Red Garden Pt.2 (Camellia Swift)

That got a look from Ayumi while she raised her eyebrows. "Only way I know how to get you to relax sweetie and getting the right kind." She was thinking about it and shifting the holograms to different size ships. "We might be able to get it into a custom freighter I know some designs could support a secondary reactor in them/ The larger the ship the better the design for having it, maybe some of the hammerheads with proton reactors could handle the strain." She was looking at some of it though with her hands steepled together now while bringing up the ships and checking the space they could change around to modify for the new upgrade. Though she was working on some of it as more parts were being worked on to get into the machine so she could replace them. "I think we might have it or at least a working way to interface better power sources. These ones the boxes have are unique but without finding the world of the aliens who built it we have no way to replace them." So go with the next best thing, a more universal way to accept power into the machine without overloading it.

Ayumi knew plenty of ways to get the Rendili woman to relax if the latter ever felt like reminding her of their time in the turbolift before, but now wasn't the time so she didn't. Instead she brought her head back to the matter at hand as her friend began to consider the possibilities they could attempt with a reactor to power the device. The Proton-8 Reactor Rendili utilized most certainly could handle it, but it wasn't standard in all Hammerheads, just the special brand the Silver Jedi had requested. Although from the sounds of it as Ayumi studied the new technology further iot appeared as if they had a slot problem to contend with. "So basically it doesn't interface well with our modern generators and power cells aren't cutting it so we need to find a way to connect these devices to current power plants. Sounds like a tall order, but its still normal technology right even if it is sophisticated. Even if we have to mess with its whole power generation system it shouldn't effect how it works right?"

Ayumi was looking at her and had a grin on her face thinking about it while she rubbed her hands and grabbed at the expanding simulation as she expanded it and was looking at the power source for it. "The hopeful part of me is looking at it and well for this machine." She pointed to the one being constructed. "We'll be able to get the computer to regulate and control the power levels. With the right reactor and the right connections we should be able to set it up." She was thinking of it and had the simulation running through reactors that got close and she spoke. "We just need an adapter that can fit one end for the power unit and the other will plug into the converter." She was looking it over and going over that she started to work on designing an adapter for the power reactors.

So it wasn't as momentous a task as they first believed it would be to surmount at least, from the sounds of it. Although perhaps the Rendili woman had misconstrued the difficulty over the matter altogether and things were going smoothly actually. An adapter wasn't too difficult to put together at all. They just needed to make sure it transferred power as efficiently as possible and could fit into the new technology and whatever power plant design they decided to use as the reactor. Of course it would still come down to how big the reactor was they would be using and the corresponding size of the converter they planned to hook up to it. "That doesn't seem like it will be too much trouble to come up with. We just need to figure out what size we will be making everything then."

Ayumi was thinking about it and looking at her while she stared at the one thy were building. "A terminal should be a good size, with a section for the materials to go in and come out." She was thinking about it and once an adapter was fashioned in the hologram to connect to the converter then there was the size of it while she was standing at it like it was a bar counter on a wall. The screens above and basins like areas to set materials in and take ones out. "This size should work well on some of the smaller ships we could use to salvage and breakdown wrecks in space." Ayumi was licking her lips as the machined parts were making it hotter and she needed some water grabbing a bottle.

Everything was seemingly becoming more complicated and then being simplified with every step they took. Nonetheless Camellia felt they were making progress, but she just wished once they reached a point they would stick to it. "That depends on what ship you put it on and the size of the wreckage you expect. If anything I say just restrict such to a few designs. A variant for long term exploration craft and another for salvage cruisers whose sole job is to collect the scrapped remains of starships from battles and hazard zones. I don't think its a smart idea to stick these on every ship just because we can. A miniature version maybe for special ops ships so they can perform long term deployments perhaps. I do like the basic layout you've come up with though." Or maybe the Rendili woman was over estimating the cost and trouble of installing the devices.

