SPECIAL FEATURES:
  • Simulated electroglobin circulatory system enables shapeshifting ability, limited self-healing, and allows armor to continue to operate within a vacuum.
  • Excellent array of protective capabilities combines with shapeshifting capacity to enable wearers to utilize natural (e.g. species’ traits, genetic disposition, etc.) shape-shifting capabilities.
  • Controlled by cybernetic interface, the armor can reshape along with the wearer’s body, and can – in small ways – be altered further, i.e. to create extended razor-sharp claws, short bladed melee weapons, spiny/spiky texture (akin to the sharp scales of some marine animals), etc.
  • A variant of the Panoptes HUD allows incredible communications, situational awareness, combat assistance, information streaming, etc. through use of a quantum-encrypted hyperwave comlink.
  • Mounted hard-sound wrist blasters, called “The Wolf’s Howl” use sound to incapacitate, injure, and disorient targets, able to be used on organic beings, droids, and more.
  • Crushgaunt technologies enhance the wearer’s hand/arm strength, enabling them to even catch lightsaber blades temporarily.
  • Built-in exoskeleton enhances the wearer’s strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes.
  • A personal molecular shield is paired with a personal particle shield to provide solid defensive array against a host of enemy weapons and threats, ranging from melee weapons to even artillery-grade energy weapons.
STRENGTHS:
  • A combination of potent weaponry – working at varying ranges – provides users with a wide field of potential offensive abilities.
  • Powerful shields minimize risks to wearer, offering defense against a broad sampling of potential threats and attacks.
  • Potent sensos, HUD, and communications gear enhances situational awareness, information access, and highly-encrypted communications.
  • Exoskeleton and crushgaunt technologies are used, enabling the wearer’s strength, stamina, reflexes, and speed to be enhanced by three-fold, even when shapeshifting to various forms.
  • Armor can be worn by shapeshifters, retaining its various qualities and abilities throughout various form changes.

WEAKNESSES:
  • Additional elements cannot be attached or otherwise included to this armor, limiting its modularity and versatility in advance of a particular mission or combat type.
  • Cannot function in the same manner as an EVA suit, as it provides no intrinsic supply of breathable air or defense against extreme pressures. Separate breath masks must be used to provide breathable air, since the armor itself can function without oxygen, however the wearer will still need an adequate supply.
  • Gives no protection against Force-based attacks, magic or alchemy (e.g. Dathomirian Witches, Sith Alchemy, et al), or sonic weaponry. In fact, sonic weaponry can disrupt the armor’s ability to function properly if sufficiently powerful, directed attacks are successfully made against it.
  • Serious damage will require time for the armor to heal itself, proportionate to the scale of damage suffered, and extensive major damage – particularly to the electroglobin circulatory system – can render it entirely unable to function for extended periods of time.
  • Cannot be worn above clothing, and must be maintained close to wearer’s skin to operate properly. Further, once applied, armor ‘bonds’ with its wearer, conforming to their biometrics, and cannot thereafter be worn by anyone else.
DESCRIPTION:
A step-up from the previous Steelskin armor she designed, Visanj envisioned a more potent combat variation able to yield expanded offensive and defensive capabilities. The result was the “Red Wolf”, a powerful shapeshifting armor that offers wearers a terrifyingly efficient multi-role, multi-formed capabilities.​
Though unlike other power armors, it cannot be used for an EVA or survival suit, and after-market technologies and systems cannot be added, it still uses a host of advanced systems and components which offer the wearer a truly potent combination. Designed for shapeshifting, it can alter form and retain these qualities and enhanced abilities effortlessly. Able to take excessive amounts of punishment, it is not invulnerable, and once damaged, significant issues can arise.​
Seriously damaged, it will require time to self-heal, proportionate to the scale of that damage, and if certain elements, such as the electroglobin circulatory system, the armor – or a significant portion of its many features – can become inoperable for much longer periods. Further, it cannot be worn above clothing, and once bonded to the intended wearer, it can only be used by them thereafter.​
