Ahoy! After a hiatus I have decided to do more with this character. I'd like to recruit a pirate crew to fly with him. The crew is a bit unique however. Bandit is a lab animal that was experimented on by an organization called Oak Labs. The evil Professor Oak has several stations throughout the galaxy where he experiments on poor creatures. Bandit escaped and is using his sentience to help free other animals and take them under his metaphorical wing.
Now all of the pirates don't have to be lab experiments, but I think it would be fun if a good chunk of them were. I have a few examples of characters people could play, and I'd be willing to let others join up to if they already have established characters that work with this story (sympathetic to the cause, just looking for money etc etc).
The idea is just a silly group to have fun with. This will in no way be serious, as you will be able to tell by the character concepts below.

Jaygo
Jaygo is an expert pilot. During his life as a lab animal he was implanted with a cybernetic device that ran flight simulations inside his mind. Because of this he can calculate jumps and maneuvers as quickly as some computers. He is usually responsible for getting the Critters out of jams with his fancy flying skills.
Alpha
Alpha is a demolitions expert. During his days as a lab animal his skin was thickened to withstand most small blasts. He is intelligent and able to build a bomb with very few ingredients. He is usually the one who helps the Critters make an explosive entrance.
Stella
Stella is a stealth and slicing expert. She was originally experimented on to create an undercover agent who could pose as an unsuspecting animal. Due to her training she is very useful in getting the pirates behind closed doors so they can steal to their hearts desire.
