The lightsaber was first constructed under the supervision of her first Jedi Master, Ghu Logain, (see [bio]Is the Jedi life for me?), when she was a member of the Jedi Order at the onset of her young life. The weapon had become tainted, in her mind, when she used it to strike down her former Master and fled the Order.

During her travels, she had scoured the galaxy to find special crystals for her weapon. She settled on the Damind Crystal and the rare crystal Kenobi's Legacy. The latter crystal she obtained by killing a bounty hunter who had possession of it. She spent three weeks in a deep mediation trance to focus the crystals to herself. She was successful, however, they have the mark of the Darkside in them due to her being a Vahla.

Sorry for the wait. It took some digging to find even anything similar to the use of Kenobi's Legacy in the Factory.
What I found was the Solari Crystal which has a similar effect to the one of Kenobi's Legacy, and It has required a Crystal Gathering thread in the past. Additionally Kenobi's Legacy is shown as Borderline Unique so I am going to ask for you to go out and get that Crystal if you would like to use it for this sub. If you know of any Lightsaber subs that have that same property (Only crafter being able to use) that didn't require send it to me in a PM. Thank you for being patient.

Since my character is a Vahla....she wouldn't be able to focus the Solari crystal to align it with her since all Vahla have the Darkside born into them; and said crystal can't be corrupted by the Darkside.

I'll go out and do a Dev thread for it. How many posts required?
