[SIZE=10.5pt]Description:[/SIZE] Red Force Battle Armour I(RFBAI) is a distinctive red plastoid armor over a sealed black body glove worn by the Red Legion. The style was inspired by the Nimbus commandos of ancient times and material and designed inspired by the imperial stormtroopers. The complete set would completely encased the upper body and would not bare individual marking outside of rank insignia, classifying the armor as medium. The legs were exposed sides from the body glove, sacrificing protection for mobility.
[SIZE=12pt]The sealed and insulated body glove combined with the plastoid plates protected the soldier from harsh environmental conditions such as extreme hot or cold climates to vacuum conditions all for a short period of time. Like stormtrooper armor, the RFBAI was designed to protect against projectiles and kinetic energy weapons. The armor reduced damage to the wearer from a blaster bolt, though heavier weapons would slice through it like a hot knife to butter.[/SIZE] The purpose of this armor was to create cheap but reliable armor to be mass produced for the Red Legion, a force that is made up of conscripts and volunteers (Non Mandos) that make the bulk of the mandalorian forces.