She was looking at her and the suggestion, minimize the ships it goes on and a smirk came on her face while the holograms of the ships went away leaving only a few. "Exploration and salvage craft, the one station that is being considered for areas of space like Mugg Fallow and the wastes. We could have the station able to handle it. If we could get something like this built on Raxus there would be a great deal of benefit." Her smirk was remaining while she was glad Camellia liked the setup for what they were making while she was programming the machines to start making the main sections to complete the prototype they could test later on.

The Rendili woman's eyes widened at the mention of using such a device on Raxus Prime. The entire world was covered in scrap, junk, trash, and wreckage that was occasionally scavenged and salvaged, but for the most part served as a sort of landfill for the rest of the galaxy. In essence it was prime with materials in whatever state they were in to be used with abandon to provide the device Ayumi was developing with the ability to make nearly anything if they could match the process with a powerful enough reactor. "You make me want to insist we focus all our efforts on Raxus Prime. After all imagine what a large enough factory there could achieve with enough of a power capacity to run the technology. Just think, not only could you have free and unfettered material, but you would be cleaning up the planet slowly, all while generating a droid army or secret fleet. . . . .set it up with an environmentally protected housing unit for live security and supervisors to keep an eye on things, only the most trustworthy, and then run everything as automated as possible so we don't risk too many to the pollution. Imagine if someday you cleaned everything up enough for terraforming to restore the planet?"

Ayumi looked at how excited Camellia was getting at the mention of Raxus and being able to convert the scrap there. A smirk on her face now while she was wondering about it with more of the machine being set up. "Now you are excited and on board sweetie, that is good and means we shall have the great things keep coming." With some more of the parts she was working it over and there was a machined part to the power while she set it up with the machine and the plates for the table to work with it. Ayumi was looking it over while they finally plugged it in and some of the portable generators had the computers coming online.

Great things always came together whenever the two of them put in work alongside each other. It was hard to find good companions who appreciated the efforts put into the products they created. Thankfully it seemed they had one another in that capacity, and it was something the Rendili woman was very thankful for as she looked to her friend as the other girl continued messing with the design through the hologram board in her hands. Yes, camellia was very excited to see yet another project have big implications that made sense, especially after all the help she got on her own from Ayumi in return. "Let's not jinx things yet, we still have plenty we'll want our luck and effort to hold out for."

"Exactly." Ayumi said it while celebrating a little though they had the machines working to pump out what they needed and the parts were being brought in while shifting through the sections they had being built. A new smirk on her face while the hologram showed a completed product with the simulation running. She threw it up higher into the air and let the simulation appear above them detailing the power supply of a proton-B reactor to power it for stations and ships. She could get that and it would mean more power while some more looks were showing a repository for the parts they would need to work on things.

Camellia stared at the simulated layout of the Proton-8 Reactor hooked up to the device for large scale and grinned eager for the project to reach such a level. Very few power plants out there generated as much power as the hypermatter reactor that Rendili stardrive had managed to develop so long ago. However, there were still a few out there even better if they were using isotope-5, but those were also even more unstable than even the Proton-8. It was all a matter of opinion really when you got above standard, but the Rendili woman was quite content with the technology on hand that utilized ingenuity and resources that wouldn't bankrupt small organizations trying to acquire some super rare material. Screw isotope-5! "How long will it take you think?"

Ayumi was looking at her as she looked to the parts they had machined. "Well we have the parts and a reactor being brought in. We managed to move the reactor from Shri-Tal's main facility." She was looking it over and setting it up as the diagram was showing her where they had the parts needed. Ayumi continued to work on assembling it and there was the sounds of workers and roids bringing in the reactor that Camellia had given them for the Will and then was switched out with a working isotope reactor. A beauty of a reactor as it was working and set in the center of the room while the holograms turned off and the workers were setting up the final stage of the testing of the prototype. "Soon enough, a couple of hours to eat and we'll be able to come back."
