in the declining years of the Empire, into the very very small and just starting up again Clan Rau. She was raised on stories of what had transpired in Mandalorian space many years prior at the hands of the Sith. Couple that with the hatred both the Sons of Mandalore as well as the Empire carried for the Sith, and the girl was raised with a great prejudice against the Sith.

She had also learned that her uncle Ghalric Rau, who had been the Alor of the Clan, had once gone after the Sith before the Empire came along. After that, he wasn't heard or seen from again. It was said that someone matching his description had been seen briefly on Tython during the great battle there, but nothing had been confirmed. Unbeknownst to her or her parents, the man had joined the Imperial Spectres and had taken the new name of Blitzhund or Blitz, hiding all of his identity of who and what he was for more efficiency in fighting the Sith.

But the stories of the great battles fought had inspired the girl to become just as great as her uncle once was. She poured everything she had into her training of her people's ways. She survived her Verd'goten easily and became a full-fledged Mando'ad.

But things took a sudden turn quite a few years later.

Reggie and her parents were away from Concord Dawn, fighting on Thyrsus alongside the Imperials. But things didn't go exactly as planned. In the confusion of battle, Reggie ended up losing both of them to death.

Heartbroken and alone, the young woman had no Clan to return home with. And with a new prejudice to add to her list, she decided to forge a new path, like her uncle did. But unlike him, she did not forsake her identity.

The auburn-haired Mando'ad found her way to Enclave space and Kestri, where she had heard others of her kind resided. And rumours en route to the frozen planet also said that those Mandalorians seemed angry. A mindset she could get behind.

So the young Rau arrived on Kestri to begin her new life…

A life of vengeance.

Spoiler: The Now

Reggie stuck with the Enclave, having found a new family within it. Something worth fighting for. (†) Kranak Vizsla had even took her on as protegee whenever time allowed. So she was there, with the rest, during the war with the Alliance, getting her own vengeance against the Jedi while simultaneously fighting for her new family.

And then they all got called back to Kestri.

Things were worse than anticipated. The Vong, who had originally been confined to their zone on Kestri, had managed to expand their numbers in silence underground to the point where they could, once again, launch an attack on Kestri. The Third Vong War for Kestri was underway and lasted the better part of almost two years for the Mandalorians to gain the upperhand.

In this time, many of the once great Enclave had also left, leaving but a remnant to continue the fight against the mutated Vong. Their losses were major at the end of it - including Kranak, to everyone's heartache. But they endured.

And now started evolving into what would be known as the Iron Covenant.

And Reggie evolved with it. Though she still had a dull ache in her heart for her original Clan that had been eradicated on Thyrsus, she now had a new path and a family to follow and protect.

She made sure every move she now made, would be worthy of story and song.

That the name Rau would echo as myth through the stars for centuries to come.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

STRENGTHS
​

+Mando'ad- From the moment she could walk, Reggie had been trained to be considered a Child of Mandalore. Even if she's still young, she's already a formidable warrior
+Have gun, will shoot- Reggie knows how to use a blaster and she's bloody skilled with it. She will very rarely miss her target when she shoots at it.
+Tough nut- Reggie is pretty stubborn and this extends to her mind. Trained from a very young age, she is able to resist all but the strongest of mind control and manipulation by especially Force Users.
+Blade enjoyer- Just as with a blaster, Reggie knows how to use a blade - mostly a beskad, but it extends to blades in general. She can hold her own in most fights - until she has to face a real blademaster.
+Resourceful- Her resourcefulness extends past beskar'gam components. She can use her environment in a fight.
+Loyal- She's loyal to a fault and won't easily abandon someone once she has given them her loyalty.

WEAKNESSES

-Holds a grudge- If she had been wronged, especially by people she trusted, she won't stop until she found vengeance.
-Young - She may be skilled, but she still doesn't have the wisdom that older people have, still being in her twenties.
-Experience - Even though she's skilled, Reggie doesn't have a whole lot of experience on the battlefield yet. She can hold her own, but she can be outsmarted by more experienced veterans.
-Short temper - It doesn't take much to rile her, which can be detrimental in a fight.
-Rebellious - Reggie is not good with following orders - especially after what happened to her family.
