DESCRIPTION
In the aftermath of the Core-Imperial Confederation’s sudden, and inexplicable collapse, the Republic Engineering Corporation found itself in possession of a priceless artifact. It was a functioning database that possessed the ancient schematics of vessels that were long-forgotten by the Galaxy at large. Every battle tank and walker that ever served the Old Republic were now in the hands of those that had the skills to give their venerable designs new life within the modern era. As more and more code was translated from one database to another, the various design teams within the Vehicle Division began rolling out their newfound designs to the Board of Directors; who ultimately gave them the green light to pursue the various items that were attached to Project: Restoration.

With the uncanny popularity of the Fighter Tank taking the Galaxy by storm, the corporate heads at REC wanted another vehicle to supplement their ever-growing catalogue. This time around, the design team decided to go with the venerable All-Terrain Tactical Enforcer; which operated as a slow-moving main battle tank for the Old Republic. It's complement of modular weapons and payloads, made the AT-TE a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. However, despite 1its adaptability and versatility, there were dozens of operational flaws within the design. Its low centre of gravity made the battle tank almost impossible to tip over, especially with its hexapod locomotion designed like a dune beetle. Yet, with its chassis so low to the ground, the AT-TE often fell prey to cunningly placed minefields, or well-placed munitions that managed to penetrate the walker's armoured underbelly.

So, when the design team at REC sought to bring their interpretation of the Walker into the modern era - they found themselves burdened with quite the task. Of all the things that needed to be enhanced, the thick armoured hide was the first to find itself upgraded. Formed from a blend of the highest-grade of durasteel available to the common markets, and layered; and nano-welded turadium plating - the newest generation of AT-TE would be a force to be reckoned with. Coupled with the heavily armoured hide, this new iteration of the Republic Walker was outfitted with an array of advanced weaponry; further cementing its lethality on the battlefield. The primary weapon was an electrothermal mass-driver, which combined the concepts of a gauss rifle and plasma catalytic conversions to accelerate munitions at superluminal speeds. Adding on the flexibility to catapult a wide variety of ammunition? This new AT-TE would be capable of engaging not only massed formations of infantry but entire squadrons of mechanized armour as well.

With the entirety of the design overhauled and upgraded to modern standards, as well as advancements, all that remained was to bequeath a name. It was then that the design team harkened back to their widely popular Fighter Tank - the Glaive - and elected to follow suit with the naming scheme. Thus, the All-Terrain Tactical Enforcer became the Halberd; and would soon find itself dominating the battlefields of the future, as it once did in the past.

Ravenfire Ravenfire - Huh, I thought I balanced it. Nevertheless, thanks for the second pair of eyes! I've increased the Offensive and Defensive capabilities to Very High as well as boosted up the Speed to Very Slow. To account for those changes I've added items to both the Armament and Defences, as well as any weaknesses or strengths that pair up with those add-ons.

I've actually got you a little high at the moment if my calculations are correct:
Production: +0
Size: -1
Weight: +1
Speed: +1
Maneuverability: +0
Armament: -2
Defense: -2
Cargo: +0

So we are looking at the 3 points here. It you could lower this back down by 3 pts, that would be awesome and i can slap an approval on this

Luca Donskoi Luca Donskoi - I believe that you missed the Very Heavy rating on the Weight Rating, as that'd be a +2 rather than a +1. So, it should be:
  • Large = +1
  • Very Heavy = -2
  • Very High = +2
  • Very High = +2
  • Average = 0
  • Slow/Low = -1
    • Total = +1 / -2 / +2 / +2 / 0 / -1 = +2.
I'm over by two points, rather than three - and have lowered the speed back down to very slow and reduced the armament count back down to high.
