Rationale: Politics. Recently there has been a change in leadership within the Red Ravens. Since then there has been some hostile relations. With their powerful grasp on the Antecendent underworld, they have started to devout resources to creating defense for themselves as well as armaments so that they are not caught with their pants around their ankles if they are attacked or forced into attacking. Basically, using their wealth on Antecendent to preemptively prepare for what is bound to come their way at some point.

Description: Sitting several blocks from Dragon Palace Casino, the Red Raven Defense and Arms Company is one of the staples of the Ravens income. Since the erection of the Casino, there has never been a major focus on the Defense and Arms company due to the income generated by it. Until now they have been fine with solely relying off of that income, however now it seems their need for arms and defenses go beyond anything fiscal. They have come to a point where the need for products outweighs the need for money. The factory is nothing huge, but in terms of equipment and workers it excels. The money from the Casino has done wonders to help the Ravens buy good, sturdy equipment and knowledgeable workers.
